Really nice and quiet place. Location was good, not too far from places we wanted to see

We had a wonderful time at this property. This home is great vacation spot for families with kids. We had everything we needed and then some. The owner was kind and was available to answer questions. The neighborhood was safe and the neighbors were friendly and helpful. We loved it here and hope to come back next year.

This is a beautiful location! Close enough for tourism offering a peacefully private getaway. The improvements from last year were a pleasant surprise! The new deck and kayaks are awesome. Thank you for another year of a relaxing, peaceful, fun-filled vacation!

Our family had a wonderful vacation on Arnica Bay. We enjoyed playing lawn games, fishing, playing in the sand, swimming, crabbing, kayaking, and relaxing in the hammocks. To our surprise the owners built a deck connecting to the porch. We also enjoyed visiting with the neighbors. Thank you for allowing our family to stay for our first spring break vacation. We made great memories!

We loved our stay at Point of View! This is a well-loved, well-stocked older family home with lots of charm. Can’t beat the porch, private beach, and dock as well as the abundance of beach toys and accessories available at the house for your use! Leisle was great to communicate with and even left us some delicious blueberry bread for us to enjoy! We would definitely consider staying here again.

We had the most awesome family bonding time at this property! The location is wonderful--very nice homes around the property. We rented a pontoon that we anchored right on the beach and enjoyed cruising to Pirates Cove for tasty cocktails and a fun atmosphere, and a sunset dinner at OSO. We also boated to the Orange Beach bay and dropped anchor in waters that felt like we were in the Carribbean. The house reminded me of my grandmother's home growing up--It was sweet, rustic, and provided all the supplies we needed for a shrimp boil and other meals we prepared. I would consider myself a hotel "snob" and while this is not the most updated home, it's charm outweighs modern luxuries. The house set up with perfect, with our 4 teens/early 20 somethings occupying that space. My husband and I slept in the first floor master and our boys, 11 and 13 slept in the twin bed room. The water pressure in the showers was GREAT. I would suggest bringing your own pillows from home, and the bath towels could use some upgrading but are fine. We could not have been happier with our experience here and will definitely be back! I can see our children wanting to bring their future families back to this house some day! We had a wonderful time staying at this property, other than the forecast changing on us and it raining a couple of the days we were there. The private beach and dock were amazing. Our kids had a ton of fun jumping from the dock. I even won $50 from my 20 year old son on a bet that I wouldn't do a belly-flop! He'll learn someday not to bet his dad!😂 The only drawback that I wished would be publicized on VRBO is the owners have a small cabin on the property that they rent out to some locals and that makes the gazebo and beach in front of the gazebo off limits. They also have access to the basement of the main house to do laundry. We didn't find that out until after we booked the VRBO. If it's published, then I missed it and that's my fault. We never ran into the locals renting their cabin so in the end, it wasn't really that big of a deal. We just would have liked to have known that up front. Also, the owner of the VRBO is super responsive. Any time I needed clarification on something or advice she was always prompt to respond. I even got confused on what day we were supposed to check out and when she showed up to her home and we were still there she gave us the time to get packed up and hit the road. I'm sure that was a huge inconvenience for her but she was very polite about my mistake. If we return to the Gulf Shores area we will probably book this home again.

This was our third time staying at the Point of View (POV). As previous stays we were just as excited to be there and expectations were met. If I had a question owners responded back timely and very helpful. Quiet and very serene area. My family and I loved the house along with the amenities available along with the proximity to local attractions. This place is perfect for relaxing and enjoying life and time with family and friends.

The property is exactly as pictured! It is very peaceful and quiet at the house. Fully stocked kitchen and charcoal grill. Plenty of toys for young and old (beach toys, horseshoes, corn horn, paddle board, and much more). The water is just steps away from the house! I would highly recommend this property!

If you have a boat, this is a great location on the water. About a 2 minute boat ride to Pirates Cove and directly across from Bear Point Marina and Oso. Nicely stocked kitchen too. We had a great time.

This property met all of our expectations! We were looking for a bay area where the kids could play in the shallow water and this was perfect! The house is charming and they had all the toys, kayaks, and things we needed for fishing. The hosts and neighbors are wonderful!!

Your property provided an array of escapes to provide each of the 8 of us opportunity to reflect and relax from listening & playing in the water to walking the woods to hearing local stories from the neighbors. Seeing dolphin swimming in the bay highlighted every day! We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and want to do it again next year! Thank you for the opportunity to stay!

It was the perfect getaway for our family! It was relaxing and comfortable. Our boys (2 and 5) had a blast on the beach, crabbing and kayaking. A lot of memories were created at Point of View!

I will start with saying our family vacation was absolutely wonderful staying here! If you’re looking for a perfect beach with all the toys, this is the place!! Having the kayaks, paddle board, canoe, and beach toys at our fingertips was so great! Not to mention a beautiful sandy beach literally steps from your back patio. The house itself is adorable and cozy and could not sit on a better piece of property. However, it can use some attention to deep cleaning as well as minor repairs. Overall, we came for the beach and we loved every bit of that! Neighbor at the cottage on the property is so sweet and wonderful. Hosts left a beautiful note and welcome package! My family made beautiful memories here.

Can actually get to restaurants and attractions quickly via water. Pirates Cove and OSO marina/restaurant are less than a mile by boat. Well appointed house, nice bay beach, very homey. Leisle and Tom are a phone call away if you need anything. Would definitely stay again.

The property is a family home and the homeowner is very generous with sharing their home and accessories to make a fun trip. The beach area is a sandy bottom and gently sloping making it a nice family beach. The wharf is easily accessible and good for fishing and crabbing. Their is plenty of hot water for showers and great water pressure. The homeowner worked with us when we need to flex dates at the last minute and left a lovely welcome basket including homemade blueberry bread. We appreciate the opportunity to enjoy Point of View.
