We loved our short weekend stay at the cabin for Christmas! Both cabins were super clean and had everything we needed from an accommodation standpoint. Very close to the trails also, will be back for sure!

I rented the property for a women’s retreat weekend. It was such a beautiful space, inside and out. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed. We really enjoyed the walking trail and fire pit, and we so appreciated that there was plenty of firewood. Thanks for sharing your beautiful space with us!

Very easy to communicate with property management. Space in cabin was well utilized and clean. Loved layout of living room and kitchen combination to spend time with family. Yard and fire pit were great as well. Very happy with our experience

The cabin was very nice and very well stocked, especially the kitchen which we loved. Lots of towels even for the hot tub. There was 7 adults and one infant and plenty of space to spread out. The small cabin did not have much hot water in shower.? only other con was neigbors who shot off about a thousand rounds of gunfire at night and then ran chainsaws at 10:30 at nite !!! wish grass had been cut. Enjoyed trails and watching fish in pond.

The main house was very clean inside … the additional house was not a heathy environment to stay in even though it was beautiful and we planned to use it … we could not due to the fact of the tarp on the roof had leaked inside the additional house made it feel unsafe … there where a lot of bugs and water marks on the walls. It smelled like mold and mildew. Getting inside the house we did not receive the right code and with no reception I had to drive a few miles down the road to call the manager. The Wi-Fi passwords and usernames where incorrect and there where three inside the home which made it very confusing. Over all I would stay in main home again. It was beautiful and clean. Although I would recommend curtains or blinds for the living room/kitchen windows. It has an amazing view off the deck with the pond and trees… at night the stars are absolutely amazing!

Wonderful cabins and prompt responses from owner when needed. Peaceful time away with friends and family. Great space for kids outdoors and gameroom fun for all!

Property OK, it was all about location, location, location. Park access was great.

The stay was exactly as expected. It was very clean and exactly what we were looking for. It was listed as a charcoal grill, but when arrived it was a propane grill so we brought unnecessary supplies. I would recommend that in the welcome binder put internet connection instructions, we had a 1-2 second power surge which cut off the internet on the 3rd day of a 4 day trip. Unfortunately, the internet did not come back online and we could not figure it out so we did not have internet for 2 days.

In town for family wedding. 6 adults, 6 teenagers. We used both main house and guest house. So much room for everyone. Wide variety of dishes and cooking utensils. We did have to ask for more towels as there wasn't enough. Hot tub and pool table needed attention. All matters were handled promptly. Owner very responsive and staff polite and quick. The property itself is beautiful and peaceful. Beds very comfortable. Highly recommend. One suggestion is to bring slippers for guest house.

Checking into the cabin was very easy but the stay was not smooth. We stay over the Fourth of July week where it was 90+ degrees outside and the A/C unit was broken. Susan, the owner, had three people out to check the A/C with no answer and not getting it fixed. We had to all sit in the guest house for the whole second day because of the heat. This cabin also advertises a pool table and a game room. In this “game room” there is only a pool table, in which you can not play. It was purchased from an arcade asking for quarters. We put in quarters to play and still nothing. There were no balls to play. Throughout our stay, we were frequently reaching out to the owners and were not receiving a reply after the first maintenance man came out to check on the AC unit.

Not enough towels, wash cloths, no dishsoap, only 3 trash bags for 4 days. Air conditioner in main cabin never went below 80 degrees. We still managed to have a great time.

Wow what a weekend we celebrated a birthday and our daughters engagement! The property is absolutely gorgeous the cabins are exactly what we expected. Will definitely be back.

There was seven of us, all family. Just getting away to relax and enjoy the time together. Mission accomplished.

We had a family getaway for Easter and this property was PERFECT!! No complaints and highly recommended!

We had a great time at the cabin.

