We arrived on Saturday to thunderstorms and power outages, however the home generator ran for over 24 hours, keeping us comfortable. Unfortunately, due to Hurricane/Storm Debbie and impending poor weather, we left for home on Tuesday evening/Wednesday morning. We enjoyed a pontoon boat on Monday, and would have loved to enjoy more of the beautiful home and location, especially the lake-maybe next time! The house was beautiful-

The house was very nice. From the moment we pulled into the driveway the property met our expectations. My family and friends stayed during spring break and we had a fantastic experience. The home was clean with great common areas and kid friendly game room. The office came in very handy for me as I still had work to do on vacation. We had fires every night at the fire pit and made full use of the boat house for dock fishing and parking our boat. We would stay again and I would recommend this to others.

We really enjoyed swimming and fishing off the dock, coffee on the screened in porch and a bonfire on our last night. The location was perfect for boating and swimming.

This was our second year, and despite mother nature trying to ruin it with rain and cooler temps, we still had an amazing time. The house is beautiful, comfortable and offers numerous fun activities. But the highlight to me is always the boathouse and dock. Perfect waters for swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking and fishing. I found myself many times just sitting on the dock completely relaxed and enjoying the amazing water view. We plan to be back next year. Thanks for sharing your home with us again!

This is a huge and beautiful property. It accommodated 14 persons comfortably. The family loved the openness of the house and the view. The only thing that caused a little snip was the weather but we turned it around and made it our pajama day. There were enough bathrooms so that no one was late for our 9:00am take off for our homegoing service. Everyone said that they loved the property. There were a couple of minor nicks but the property manager assured me that they would be taken care of. Property manager was very responsive and nice.

Our multi-generation extended family gathered at Sunrise Cove for a week of fun. The house was perfect for us. The dock and cove are great for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. The boards and kayak were provided by the owners and were appreciated. We rented a boat and tied up to the dock - worked well. The refrigerator on the dock was nice and allowed us to keep beverages and snacks handy. The house was spacious and the long table allowed family game nights. We especially enjoyed the screened porch for morning coffee. The kitchen was well stocked. The owners were great to work with and the property manager was helpful. We felt at home and welcomed! Fabulous home! I get like I was in my own home. Owners have everything you need.
Our family’s first get together with Al of our children and grandchildren. It was perfect for everyone. Plenty of rooms and beds. We cooked the entire time we were there and owners had everything you needed. Dock and boat house were great to jump off of dock into deep water and tie up our floats and kayaks. Nice lift for my husbands kayak and space for the pontoon boat.

Amazing Weekend
The house is gorgeous and in a great location. Convenient to the main lake but sheltered from most of the boat traffic. The house was perfect for what we were looking for to have a fun relaxing weekend getaway. Boathouse and dock were awesome. Caught several bass, catfish and other fish from the dock. And many cannonballs into the deep water off the end of the dock. House was clean and appointed with just about everything we needed. And the welcome gift basket was a very nice touch. We definitely plan to be back at Sunrise Cove next year!

Beautiful house and lake view!
We all (ages 30 to 84) enjoyed our time at Sunrise Cove! The house is beautiful and you can tell the owners spent a lot of time on the "extras" that turn a good VRBO rental into a great one! Little things like a charging station downstairs for your electronics, speakers to play music down on the boat dock, a fully stocked kitchen, and more. We fished off the dock, kayaked in the cove, and spent a few evenings enjoying the fire pit. If you are looking for a nice place at the lake, this is it! Owners and Property Manager were great to deal with. Highly recommend!

Christmas in October
We chose to celebrate Christmas early this year because schedules and weather often mess us up. None of my family had ever stayed at the lake. They fell in love! This home is beautiful and fully equipped. It was spotless. The quiet cove is perfect for floating and kayaking. We hope to go again next year.

Great spot on the lake
The home is in a great spot on the lake, It's in a wide cove, but not to long, so you have short run to the main lake. But, at the same time a prefect place of lounging in the water or swimming because not many boats go into this cove. The home is beautiful, and you'll love reading all the signs throughout the house.

Gaston lake waterfront home
Great house with big bedrooms and plenty of space for a big family trip. Kitchen fully stocked with all necessities to cook with. Great dock with kayak and standing board and tons of life jackets. Plus wood for the fire pit. We had a great time

This house was amazing for our vacation. It was clean and had Everything that we needed it. Amazing lake view from house fire pit and boat house was what we liked a lot. House is at great location at Gaston lake. Our staying was so good and didn’t have any problem. I recommend everyone this house without any hesitations

Sunrise Cove
The home was beautiful but the upkeep was not as clean as it should have been. Spider webs everywhere inside & out, food stains/stains all over cabinets & walls throughout the home that could have & should have been wiped up. Gas grill was so filthy & full of grease that even after we clean the top of the grill it caught on fire because of the buildup of grease under the bottom inside of the grill. It burned our food causing us more money. There was a blanket/towel left on the family room sofa that appeared to have dried up vomit on it. The cleaning crew didn’t do well with cleaning. Again, the overall cleanliness of the beautiful home was not as clean as it should have been.

