The host, Jennifer, is absolutely amazing. She is very responsive and the home is very clean, well located and we made ourselves at home immediately. We would definitely go back to this home again.

Our stay in JENNIFER’s house was perfect. The description of the house is very accurate and I believe that it is even nicer. The garden is beautiful and it gives the house a very special atmosphere. Jennifer was always prompt to answer any doubts we had. Thank you. I can imagine enjoying the house in a warmer time of the year: beach, bbq and swimming pool. I might have to try this!

A modern, clean, well-appointed house with everything you'd need for a fantastic and zen-filled vacation. The tranquility of gazing skyward at the beautiful landscape from the hot tub/pool might just be the meaning of life. Swimming, fireplace, grill, bikes, beach stuff – basically all you need in great condition to enjoy the natural splendor of Shelter Island.

This was our second stay in this home and it did not disappoint. Clean, well appointed home and on a lovely street on Shelter Island. Jennifer is a great host and her home is fantastic. Looking forward to returning!

Very comfortable home, convenient to most of what you need while on the island. Rear deck/yard/pool provide a great option for those times when you want to stay at home. The home is well prepared to be your ‘home away from home’.

Jennifer’s place is a dream! It was the perfect rental for my husband and I and our two year old. Very child friendly and safe, which was appreciated. The house is lovely and decorated in a way that is calming but not overwhelming with things a toddler could break. Great amenities. Hopefully we can come back some time when the weather is nice and we can use the pool!

Although we always try to leave a home as clean and tidy as when we arrive, we felt so endeared to your hospitality we talked as a family how to keep things nice, avoid cup rings on wooden pieces, watch for any issues, add to your shell collection on the front porch railing, leave a few things for the freezer and pantry! Thank you for having thought of all of the little things which a family might need in the kitchen, we loved cooking and eating together in your well stocked (essentials and spices and gadgets and more!) It was a restful and healing stay for us. We all enjoyed the pool and, especially I, the hot tub, so relaxing and such a treat to be outdoors a little longer this season. Jennifer's house is lovely in every way, elegantly simple, thoughtfully designed and in excellent working order. It was a delight to be there for ten days. I highly recommend this property.

Hi we traveled as a family of four adults (including grandparents) and our two children ages 6 and 2.5yrs old) in the month of July 2021. We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to recommend this property to others. Our kids had the best time at the pool and hot tub area and in the garden. The house was very clean, had everything you needed and was very cozy and comfortable as well. Its a great option for a quiet family vacation and traveling with small children. We may be biased because Shelter Island holds a special place in our hearts but the house and surrounding grounds were beautiful and held their own. We are really thankful for being able to stay there and would love to return!

This property is so beautiful and peaceful. The pool and hot tub are wonderful. The house is very nicely decorated with lots of cute touches. We had awful weather, but made the most of it. The home has all you need.

We had a great time at this house. Shelter island is beautiful and the house is located near the end of a quiet street. It has a large private yard and a wonderful pool and spa. You are on a neighborhood street but it feels very private. Jennifer was very nice and helpful with any questions we had. We would go back if the opportunity arrises.

We had a great time at the house. The pool and hot tub are great, and they heat up fairly quickly. The bedrooms are nice, as are the bathrooms. The living room is comfortable with lots of games available. We liked the availability of pool floats and bikes. The location is also great. The one downside was the electric stove/oven. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time at the house and would definitely rent it again!

The newly renovated house was clean and beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. The grounds around the house were equally as beautiful with a large wooded front yard with fire pit and swing, and a large backyard with a gorgeous pool and hot tub. My family included 8 year old twins, a couple of 19 year olds, and 4 adults and there was something for everyone including books and toys for the smaller ones, and a great pool house where the teens could have their privacy. The house is walking distance to the local ice cream store, and very close to the ferry, Sunset Beach (Crescent Beach) and the supermarket. It was a perfect vacation for all. The owner was very helpful and responsive as well. We can't wait to go back!

We stayed with another couple and had a 4y, 3y and 1y old with us. The house is newly renovated and everything is in top notch shape. It is child friendly and the pool and jacuzzi are just the right size. We loved the outdoor fire pit and watched fire flies in the evening will grilling marshmallows. The house is very close to Sunset Beach (Crescent Beach) and a short drive to the supermarket. The owner is very responsive and friendly, and answered within the hour. We will be back!

We loved our stay at this location, which was perfect for three adults and two older teens. Amazing pool / hot tub area, with tons of pool toys and a wonderful yard for games. The house is bright, cheerful and very clean, and feels modern yet cozy. Everything feels new or very well maintained. The owner is very responsive, and the instructions / recommendations very thorough. Families with small kids in Shelter Island may find the dining options a bit expensive - not a problem if you're willing to cook, which we did most nights in the gas grill. Overall, a great house and highly recommended!

The nicest owner and super friendly. Our first time renting a house with my husband and toddler. They made it worth the 3hr drive from NYC. Didn't even know there is a huge strawberry farm in Long Island. We rented the house with 2 couples and they all enjoyed the pool and the whole house. The light up pool and the jacuzzi was our favorite. The grill was nice and big , we cooked 50% of the days. It was solo much fun being there and listening to music outside while playing batminton and volleyball ( we brought our own net). Over all great price and worth every penny.
