We visited Lisbon for the first time for New Years 2024 and were delighted with our accommodation at Casa Almada. The apartment was exactly as advertised and we couldn't have asked for a more comfortable stay for our family of five plus two extras. The host was always responsive to our queries and requests; she made transfer from the airport straightforward and there was an employee on site to welcome us and show us around the flat. The location was terrific, very close to the cathedral and popular tram route 28, also a short walk to the castle and the Praca do Comercio. Some nice touches included a selection of really great wines that guests could choose to purchase (at very reasonable prices). Although there was no elevator to the fourth floor, it wasn't really a problem and Lisbon is so hilly anyhow that some exercise is unavoidable and it would be churlish to bemoan the absence of a lift. There isn't much I would change about the property. If I was being picky, I'd recommend more board games, maybe extra coffee pods, extra blankets for when the heating turns off overnight (but that can probably be adjusted). In summary, I would happily stay there again if visiting with a party of five or more people.

We loved everything about this property- clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Perfect for a large family. All the amenities were modern and new. Centrally located and the property managers were extremely responsive and helpful. I recommend this place 100%!!

The apartment is in a great location with the #28/12 trolley stop around the corner, Lisbon Cathedral a 3 minute walk away and a grocery store only a short walk down the street. The amenities in the apartment are great (as described); it is well appointed with nice touches to make the living space very comfortable. Check in was wonderful as someone was at the building to greet us and take us through the apartment. Security is easy and reassuring. It was very quiet at night and the skylights and windows allowed ample light in the day. Be warned that the apartment is on the 3rd floor so you need to be able to manage stairs (which was no problem for us). Communication with the owner was seamless and prompt. It is a great apartment for two/three couples or a family. I would stay in this apartment again.

What a fantastic apartment in a great location! Everything from the initial reservation to all the information Susan provided us about Lisbon was perfect. The apartment is clean, spacious and well decorated. It has everything you need. The modern amenities such as the digital controls for the lights and blinds, while keeping the character and charm of the apartment is a very nice touch. We were two couples in our 50s and 60s and were able to walk everywhere and enjoy all Lisbon had to offer. Thank you Susan! We had a wonderful time!

This property was ideal for our time in Lisbon. We (husband, adult sons and self) had privacy and plenty of space. The apartment was immaculate and well-equipped with very comfortable beds, good sitting and dining spaces, lovely decor, and good security features both at building entrance and upstairs at the flat. Susan’s communications before our arrival were detailed, and she was available to answer questions during our stay.

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, beautiful property within walking distance to historical attractions, shopping, and great restaurants. Property managers was extremely responsive and accommodations were perfect. The property is even nicer in person than shown in the pictures. Bear in mind the apartment is on the top floor (no elevator), so plan accordingly.

This was a family trip for us all, we had such a great time, we will look to be back one day.....thank you Susan!

Beautiful top floor spacious apartment- centrally located, open and airy, modern and comfortable. Our part of four had plenty of space, with room to spare. We had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. The check-in process with Joao was very helpful - he was very knowledgeable, energetic and friendly. I would highly recommend staying with Susan at this property or one of her other properties. She has the process down to a science!

The apartment was in the most ideal location and close to all attractions and points of interest. The apartment was clean to the highest specification and the rooms were lovely and spacious. They decor was beautiful and Susan has clearly thought of all her guests needs. Our expectations were met and beyond! This is a great apartment for groups of families and/ or friends. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der großen und toll gelegenen Wohnung von Susan. Bei kleinen Problemen mit dem Türcode wurde uns innerhalb von Minuten geholfen und es löste sich schnell. Die Einrichtung ist toll ausgewählt und es gibt liebevolle Details zum Wohlfühlen, wie Shampoo, viele Handtücher, tolle Bettwäsche, Netflix, Alexa und vorbereiteten Wein/Kaffee und Popcorn:) Sehr zu empfehlen!

The 5 of us had a fantastic stay at Susan’s spacious apartment. The area is lively but her building is tucked away on a side street. There are great restaurants just out the door and a nice grocery store a few blocks away. The 28 tram stops right around the corner. We would stay there again for sure. But be warned, it’s a 4th floor walk up meaning not for the faint of heart.

Very cool flat with great location, super fast communication and well prepared all the step of the process. Lots of help and additional information as well, and well equipped with all cool tech and amenities.

This is a 5 star quality apartment. Susan was incredibly efficient and helpful. It's a great location. It's quiet and the bedding, furnishings, and equipment are top notch. We would stay here again and recommend highly to anyone.

The place is very nice - clean, roomy, and in an awesome location. Susan is an excellent host.

Beautiful, spacious, and sun drenched. It exceeded our expectations and we loved the layout. The energy of the place and the big beds made our stay extremely comfortable! So much so that we enjoyed one of our nights staying in. We wish we extended. Location perfect. The communication and checkin was very hands on. I would definitely stay here again — all the amenities you need. No elevator, but this top floor apt is worth the climb :)

Wonderful apartment in Lisbon, close to St George Castle. Easy to walk to surrounding areas and to take trams and the metro around town. The apartment has great amenities and was perfect four our family, including two small kids.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Susan's apartment. We found it very well situated, in walking distance of many tourist attractions with the famous tram 28 going by the building every day. The apartment was very well equipped with one of the most comfortable beds we have ever had on our holidays. As a group of 6, there was plenty of space for everybody to relax after a busy day around the town. Joao, who introduced us to the apartment was extremely helpful and went through the apartment with us and some of the ideas what to do or see in Lisbon. We all would highly recommend the place.

The location was fantastic close to everything for a city break. Lots of cafes, restaurants, and shopping. We were close to the tram, metro, and train station. We planned a couple of day trips out of the city. It was so easy to get around. Definitely will be back for another visit.

The location in the heart of old town Lisbon on a quite street that makes for very easy access to everything. Suzan's location on the 4 floor is a three bedroom suite that is understated in elegance and practicality. Creating from a deceptively simple space the perfect spot. Nothing has gone unattended. The kitchen and amenities are all in place with the beautiful sunshine of window light everywhere. Congrats to Suzan and her team for this creation. A perfect location with a perfect accommodation is hard to find anywhere. We are at her location in porto now and more on that later. Aside from incredible space, Suzan and her team were always available to us to answer questions and help with our visit in responsive and efficient way that was exceptional. I have personally stayed at many luxury accommodations and this one is at the top of the list for sure.

The amenities and attention to detail in this apartment was amazing. Everything was well thought-out with everything you could possibly need from your stay including umbrellas and universal wall plugs! I love ritual products and was happily surprised that they had carried them as well! This truly is a luxury residence. The views from the windows in the living room and master bedroom were great for pictures of Lisbon's colorful buildings, red rooftops, trams passing by, and you're also able to see the "not" San Francisco bridge in the back. The location was perfect as its in the middle of everything and within walking distance to great food options, supermarkets, and transportation. Communication with the host for any trouble shooting and assistance was easy and quick. Based on this stay, I would definitely consider the host's other residences for future travel plans within/outside of Portugal.

A brilliant stay at Casa Almada. From the moment we arrived everything was laid out for us as arrived late. The communication and information about the area was brilliant. The apartment is in a brilliant location close to lovely restaurants and ideally close to a supermarket which is needed when travelling with kids. The apartment is so spacious, clean and has everything that any family would want. The games room was a real hit as was the popcorn maker! Thanks so much Susan for a brilliant stay and we will definitely be back.

The attention to detail is something to be admired in this stunning apartment, great location, and the most comfortable stay I've had in a very long time. It was also a seamless process when dealing with the lovely owner Susan. Will be back for sure!!! 10/10