Awesome house
The house was exactly as advertised and fit all 8 of us comfortably. It had plenty to do inside if the weather wasn't cooperating outside. The check in process and communication was second to none. Great location right on the lake with a boat house with storage. Owners always reply to any questions within a few hours. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Spot!
We loved the house and property! It was very comfortable for our group. We appreciated being able to dock our boat and use the kayaks. Our only criticism is that the pantry and refrigerator had crumbs and spills that were not cleaned up prior to our arrival. A quick wipe down took care of that. If you plan on cooking a lot, you may want to bring sharp knives and serving platters. Very nice! Beautiful sunrises.

Family Vacation
We really enjoyed our stay at Sunrise Cove. The house is well equipped and the location was great. The only thing I could say is the screen porch was covered with cobwebs and needed a spring cleaning, but it did not stop us from having a great time.

Beautiful cove with main lake views
Beautiful well equipped home. We really enjoyed the deep water cove with main lake views from the dock. We got a lot of use out of stand up paddle board. The fire pit was great and fire wood was provided which was very convenient and appreciated. Little welcome gift was a great touch and we loved the little packet which changed the color of the fire. My only complaint was the construction next door Monday thru Friday which we were not aware of and the garbage pail not being large enough for a weeks stay. I needed to take my additional garbage with me upon check out. Still a great property and would definitely rent again. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us.

We will be back!
This was a perfect house for our family getaway. Very spacious and great little accommodations such as a vert sweet welcome basket. So much extra fun included like paddle boards and kayaks, indoor games and an awesome flat backyard with fire pit and chairs! We brought our boat and had a blast on the water and the ease of it all was priceless. The bonus room was perfect for my teenage sons....an awesome room tucked away with TV, games and beds- they loved it! We will rent this house again and again. The owners are very friendly and easy to communicate with, which only makes everything even easier. THANK YOU for a great get away!

Best Thanksgiving ever!
My husband and I were married last November...the week before Thanksgiving. This year, we decided to find a way to bring both sides of our immediate family together for Thanksgiving so that we would both get the opportunity to spend it with loved ones. Our family are spread out across multiple states so the challenge was real. Finding a central location for us all to meet seemed like the only option. Enter...VRBO...and Sunrise Cove!!! The location was perfect! And the property was just absolutely gorgeous!!!! We had 10 adults and 3 children that slept and lived comfortably in this house for one week. I literally have no complaints. And the ease of booking and preparing was made so by the ease of communication with the property owners. The property manager even stopped by to check on us and to make sure we knew where everything was and how everything worked. She was very nice and also made herself available via phone throughout the week in case we had any questions. The family gathering on Thanksgiving Day was awesome, and will hopefully be the first of many to come. Maybe even right back here at Sunrise Cove. If you’re contemplating this property for your vacation or gathering...hesitate no more. Book it and enjoy!

Perfect place
We wanted a great place to have a 3 generation mini vacation. Sunrise Cove exceeded our expectations. The location was exactly what we were looking for. Right on the lake, in a quiet but large cove with all the water toys supplied. The kids had a great time with the kayaks and paddleboard, large float right off the dock and swimming. The house was fantastic-large enough for everyone to have their own space with room to be together for meals and games. The kitchen was furnished with everything we needed and very updated. Having access to 3 refrigerators was ideal. The property provided everything we were looking for and we had a wonderful time making memories to last a lifetime. I didn’t want to leave and hope to go back again. The pictures are good but being there is so much better.

Perfect Vacation
My family was looking for something different option from going to the beach but still wanted to be on the water. This was the perfect solution and our stay here couldn’t have been better. The house was clean and ideally located on the lake. We would definitely consider coming back.

Great Family Vacation
The house was simply amazing. It was large enough for everyone (we had 6 adult family members) to have space but still feel close. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare our meals. The beds were comfortable. Everyone enjoyed the dock, from fishing to sunbathing. The dock had a great sound system, good lighting, a refrigerator to allow for drinks at the dock without having to drag a cooler to the dock. The kayaks and paddle board were used everyday. One day of rain but with the beautiful large windows on the back made for a wonderful view of the rain on the water. Even "stuck" inside during the rain, we were able to not be on top of each other and enjoy the day. Definitely would go back! So hard to leave at the end of our stay.

A FANTASTIC house and place to vacation - five stars are not enough!
The house is beautiful! Well designed and appointed, it is perfect for probably any vacation ideas you may have. It sits on the west side of a VERY nice cove so the afternoon sun is not an issue. This makes hanging out on the dock at the end of the day or evening much more comfortable.
Everything about the house is excellent; the layout, bedroom sizes, beds, bathrooms, kitchen, screened porch, deck, garage, and the dock is especially well done. The owners have provided for pretty much everything you need. If there is something missing, it was not something we were looking to use, and we are kind of high maintenance travelers. They are also very responsive to any questions you might have.
We brought a boat and used it daily. The lake is a great boating environment and getting on and off the dock is very easy and accessible. There is a public boat ramp about 12 minutes from the house (both boating and driving time). The boathouse/dock is designed to be a place to spend your leisure time in the sun or shade and we did spend a lot of time enjoying it. The wide cove provides both a perfect view and setting.
We rent vacation houses a couple of time a year for one or more weeks per stay and this is by far the best house we have stayed in and we have rented some very nice houses. If you are looking for a "feels like home" experience with a double-splash of luxury, this is the house you want to rent.
We'll close with a couple of "dining" notes. If you like NY style pizza, try Casa Mia's in Littleton proper, and Lake Gaston Pizza makes a near classic Philly cheesesteak if you are a fan of those.
