There are hidden “resort HOA” fees for pets; cost me an extra $280. Also, if arriving at night, the complex is not well marked as to the name “Treasure Island”. We had to stop at a gas/convenience store in order to find it. The next morning we saw the name on the front top left of the parking garage. Cannot see it at night. Other than that, we loved the privacy of the location and would stay here again.

Overall Condo was really nice, good facilities, wonderful sea view. Only thing that upset us was when returned from an outing to find condo had been opened ready for maintenance to paint each side of the door which took 40 minutes with the door wide open. No one asked permission to enter the condo and no previous warning. We were very annoyed at this as our valuables were in the condo. I sent a email to emerald coast rentals who never replied.

Reviewer Comments: We checked in on Saturday afternoon to our room, all of the linens and towels did appear to be fresh but we found the showers, ceiling fans, and floors had not been cleaned. I realize that any beach rental has potential for some sand in the floor but this was actually filthy. Upon wiping up some water in the floor the paper towel was black. I realized we had a serious issue when plugging in a phone charger beside the night stand I noticed a half eaten cookie covered in cob webs. After looking for contact information we realized the offices were closed for the weekend, so we ended up going and buying a mop and some cleaner and spending a few hours sweeping and mopping the floors. During that process I was sweeping the master bedroom and swept a bunch of broken glass out from under the bedside table. The glass was not just a few tiny pieces, but there were some big pieces that could have cut someone’s foot badly. Anyway the end result is we cleaned to a point we can enjoy our vacation with reasonable comfort. One remaining concern is that if the floors are left that dirty, how could I believe the shower and tub have been cleaned because they don’t appear to have been. So now I’m a little uneasy about my daughter sitting in them after who knows what has been in them since they were last cleaned. And upon looking there is black mold around the bottom. The only other thing that caught my attention is the air filter for the hvac needs replaced. That is something that should have been real easy to fix but they came and looked at it and never returned with one for the rest of the week. My rental said it included 2 beach chairs but of course when we got down to the chair guy he said no they don’t have chairs for that room but every week people come down there expecting that room to have chairs. I think they finally removed from the listing after we raised an issue about it.Over all the locatio

Enjoyed the views from our condo

We have stayed at Treasure Island multiple times and this unit was wonderful. It was very well equipped with lots of dishes, cook wear, and utensils. Maybe if there could be some plastic cups instead of all glass that could be helpful, especially with kids. We had a small hiccup to rectify at the beginning of our stay and the rental company was very responsive and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed in a timely and friendly manner- kudos to them! We love the pool that is very family friendly and being right on the beach as well so that our days are spent soaking in all of the sun and water. This area also has so many shopping and restaurant choices nearby so we never feel like we are at a loss for places to go. We were a little surprised that this unit had no hair dryer so be sure to bring your own as we had to go buy a new one for ourselves. Overall we loved our stay and the beautiful unit and would definitely be a repeat customer!

Place was mostly clean other than under furniture. Good location away from the main drag where all the traffic was. Pool and beach was very nice.

The condo was “as pictured “- but in person and upon inspection you could see the lack in care. Floors were filthy- cleaning just sweeps and doesn’t mop! With an infant who crawls it was a battle to keep his little knees and feet clean. And that was on arrival in the first 15min. Balcony needed swept bad and windows cleaned. E has to mind the couch to plug in a device and it was obvious this condo hasn’t had a thorough cleaning in a very long time. Upon leaving we removed our bed covers as asked and to our horror there was a filthy, blood stained and urine stain on the mattress protector! GROSS! Our condo was advertised to come with complementary beach services but upon checking that out we were told the condo owners hadn’t paid their bill in months! And the chair people were NOT NICE about it either. Finally out biggest issue was the undisclosed fees we encountered from Emerald Coast Rentals. We were charged for 2 car registrations, pool bracelets - in total we paid VRBO and Emerald Coast Destinations (realtors fee). It only stated that ECD managed it- so why all the fees on us? Too many MISC fees prices people out!

Condo was listed accurately, beautiful property, condo had everything we needed.

Overall great stay and I highly recommend! The only issue we had was the people at the beach shack said we did not have free chair rentals for the week. Very spacious for 4 adults, two small children, and one tween! Also, the cleaning crew left a stain and crumbs on the fiber/fabric mattress protector but I washed/rewashed it for peace of mind. Other than that the place was excellent! We even got to check in EARLY!

When we arrived at the unit the glass on the kitchen table was broken as was the glass on the coffee table and the glass on another side table. I don't understand why the maids didn't report the broken glass? The floor was so nasty that when we arrived and took off our shoes our feet were black on the bottom within minutes. The dishwasher was full of clean dishes, there was food under the furniture in the living room and food under the table and chairs on the patio. Upon removing the bedding this morning we found a big dried blood stain on the mattress protector in the master bedroom . For what we paid for a cleaning fee and the filth and destruction we walked into when we got there you need to find another maid service. I will say that the maintenance crew was really quick to remove the glass. The maintenance guy was also quick to check out the cause of the power outage and get it resolved. We've been staying at Treasure Island the past 6 years and this was the only time we have had issues. However in the past we have never stayed in this unit. I hope the maids do a better job cleaning for the next family that stays in this unit.

Thought I booked with VRBO, but learned I rented from ECD and a mystery convenience fee of $99 was added to the previous Total Bill! Coffee table glass covering had large crack and broken area. Decorated well!

Great location!

We had a great time, and this room was perfect for our 7 and 4 year old. They shared a king bed and slept later than at home. The bunk beds were perfect for their little hide out. Our king bed was very comfortable. We always stay at Treasure Island because most rooms are set up the same. The patio chairs were a main reason we picked this room, and now we want to purchase some for our house. I gave a total of 5 stars and we would absolutely stay in this room again. The only things I would say need to be fixed is the guest shower doors are not connected, they hang but work good enough. The shower in the master was difficult to adjust hot/cold. And none of our clothes really got cleaned in the washer. It needs to be cleaned as there was a constant spoiled smell in it. These things did not deter us from having a great time, and as I said we would definitely consider this room again! Thank you for a great place!

I have never stayed so close to the ocean before. This place is steps away from the beach. The ocean view and the balcony were awesome! The property was real nice. The pool and hot tub were also nice and the beach service was great! I would definitely book at this resort again.

Might have been nice if actually got to stay in this unit. They did not tell us ahead of time that they were moving us to a different condo. Beware of booking this property...it's listed by a property management company with lots of horrible reviews and complaints on the BBB.

We weren’t able to check in til late and when we got there room hadn’t been cleaned. Or if it was- done horribly. Old bar of soap in shower, garbage still in cans, sand in fridge, and Doritos all over floor. The treasure island itself was beautiful. Wonderful staff. I just believe the owner of actual condo needs clean better.

Had a great time at this property. It was nice to be able to cook breakfast ‘at home’ and then head straight to the beach. LOVED the beach chair rental that came with the room. Suggest that you wait until the morning after your arrival to get groceries. Room was clean, loved the washer/dryer. Would definitely stay again.

The condo was everything we expected and more. It was beautiful, clean, convenient, and very relaxing. We would highly recommend this property to others.

We definitely enjoyed our stay in 1206. The room was extremely nice and the view was great. Our favorite thing was the balcony furniture. The only thing we didn’t like was the master bed was extremely noisy every time we moved at night and we recommend to bring your own bath towels as the rooms are pretty small. Other than those two things, everything was excellent!
