Everything about this property was AWESOME! Jeff and Kathi made my husband and I feel welcome and at home. As soon as I booked the apartment Kathi was in contact with me. Very cute and quaint apartment 😁 minutes from the beach and TONS of activity! Highly recommend! They are exceptional hosts and the property was awesome!

Very comfortable. excellent AC, great pool, nice landscaping, great mattress, nice shower. interior lighting needs help. good fridge but don't plan on serious eating in - there's only a hot plate and microwave. Kathi and Jeff very helpful when necessary, you won't see them unless you need them. they were excellent sources for good restaurants, shopping, etc. grandchildren came to visit us; no problem. We had a wonderful time. Donna and Peter We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

We [ my wife and myself] just returned home after a 3 month stay at the "cozy cottage with a pool". This was our 13th winter in Florida. Our stay at Cathy's tops as far as feeling at home 1800 miles from home. We were welcomed like family and made to feel at home. 2 things made the stay pleasant. 1 the shower was large enough for a family of 27. and 2 the bed was sooo comfortable. We love the location. It is located near the many activities that take place on Canal St. One can literally part the car and walk to a dozen restaurants, one grocery store, a movie theatre, several churches, not to mention a hospital. One can join the locals and fish under the Martin Luther King Bridge 24/7. Kathy's two grown children are helpful in suggesting things to do and places to go. Yes we would recommend this place to stay and God willing , we plan to return at a later date. Fred Hamilton

I have enjoyed every type of accommodations, from Biker Basic to Ocean View Penthouses and everything in between. The exception being my recent stay in New Smyrna Beach. I Love This Place ! The pictures are accurate... the location is better than Beach Front. Who would have thought 6 weeks would go so fast? The Owner and Family were gracious and respectful. The comfortable apartment is in a quiet, safe, and convenient area with easy access to major roads and the beach. The decor makes the apartment feel like a home with plenty of closet space for hanging clothes and storage. The bed is comfortable and nicely adorned. An added bonus is the nice covered front door porch area to sit, relax, and enjoy the breeze. The owner and her son are absolutely delightful. They make you feel welcome, provide extra amenities, and are always ready to help with anything you may need. Loved, loved, loved staying here for most of the month of August, 2016 into the first few days of September. I gladly would return!

The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood. It is an easy walk to the historic Downtown for dining and shopping, and close to everything by car. The owner is friendly and most helpful, offering suggestions for places to eat and visit. I shall certainly stay again the next time I visit.

This was our best trip to date. Kathis cottage is comfortable , close to the beach, and very welcoming. Kathi was the absolute best host and I look forward to going back back. Thank you from the both of us!!

What a wonderful retreat cottage. This is truely a home away from home. We never skipped a beat once arriving and were very pleased with the location and privacy this cottage afforded to us. The owner was VERY helpful in assisting us finding local activities and businesses in the area as needed, with a great little welcome book in the home that introduces the area and where the locals go to eat and play. As a travler I especially enjoyed the map on the wall...look closely at its secret. Kathi always had a friendly smile on her face and offered her assistance everytime our pathes crossed. The cottage is secluded from high traffic areas yet within walking distance to many local business areas. If the beach entices you it is less than a 3 minute drive over a bridge. KSC and Daytona are both within a short easy drive of 30-40 minutes to this little gem. The cottage was clean and well stocked with all the utensils needed. And a nice porch to relax on and take in the night or morning air. The bed was super comfy after a long day of exploring. It was a positive atmosphere for adults and children. So much better than a crowded hotel or high tourist area. Thank you for allowing us to be your guests to this home!

This is wonderful place to stay, I love the home, I love the owner and we have stayed here over the past 4 years several times and It gets better every time we return! The surrounding community is fantastic, nice walking areas ,thrift stores, restaurants, great beaches and surf! Who would not love this? Kathi Powers knows how to make a person feel welcome and always has answers if you have questions. Thank you Kathi for a great place to come visit while I am in New Symrna Beach Florida.

The one bedroom, upstairs apartment is in a great location as advertised. It is very close to the beach and the downtown. However, if you are looking for a relaxing, quiet vacation, this apartment is not for you. The landlord lives steps away from the apartment. We were not expecting to be set up right next to the landlord. Her dogs were constantly barking loudly at night and every time we walked by her front door to get out of the apartment. The landlord also had guests in and out of the room below the apartment and you could hear everything through the floorboards. On occasion, the landlord even played loud music when hosting guests. Additionally, the apartment and pool (which had no temperature control) were dirty on arrival, and the kitchen did not have a regular oven, stove-top, or dishwasher making it difficult to do meals at the apartment. We have stayed at several vacation rentals, and this was the most disappointing by far.

This was my second stay here and peaceful is the word I would use! I had recent shoulder surgery and the pool was excellent for my stretching. I loved sitting on the upper deck with the nice breeze blowing in from the Lagoon. On a very lucky day, there was a gorgeous rainbow across the sky. Kathi is honest, easy to work with and will go out of her way to please! Kathi, thanks for the stay.

This place was perfect for our family vacation (There was 3 of us). The cottage was plenty big enough for us, it was close to the beach, and the pool was fun and relaxing! Kathy and Ashton were very courteous and kind! We loved this place and would definitely stay again! Thank you!!

The cute little cottage was perfect for our family. We especially enjoyed the private pool. Your son was very helpful in giving suggestions for things around town. We would definitely stain again.

This is a very comfortable and clean cottage. I loved drinking my coffee every morning on the cool balcony. You can actually see the Lagoon from there. Many things are in walking distance, like the riverside trail and Canal street shops and restaurants. The owner is is easy to work with and trustworthy. I will stay her again on my next visit.
