We had a very nice time staying at this property😊 it was very clean, spacious, and a beautiful location. We had a little problem with the air conditioning when we arrived, but we just called Carol, and she took care of the problem as soon as she could…especially with it being over the weekend! It was repaired by Monday afternoon with a new part! Everyone had such a great time in the fenced in pool area☺️Our grandchildren had a blast❣️Thank you so much🏖️

The Rookery was a wonderful family vacation location. This was an exceptional property. Lots of bright rooms to spread out in and plenty of seating inside and out. If you come to Hilton Head in the summer, a pool is a must. The grandkids and adults enjoyed the pool just as much as the beach! The weather was hot, but picture perfect. The views facing the lagoon were fabulous and it was so peaceful and quiet (except for the calls from the egrets, hawks, wood storks etc 😄). I’m an avid birder and enjoyed seeing all the bird families. We enjoyed bicycling to the beach which was about 10 minutes away and along the many bike paths. We barely left Sea Pines….uncrowded beaches, fun pony rides for the grandkids, immaculate neighborhoods, golf clubs etc. We would love to return to the Rookery!

The home was well-stocked and clean with plenty of room for everyone. The neighborhood was quiet with very little traffic. We rented bikes to make the one mile trip to the beach and to enjoy all the bike paths in Sea Pines. The pool was the perfect size and was enjoyed by our whole group. We enjoyed watching the birds flying around behind the house. Would stay here again should we return to HHI.

We had 7 people stay in the house over Christmas. It was a great house to make holiday meals with the open floor plan. We had our dog with us, and it was a great area of Sea Pines to go on walks. Would definitely stay here again. The owners were excellent to work with and very responsive with all communications.

Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed everything was very clean bedrooms were really nice and we had a nice day loved watching the fish jump in the water behind us and the wildlife so dear and birds and even the alligator made in the appearance right before we left

The house is very relaxing. The view for bird watching was excellent. Lots of egrets, ospreys, and herons to view at the lagoon. Quick trip to the beach. Pool was excellent.

This was our 2nd trip to Hilton Head, but first at this property. Carol Shultis was very easy to work with. She kept in touch with us throughout the entire process. The house was very nice and clean. My wife and I enjoyed bird watching and biking, while our 3 teens spent many hours at the pool. We rented bikes Palmetto Bikes at a discount provided by Carol. Great decision. We made daily trips to the beach (~1 mile) and Harbour town (~1.5 miles) by bike. We also enjoyed watching the sunset from the golf course. If we decide to vacation at HHI again, this property will be at the top of our list again.

Plenty of space for all, we all loved the plentiful wildlife and the private pool was fantastic!

We loved our stay here. The layout was perfect and the view of the lagoon was nice from the living room and kitchen and the pool was good size and warm. Easy 1 mile walk to beach.

Our family had an amazing stay at The Rookery. The property was exactly as advertised, with the added bonus of a quiet neighborhood and low traffic street. We were able to easily ride our bikes to Harbourtown, the beach club and the Shops at Sea Pines. It is a large home and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The pool on property was a great feature and the home had all the essentials we needed. We definitely would recommend this property for your next family vacation. Carol is a great host and checked in with us throughout our visit. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Lovely home! Enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed this very clean, spacious, and well equipped home for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We had 8 adults and never felt cramped. The king sized beds were comfortable, all rooms very spacious and very clean. Two washers, two dryers and two refrigerators were a welcome surprise. The kitchen was well stocked with a large crock pot, casseroles, a variety of mixing bowls, spices and plenty of plates, flatware and glasses. Parking more than 3-4 vehicles required some juggling but was doable. We did not pay to heat the pool but it would be necessary to use it in November. We would definitely stay here again.

The Rookery met all our family's needs and then some! I could tell by my first interaction with Carol that things were going to be great. The house was just as pictured - although it was way more spacious than we imagined! It was plenty of space for our family of 4 - we didn't use two of the bedrooms, but I think there is easily room for 8 to 10 adults/kids. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, plates, and tons of flatware. I cooked most of our meals and found things just where I'd put them in my own house. We paid for pool heat and it really made a difference. The weather was so beautiful, we spent our days at the beach and pool both. The house is a short bike ride to the beach through the shaded path. We rode all over Sea Pines and even to Coligny shopping center with our girls - they had a blast. Rent bikes! We also brought our pup and he was right at home. Carol is so organized and thoughtful. It really was one of our very best family vacations yet!

This lovely home is situated in a beautiful location. The house is well equipped, spacious and immaculate. The owner is very gracious & readily available to correct a small issue we had. I would say access to the pool is a little obscure through 3 bedrooms or the front door and to get to the beach is slightly longer than a short hike. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sea Pines is beautiful and highly recommend it.

The home was spacious and allowed for time together on the wrap around couch or also privacy when needed. The pool was clean and maintained. With all of the activity in the neighborhood it was still quiet and relaxing while at the property. The view of the water and birds coming and going in the back yard were tranquil. There were bike trails that led you all through the neighborhood. Restaurants and groceries were just at the entrance to the neighborhood. This was a peaceful getaway for the family that we all enjoyed.

We really enjoyed our stay, the property was clean and comfortable. Plenty of room and the pool was very nice, enjoyed the view out back and the fishing.

Carol was a joy to work with. We had a couple of questions and she answered promptly. It was a nice space for our girls’ trip. The pool is a plus. There was enough room that we were able to be together when we wanted and still have alone time. The only complaint is the week went too fast.

Beautiful location in sea pines. Very well equipped kitchen. Lots of space inside and out. Plenty of wildlife on view. Easily supported a family of nine and a dog. Nice pool enjoyed by all. Good communication with the owner. Very clean. Recommended!

The house is great and very clean. The beds are comfortable. Nice kitchen. The lagoon is beautiful. The heated pool was great fun. It was nice to sit out on the lagoon side and then change it up sitting by the pool. Carol is excellent to work with. She is incredibly organized. We would love to stay there again.

The house was perfect for our family. Location was central to everything. The backyard was great to run around and play. The owner was helpful and responsive. We would definitely rent again.

Enjoyed this stay, house had plenty of room and plenty of bathrooms. Peaceful area, really enjoyed the backyard and the wildlife and all of the windows that made it visible even when you were inside. Great location in Sea Pines!

This was the perfect property for our family to get away and relax. We enjoyed watching the wildlife (deer, fish, alligator, ibis, egrets, heron, and osprey) right in the back yard. The kitchen was well-stocked and spacious. Our beds were comfortable, and the layout of the bedrooms was excellent for privacy. This neighborhood is perfect for walking, biking, or running. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pool each day. We would definitely book this house again.

The house is located in a great location in sea pines which made getting around very easy. The landscaping was very nice and the house was nicely decorated and maintained. We would stay there again!