There were 2 families that stayed here for 4 days/3nights for our Spring Break. 4 adults, 8 kids (ages 3-15). Overall, it was a great place to spread out. We never felt crowded. It was really nice to have the extra little house for the 3 teen boys to stay in. It was great to have the big open grassy area to play in and the kids also enjoyed the wooded area on the property. We went out during the days and did hiking at a few different locations....it was nice to be pretty close to trails. We did all of our meals in the house. We would spend quite a bit of time opening cupboards looking for stuff, but it was pretty well stocked. It was good that the owner told us that we would only have 2 dishwasher pods, trash bags, etc......because we needed more than that and did bring some. Hot tub worked well. Firepit was nice to have - bring your own firewood. We bought some while we were out, but didn't use it all and left it for the next group. Description said there was only a charcoal grill.....but there was also a gas grill. Defiintely heard a group of coyotes yipping and howling in the evening times. Quite a few vocal birds in the mornings. Teen boys don't really care about sheets/pillowcases, but their moms do. When I realized the boys were not using sheets or pillowcases, I searched both houses for them, but couldn't find any extra linens. I eventually emailed and asked if we could have some, but by then we only had one more night. They said housekeeping would bring us some, but I never saw any. We also did see a small mouse run through the basement area one evening. Didn't love that there's a decent-sized cleaning fee and then there were also tip envelopes for the house cleaners as well. Overall, the weather was great during our stay and the accomodations were really enoyable for our two families to have time together.

Our family had a great mini-spring break at this spacious and comfy cabin. Great updates space, comfy furniture, lots of seating, comfy beds. There was lots for us to do including building a fire in the fire pit, feeding the fish in the pond, corn hole, billiards, board games and more. It’s super convenient to great hiking spots (we loved Cedar Falls), the wind chime store and to the city of Logan. Highly recommend!

Really beautiful property and cabin, perfect for our getaway weekend. The hot tub was great (we visited in Feb.) and the rest of the cabin was very cozy and provided a wonderful environment.

Place was very clean. Linen/bedsheets smelled very clean!!. Beds were very comfortable (and we are pretty picky) The basement was perfect for the 6 kids we had in our party. They all were able to have enough space with the dbl bunk beds and their own sitting area and bathroom. The cottage house was very nice. Management was very helpful and easy to get ahold of to solve any issues we might of add. Definitely recommend this cabin!!

Plenty of space for everyone in my group of 10 to sleep comfortably, and everyone can sit at a table or the island to eat. Kitchen supports two to three people cooking together. Hot tub on a snowy night was simply magical. There was some confusion on instructions for checkout between the binder and what I was emailed and what the property contact told me directly. Recommend printing the checkin-checkout instructions before going because not much cell service. Overall we had a great time and this property was perfect for what we wanted for the weekend.

When we arrived we found several things dirty, even a red work towel was left on the clean towels. Bathroom wall was very dirty and under the door handle as well. Several light bulbs were burnt out. Hot tub was leaking. Beds were extremely uncomfortable, and we were asked to start a load of laundry and the dishwasher before we checked out. Weven paid a heafty cleanup fee and felt that's what that should be used for. There was an envelope to tip cleaners; I felt was unnecessary due to the cleaning fee I already paid. Beware not to use there cleaning products either you'll be charged. Such a shame because no one likes staying in filth. We felt as if we could not relax because we were told there were cameras and didn't want to be treated like toddlers. Please save your money and go somewhere you'll get your monies worth.

We took our kids and grandkids on vacation. The accommodations were great! We really enjoyed the fire pit and large yard for the grandkids to play. It was a great location too for all kinds of activities.

This property is perfect for a family getaway, especially appreciated the 1 bedroom cabin on the property. House was very clean and well-appointed. Would definitely rent again.

The property was beautiful! There was barely any cell service but we were warned ahead of time. So many amazing hiking trails and sights very close by along with other activities! Will definitely be going back!

Nice, clean property with all the amenities our group of 11 needed. The little guest house was perfect as it gave people a quiet space to retreat from the larger group.

This is our third summer staying for several days at Bushwood cabin. It is a beautiful location and the accommodations are top notch. The cabin is well appointed and tastefully decorated. The kitchen and family areas are ready for great dining and playtime. Our only concern was that we did not receive our arrival packet until just before we needed to leave our home. It was a bit challenging to contact the manager since the number given on the website is not in service. All in all this cabin is top shelf. My family loves it and we hope to go back next summer.

Nice little cabin, great for myself and some friends. Perfect for what we wanted to do. Out in the woods, just to get away and catch up with some friends. No too far away from the stores. Guest house was great addidtion for someone to stay in. Definitely will stay again.
