Jo is a fab host and made us very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble.

Made to feel welcome from the start, the breakfast is to die for and sets you up for the day, it is a perfect location if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of town/city life, an absolutely wonderful time had, Thank you Jo.

Breakfast was great. Location very good for day trips (canterbury and chilham - hasting and battle - Brighton and Alfriston - Birling gap). Also 5 mitutes from Rye. Jo was very helpful, very nice person, fullfilled every request we had emediately.

From the moment that we arrived at Barons Granary, we just knew this was going to be an amazing stay! No sooner had we pulled up outside this lovely property, than Jo was there to greet us in person. Walking into the property the first thing that struck us both was how clean and fresh everywhere looked. The lounge is well laid out with a large flat screen television and very comfortable seating area. The small fridge is situated in a corner of the lounge which Jo keeps stocked with fresh milk and soft drinks. The well equipped bathroom is spotless with good quality towels and complimentary toiletries. Finally the bedroom has a King size bed which is very comfortable, plenty of wardrobe space and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfasts though are just something else...one of Jo's breakfasts will set you up for the day! Breakfast is taken in the lounge at a table alongside a window. You are presented with a range of Cereals, Yoghurts, and Fruit Juices as Jo will take your order for tea or coffee and what Cooked Breakfast you would like. We both opted for Sausages, Bacon, Hash Brown, Tomato, Fried Egg and Mushrooms all locally sourced and cooked and presented perfectly. After all of this, Jo will bring in a selection of white and brown toast, jam and marmalade...and more tea and coffee if you want it! But it doesn't end there! Fresh fruit is always replenished in the lounge daily and to top everything off each day Jo leaves some little sweet treats in a bowl for her guests. Having stayed in Hotels, B&B's and Apartments across the UK and Europe, we can quite categorically say that Barons Granary is right up there with the very best of the best! As you will have gathered by now this B&B is amazing...we have already booked for next year!

Anyone who can find fault with Barons Granary will quite frankly NEVER be satisfied with anything!
