location was fantastic

the lady in the flat underneath was very rude, constantly complaining about us making a noise. We wore slippers in the flat at all times and did not stamp about. she complained about us getting up in the night to use toilet (we did not use the flush at night) she even waited for us in the lift when she heard us leave the flat to complain to us. She would bang on the ceiling at all hours. it is impossible to make no noise when moving about the flat. I would not book this flat again because of her and I would not recommend it to anyone else. We came to Torre for a relaxing holiday, unfortunately she did spoil our stay which is a shame as we loved the location.

Superb location and comfortable apartment. Facilities were fully adequate with sufficient items in kitchen and a pleasant modern bathroom. Handy for beach, excellent restaurants and supermarkets. Beach in Torre del Mar is long with plenty areas for sunbathing. It can get busy at weekends though, which is as expected. Seventh floor apartment so we had great views over beach and promenade. Balcony had table and 4 chairs so a reasonable size. Picture added shows apartment block from the beach.

The air con is only in the lounge and so the bedroom could get uncomfortable at night. I'm not convinced it worked that well in the lounge either. However overall this didn't spoil our stay at and we may well stay there again, but ideallyI would prefer the air con updated.

We arrived in the apartment to find inside cleaned to an acceptable standard but when we opened the balcony door we found that the balcony had not been cleaned for some time, sun hardened bird droppings everywhere. WhatsApp the letting company only to be told it had been cleaned and to expect this as there were a lot of birds about. It took 45 minutes of cleaning with boiling water, mop, scourer and scraper to get rid of the unhygienic mess that was all over the big table, floor and railings. We never used the far end of the balcony as we couldn't it cleaned.

The location was excellent.

I gave the apartment a 9 because there was no smoke alarm or fire blanket in the apartment.

It’s position. Proximity to paseo Marítimo, restaurants and shops. View from the balcony. Comfortable bed.

Could do with an update. A lot of the accumulated clutter in the cupboards needs removing. T.V. sound quality very poor. Cheap toaster and kettle. We had to defrost the freezer compartment in the fridge.

Location was excellent

We felt the kitchen needed updated. There was a small fridge with a little freezer compartment in it which was unusable because it was iced up. There was no kettle so we had to go back to rental company who purchased one that afternoon but we had to return to their office later to pick it up. We also asked them if we could have more towels as they had left only 2 hand and 2 bath towels. There was no change of bedding for our 2 week stay, never had this problem hiring anywhere before.
