Our really friendly and helpful host made us all fell very welcome. We really appreciated the flexibility shown to help accommodate our dog. Also a top recommendation for dinner!

We stayed for a night with family in 2 rooms. Host let us check in early on request which was kind on their part. There were a couple of issues with one of the rooms, but the host was so prompt at fixing these. Five star service!! Home cooked bfast in the morning was really good.

Just a couple of issues that host could have noticed before we checked in.

Very nice guest house and very friendly owner. The owner didn’t mind our dogs, but we had to put them in our car when we had breakfast, as they aren’t allowed in dining area (fair enough), and they aren’t allowed to be left in room while we had breakfast. We paid £6 extra per dog, per night. Lovely location, comfy room and bed.. pub next door.. we would go back.

You must stay here beautiful views, cosy, warm, clean room and very lovely owners. Highly recommended. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Nothing to dislike

The rooms are beautiful and the bed is comfortable. The tea and coffee facilities are fine and the breakfasts are done very nicely.

The TV is tiny and the reception for the TV isn't the greatest. It can get a little too warm in the rooms but the windows can be opened

The location was excellent, close to a wonderful tiny pub.

The location was perfect. We had our own space which made it extremely comfortable. Area was quiet and the location was easy to find. We felt welcomed and the service was great. The accommodation was clean and would go back.

The check in wasn't clear and we were running later than expected. However this was sorted out after a call.

Very friendly welcoming showed us were everything was. Philip was experienced at meet and greet being a trained chef, we never met his wife which was a shame. Big window in our bedroom looking onto a paddock with horses and black rams and every morning 0600 rams baa and baaa to be let out to graze. My wife and I enjoyed this break very much. If we are all still here next year we will see them again.

It’s like everything in this world, upkeep, maintenance all need to be done and there’s not enough time in the day to do it. Unless you can afford to pay people to do it all. He will get there if he loves doing DIY organisation is the key to success here.
