Lots of little details went into making this a very functional and inviting space. It was clean, quiet, private, and had everything I needed to feel at home. It was easy to get to surrounding towns from this location. The hosts were great with communication and had good recommendations for local food. I would absolutely stay here again.

So many things in this property stand out! Handcrafted beams and little wooden ledges for even the remote. Nice shower and shower head. Great washer and dryer. Comfy bed. Every kitchen item you could want. Organic spices! Everything clean and in perfect order. The only thing i would mention is a recommendation for electric blinds to keep out the very early morning sun. Thanks for a beautiful place! We would come again!

This studio apartment was absolutely perfect for our stay in the Burlington area while my child was attending a week-long summer program. Chris and Emily were fantastic hosts with great communication both before and during our stay.
The property shares a lot with a long-term rental home but it was quiet and we felt like we had plenty of privacy. The apartment was beautifully designed, furnished, and maintained. It was also in a great location in that it was easy to get to any of the surrounding communities. We would absolutely rent from Chris and Emily again if we find ourselves needing to stay in Burlington for a few days.

This is a really well-designed space with everything we needed for a pleasant stay in Vermont! A terrific design. We loved having all the amenities such as washer/dryer, stove, oven, full size fridge. The bed is comfy and the fireplace added a nice ambiance. Surprisingly lots of storage space as well. Chris is a great host and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

The property is beautiful and a close drive to Burlington. On the inside it is immaculate, every little detail taken into account. Plenty of parking for one car. The fireplace is a great touch when lounging in bed. A full kitchen with all the amenities and a beautiful bathroom. The deck was a nice little area to hang out in the evenings as well. We greatly enjoyed our trip! Thank you

The carriage house did not dissappoint. The location was a little off the beaten path but certainly close to everything burlington and the surrounding area has to offer. The back/front has a nice deck overlooking a yard and garden which was great place to wind down at night.

We were so grateful to enjoy a few nights in this gem of a place just north of Burlington after being on the road for several weeks. Lovely design and well appointed space for enjoying on its own as well as positioning us for some fun hikes and bites within easy 30 minute commutes. We hope to return soon! We spent more time at the property than we normally would as our visit coincided with record rain and flooding in northern Vermont.
We found the carriage house to be cozy, well kept and comfortable for our stay. We would definitely do it again if our wandering brought us back for another visit in the Burlington area.

This place is so beautiful and hand-wrought with love. The owners are responsive and sweet. It is a short drive to coffee or food and we have no complaints! Every feature made this tiny home inviting, from the electric fireplace backed by a tv that swivel depending on where you want to watch what to the full kitchen. The repurposed barn wood was throughout the place includes the slider for the full bath with convenient washer dryer. Loved this place!!!!

We loved it here. It’s so charming and cute. It’s more or less a studio, and the place is so well organized, there’s so much storage and everything just makes sense. It’s new and clean and wonderful! Chris was super helpful and a great host.

Everything was very clean and the house is very beautiful. We were with our baby and the size of the house was perfect. We just miss towels and had lots of problems with circuits: we always needed to restart it. Also, we received two different codes to enter in the house and that was very confusing for us. We still very envoyed our stay and would recommand it to any couple or small families!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. The property has all the amenities one would need for a stay away from home. I highly recommend this property and would stay again if I needed a place in the area.

The carriage house was beautiful, cozy and well laid out. The rustic wooden beams we amazing. Every inch of space was utilized to the best of it’s ability. It had every amenity that you could ask for. Right down to the quickest dryer that I have ever used. Felt like home for the four days that we stayed. Would highly recommend this property and owner.

This place has everything that is needed. We had a little trouble with the tv and the owner showed up and fixed it for us. Great Location! This was our favorite of the three VRBO's we stayed in, it kind of spoiled us for the others.

My wife and I stayed at Chris and Emily's carriage house in Colchester for Marathon Weekend in Burlington. Their place is very neat, clean, and well equipped. They are very good communicators and pleasant to deal with.

I had a wonderful stay here. It is such a cute little spot. Very clean! Chris was very responsive when i was having some trouble with the wifi, he was very helpful! The only thing was that there was just a small thing of shampoo and tiny soap bar - no big deal, I just would’ve brought my own stuff had I known! Wonderful stay, definitely would come back and recommend it!

This little apt is perfect for a short stay. It is cozy, clean, and the attention to detail in the construction and decorating was really nice. It is very small but it worked for our short stay.
