The cabin was in a fantastic location- quiet, beautiful scenery and it was equipped with everything we needed. Comfortable beds, cosy lounge and interesting Kestrel themed decorations. The book of instructions is very detailed which was helpful. It would also be nice to have a book of recommendations of local things to do -hikes, cafes etc. Watching the birds on the feeder was delightful and the swing was a nice addition. The countryside is stunning and we enjoyed hiking.

It was a shame that the BBQ is not allowed but understandable!

lovely little lodge, rural and very scenic great for our little family trip

A little cabin of comfort & tranquility away from the stresses of everyday life. prosecco, coffee & logs awaiting our arrival. All the little amenities that are a pain to take away with you were provided (salt, pepper, sugar, tea etc). Hidden away surrounded by fields & mountains but near enough to drive into little towns and nearby walks.

Everything….the views are some of the nicest we have even experienced on holiday. To be able to relax and look out at that view was beautiful. We loved our time at the cabin and it was a perfect base for exploring the area

Everything about the place. Although very hot and cold in the mornings. Beautiful views and peaceful setting. Perfect for couples or family with older children. The surrounds and local beaches are beautiful.

Safety for my 2 year old and facilities for her. Unfortunately I wouldn’t say it’s child friendly. Would have been lovely to have some comfortable outside chairs out the back to sit when it’s hot. Maybe a parasol? Love a bbq, so a little disappointed we couldn’t have one. One reason why we stay in these kind of places. Next time we would come when our daughter is older or just me and my partner. The children were bored when back at the cabin. Maybe an air conditioner?

Old period feel and look was great touch. Space was great also, you could easily live there in that space.

Driveway if you had 2 cars you would need to reverse down the tight drive down hill but I was pleased to have a space.

Location very peaceful, perfect to get away from it all. The cabin was cosy and well stocked with appliances and basic food items to set us up for the weekend.

It got very hot when the sun shone, we kept the doors open all day. A fan was available had we needed it!

Very comfortable, clean and well decorated. location was excellent for nearby towns, sites and walks.

Great stay. Lovely log cabin. Excellent amenities. Spectacular nature. Loved the welcome wine 🥰. Made us feel special 😍. Clear guidance. Overall worthy for money.

Better if a good toileteries too are provided.
