You can't beat the location of this property. The views are incredible. And to be close to the restaurants and shops is a bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

The property overall is in very good shape. Kitchen and extra bath could use a update but not horrible or in bad shape. The number one thing about this condo is the location. We spent hours a day on the patios watching the dolphins, manatees, and birds. Not to mention all of the boats and kayakers out in the creek. You cannot go wrong renting this location

The location was fabulous. the unit faces the bay and marshes and is adjacent to a marina. We watched manatees, dolphins and alligators from the terrace. Yachts, tour boats, kayakers sailed in and out of the marina all day. It was lovely. Also, Shelter Cove is conveniently located in the middle of the island and very convenient to great restaurants, shops, beaches and activities. Unfortunately the unit did not meet my expectations. On the first night there we were locked out of the complex because we had been given the wrong gate code. After driving around for 45 minutes at 1:00 in the morning we flagged down a security officer who found the correct code and helped us access the property. Also, the unit was spacious and could have been very comfortable. Unfortunately it was not clean and smelled of mildew or something else. One of the pillows in the main bedroom had a stain on it. There were stains in the main bathroom shower. The table on the terrace was dirty when we arrived and there were other remnants of previous residents on the terrace. I will say that the owners were very responsive after I contacted them and asked them to send someone over to clean. My guess is that they are unaware of the job the cleaning staff is doing. With proper attention and professional cleaning this could be a really great place to vacation.

The view from this property was amazing, and the location was so convenient. The villa itself has a great layout and perfect amount of space for our group of 3, however, with the use of the pullout couch, a group of 6 could easily stay in the unit. Linda was very responsive when we had a couple of minor hiccups (due to our error - not hers!). Everything was clean and in good working order. We would stay there again without question.

Exactly as described! Great view watching boats, kayaks, and paddle boarders. Don’t even need to drive anywhere once you arrive! Ready to go back!

We love the centralized location with an easy walk or bike ride to the Palmetto Dunes amenities. The marina/shopping/restaurant area is next door and very nice. The owners are quick to respond with any questions. The villa is comfortable, but could use a deep clean in areas. But it was easy to ignore the dust when you are looking at the beautiful view.

We enjoyed our week at this property. The spectacular view is the highlight of the villa. We spent a lot of time on the porch watching boats and wildlife come and go. The building is quiet and we enjoyed walking along the Shelter Cove harbor.

Villa offers a serene location coupled with numerous conveniences within walking distance. We enjoyed the beach, daily walks, long bike rides, pool, hot tub & endless restaurant choices in Shelter Cove. Marina wildlife, gorgeous sunsets & harbor boats kept us entertained while relaxing on the cozy deck. Owner was extremely responsive. Can’t wait to return to this gem.

With its beautiful view of the channel and it creature comforts, our condo consisted of everything good that had brought us to Hilton Head. Our "vacations" consist of interesting homes in interesting places, and several things are interesting to us: the beauty or interest of the locale; good places to walk and good places to eat. Shelter Cove was a good place to walk, as was the ocean beach near Mitchellville, Audubon Park, and the long trail to the pond and beyond over there between the bridges. We also appreciated being close to Bluffton and Savannah. And what great places to eat: Charlie's Etoile Verte, A Taste of Europe, Olive and Fig, Old Oyster Factory, Dockside, Hudson's, Watusi, Ruan Thai, and other places; and, in Bluffton, Nectar's, The Oyster House, an The Cottage. We are snow birds, so what we value in our winter travels, consists of comfortable and private lodgings, good food, good libraries and galleries, good movies, quiet, and beauty. And celebrations like the Gullah festival on Hilton Head during Black History Month.

All we have is platitudes to share. Suffice to say the owners accurately described the property. There were a few minor issues that arose ( how could there not as we stayed a month). The were quickly taken care of by the owners. Thank you for sharing your villa with us.

The views are just awesome!!! Saw many manatees / dolphins / and even alligators swim right in front of your porch. Unit was very clean when we arrived. The owners were a breeze to work with. Lots of water toys right there in Shelter Cove …. Try the CraigCats, they are a blast. You need to add this one to your HHI list.

The owners were TERRIFIC! We loved the property, the location so close to the Harbor, yet far enough that we didn't hear the noise. The atmosphere of the resort is family friendly. We rented bikes and had a great time riding all the way to the beach and all around the resort. We hope to come back again and we will look for this property first!

Location is everything! Can watch the Sheltor Cove fireworks from the balcony. A fantastic place to stay and great communication from the owners. Highly recommend!!

A great location and very nice property, the unit was neat, clean and well apportioned. We had great weather the week we were there, what more can you say!!!

As all the reviews note, the views are wonderful, with the marsh on one side and the marina on the other. The furniture is very comfortable - we especially enjoying sitting in the two swivel chairs with our morning coffee and watching the bird activity. The villa is clean and very well appointed, with enough of the basics (toilet paper, soap, etc) to get you going the first couple of days. Shops and restaurants in the marina are just a few steps away, and many more shops and restaurants are walkable or a very short drive away. There is an underpass that allows you to walk to Palmetto Dunes without crossing the highway, which makes a nice morning walk. Or, it's a short drive over to the beach at Palmetto Dunes if you're lugging beach chairs and a cooler. The owner was very responsive to questions that we had.

Great view of the harbor from almost every room in the condo. It was certainly well equipped with everything you would need to enjoy your stay. In general communication with the owner was good but did not inform us of the roof repair project on the building until a few days before checking in. Enjoyed our stay.
