Could hear people walking about upstairs - not a problem for us but noticeable.

The decor was nice.

Property had a lot of water damage from roof top including damp, peeling paint and even mould in the bedroom, On booking through the app no where said it was up on second floor. There was 3 flights of stairs to walk up. Finally the guests in other flat directly below was smoking weed and we sadly had to leave early because when we told the hosts, all they said was we'll pass it on to management on Monday. So our weekend was ruined. Not a single bit of refund offered for the inconvenience that the hosts cannot act straight away to problems with neighbours. The floors were sloping, property damaged as you can see in photos and smelling fridge. Car parking is not safe at all.

This apartment is ideal for a long-term family stay. It had everything you needed and even more. A welcome basket with fruits and sweets was waiting for us. There were also some foods and spices. Perfect cleanliness. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and lots of towels. Very comfortable beds and the sofa was very comfortable to sleep on. The apartment fully corresponds to the description. Modern appliances and even an air dryer. Excellent location in a quiet street. The owner was always in touch and quickly answered our questions. The vacation was great!

The Greyfriars apartment we stayed in was great - it is spacious, clean and has everything you require... If you are arriving with a young family - having a fully furnished kitchen, washing machine, dish washer, a main bathroom with a bath, an ensuite bathroom, plenty of towels as well as great Wi-Fi makes this booking a "no-brainer" and stress-free... The location is equally fantastic, within minutes walking distance from the beach, the pier, the main streets with numerous local shops, restaurants and takeaways... The dedicated parking space is really convenient too, especially during the summer peak period... Our host was very courteous and polite, providing clear and detailed instructions on entry and exit, as well as being on hand for any other questions or requirements... The complementary water, soft drinks and fruit was also very welcome and a testament to their great service and dedication... We had a great time in Clacton and this Greyfriars apartment played a major part in creating such a wonderful time and experience... Many thanks again Greyfriars team.

We stayed in the ground floor flat and for us it was too light in the bedrooms in the morning during the summer... It would have been useful to have some curtains in addition to the blinds...

The location of the property was amazing. The beach was practically a minute away. It was clean and spacious.

Didn’t like the fact the check in was 5pm which I thought was quite late. We also, didn’t have hot water in the bathrooms which was quite annoying given you wanted a decent shower after being at the beach the whole day.

Close to seafront and shops and transport. nice apartment and comfortable, nice to have two bathrooms.

People walking around noisily upstairs late at night.

Amazing place for family weekend evan with 2 toddlers, lots of space, kitchen with apartment helps you cook what you like if you try save some money with those days. View for the sea priceless.

Lovely handy spot for many amenities Nice open plan and roomy

Squeeling water pipes every time we flushed toilet or used tap. No hooks to hang dressing gowns up etc . Could do with one on toilet door and bedroom door.
