We chose this property as the base for our Fathers Day trip to the mountains. Right from the initial enquiry, the host was quick to respond and really welcoming and helpful. The house itself was really well presented, everything you'd need as a group or a family. The log burner was a real bonus too. By far the biggest star however is the incredible 180 degree views of Queenstown's mountains from the lounge. We loved our stay and we're already talking about booking again for next year. Everything about this place was bang on. Fantastic service from the hosts and great communication from the time we booked to arriving. It was very nice and cosy after spending the day on the slopes and the view from the balcony is stunning. Housed 5 mid 30's people very easily. Thank you so much!!

First of all the view of the Remarks and the lake is even better than the pictures can show, even at night when all the lights come on across the lake. The communication with Cheli regarding arrival and check out was excellent and we were never left wondering what to do. The house has everything you could need to spend your holiday there, and the place is so clean and warmed by all of the heaters and the fireplace. Would absolutely stay again (forever if I could!), highly highly recommend!

Lovely views, comfortable living spaces, good beds. The kitchen has everything you need for self catering. The driveway looks challenging, but we had no problems at all getting up and down in our people mover vehicle, even in icy conditions. It was great to have a fireplace, and the heating systems made for a cosy stay. Communication with host was efficient and response time very quick. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in Queenstown at Cheli’s property. Cheli was extremely communicative and always responsive to messages and we appreciated her allowing us access a couple hours earlier at check in. The beds are toasty, the fireplace heated up the whole place beautifully, the kitchen had all necessary appliances plus extra bits eg oil, cling wrap, sauces etc, which is so appreciated when travelling through. Fully equipped laundry was helpful. Location is perfect - just out of the hustle and bustle of town but close to everything. We shopped at Frankton which is only about a 6-8 min drive, and we cooked many meals at the house whilst taking in the view! Walking to town is about 20 min, driving is 6 min. A number of times we ubered to the CBD ($12 NZD each way) due to the traffic in town and lack of (free) parking options. The property is up a steep driveway but once you master it, the rewards at the top are incredible! We woke to snow on The Remarkables a couple of mornings which was a dream to see! We also were in town during the Aurora Australis which we saw from the balcony and the ANZAC Day dawn service which made our trip extra special. On day 2 we discovered the dart board in the garage and it became part of our daily routine to have a family dart competition! Thanks Cheli for hosting us. We hope to return one day. I definitely recommend this property for its location, comfort and views! We have taken home some wonderful memories from our 6 days in Queenstown 💛

Fantastic super clean house only 2 mins drive into town. Gorgeous views from lounge of the Queenstown hills and lights. Parking in garage was super helpful. House was perfect especially with 2 bathrooms for our family holiday.

We had a wonderful experience from the start to finish of our week in this property. Our host, Cheli, was terrific! She was kind and helpful in every possible way. The property itself was immaculate, well-equipped, with absolutely breathtaking views. As we are in our seventies, we mostly relied on taking Queenstown cabs up and down to town. They were convenient and reasonably priced, so there was no problem with the elevated position . We unreservedly recommend this property.

This property was perfect for our family get-together, plenty of space, amazing views, great location! Couldnt have found a better spot. Will definitely be staying again next time we go to Queenstown. Cheli was extremely helpful and easy to deal with for check-in too! Thank you!

The property is super clean, they provide almost everything you need in short stay. Location is perfect. We did not needed to rent a car. Uber was very convenient for downtown trips. It has million dollar view. I was gone crazy to take pictures at different time of the day. Night (stars) photographs came out so perfect! I would definitely rent this place if I’m ever in Queenstown. We really appreciated host for everything they have done for us! Overall great place!

We throughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property. Had all the essentials and very clean and tidy. Communication with owners was exceptional and they were quick to respond. We’d definitely stay here again if we are ever back down in Queenstown.

This is a lovely house with a fantastic view over the lake. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment and we ate all our meals staring out over the lake with The Remarkables as a backdrop.

My family of 4 plus my parents thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Marcia's beautiful house. The view from the house is to die for and it is conveniently located. The house is very nicely laid out and immaculate. The kitchen could use a few more condiments, spices etc for proper cooking, but that would have been an added bonus if anything. Marcia was easy and lovely to communicate with. Thank you for the fabulous time.

Perfect place, super clean, well furnished including many pots and pans to cook with. We had our two boys with us and the place worked out well. Cheli was a great host and easy to get a hold of, your about 5-10 minutes to either downtown Queenstown or the market and places to eat. This property offers everything you need for a great stay in Queenstown. It offers amazing views of the Remarkables, Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding area. The accommodation is comfortable and well equipped. We also found the owner to be very receptive and helpful with any queries we had. Overall a very positive experience.

Highly recommend this place! Owner is super nice and approachable, and we loved everything about our stay! Clearly deserves the credits of being a superhost!! :) Driveway is steep, but the views from the house are stunning! Don’t miss out on those early sun rises! Taxi drive to city centre is about $25 for a 5 minute ride - but that’s just Queenstown.

A well presented and stocked home…we appreciate the provision of the little( but necessary) items that made our stay so much more comfortable. Wonderful views and well appointed furnishings capped off a really enjoyable family holiday…thanks to the thoughtfulness of the owners.

This property was more than it showed on the website. The little things like soap in the bathrooms, laundry liquid in the laundry and salt and pepper in the pantry made this a really easy place to stay. I highly recommend it.

So so so clean! Driveway is pretty darn steep, but you are rewarded with views. Bluetooth speaker, dart board and bike make a nice little bonus.
