Lake District Village Apartment
Das Hotel liegt im ruhigen Dorf Ullock mit über einem Hektar großen kultivierten Garten für Sie zu genießen, mit Teich und Packhorse Brücke. Private Autofahrt mit ausreichend Parkplätzen, Terrasse mit Blick auf das Tal, in der Nähe von Cockermouth und der unberührten, ruhigeren Seite der Seen. Loweswater ist nur eine Fahrt entfernt. Alles auf einer Ebene, gemütlich und warm, mit Gartenblick aus den Fenstern, ideal für die Vogelbeobachtung.
Die Eingangshalle führt in ein gemütliches Wohn- / Esszimmer mit Fenstern auf 2 Seiten einen Fernseher, DVD-Player und Radio, und die Küche ist komplett mit allen Elektrogeräten ausgestattet. Breitband ist auch vorhanden, und Bücher und Führer sind dort für Sie zu verwenden. Die volle Zentralheizung ist inbegriffen, um Sie an den kühleren Tagen warm zu halten.
Das Schlafzimmer hat 1 Doppelbett, Kleiderschrank und alle Bettwäsche ist im Preis inbegriffen. Wäscheservice ist vorhanden.

Just what we needed to get away from city life. Quiet location, well maintained grounds and fabulous hosts in Marion and John. Would we stay again......already looking at dates and looks like this will be out bolt hole moving forward as long as it is available.

Its a lovely, well thought out property. Use of a beautiful garden. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Nothing too much trouble for the owner's a very warm welcome.

My friend and I 70+ were attending a festival near by ( non music) and this delightful little annex to the main house was in a perfect location being just 3.4 miles from where we needed to be for three days. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and chocolate which was so welcoming after the long days. It was a chilly few days sitting in a large tent so coming back to a cosy, warm and peaceful home from home was delightful. Good shower, well supplied kitchen, private entrance and on site parking.

A lovely warm welcome from Marion and John to their cosy apartment in Ullock. Great location to explore the Western Lakes with a 10 min drive to Loweswater. Very peaceful and quiet, well equipped and comfortable. Beautiful garden for a morning coffee and fantastic array of bird life visiting the feeders. Would highly recommend for those wanting to explore this less busy side of the Lake District.

We loved it here! The owners were so lovely and always happy to give recommendations on places to visit. The apartment itself had everything we needed, and was decorated with lovely artwork. It was always really nice to come back from a busy day and chill out with something on TV, a board game or just to watch the birds outside. Speaking of the birds, there was so much wildlife to be seen from the windows! We came especially for the wildlife, being animal lovers, and we weren’t disappointed. So many lovely garden birds that we don’t often see at home, a pheasant and a sparrowhawk! We also caught a glimpse of a stoat and the beloved resident red squirrel! So we were very happy overall and we were sad to leave. We would absolutely love to come back again!! :)

We had a lovely stay in this nice, clean and fully equipped ground floor apartement with beautiful flowery garden. Watching birds and squirrels from the window. Good access to western lake district and sea shore. The welcoming hosts Marion and John gave us helpful tips for visiting the Lakes and Fells. Highly recommended!!

Lovely stay. Everything you could possibly need in a property. So homely and cosy. Gardens were beautiful. The perfect location for peace and quiet whilst being not far from plenty of things to do. Owners very welcoming and friendly.

We had a great 4 night stay here. The apartment had everything we wanted, and the lovely gardens were an added bonus. The location is ideal for visiting Buttermere, Loweswater and Ennerdale. Very friendly hosts and the wine and chocolates were much appreciated.

Within a few hours of meting the host,s they made you feel more like friends than guests.
The property is in a lovely small village but up there drive way that isolates you from the noise of the occasional vehicle.
The accommodation is superb with a lovely large garden which is great for sitting in with a drink and listening and watching the birds feed.
There are some very nice restaurants within a short drive.
If you are a walker or a driver there's some spatacular routes with beautiful views.
We are looking to book this Accommodation again in the future to enjoy it again.

The cottage was perfect and had everything we needed, located very close to the Wainwrights we needed to do, as well as some great coastal walking. Wonderful hosts, very attentive and helpful with our check in, extremely friendly. We really appreciated the little touches, milk, juice, wine, chocolate and biscuits, to see us started and settled well into our mini Easter break. Thank you so much for everything!

From arriving at the property to leaving, was a joy, a real home from home. John and Marion were wonderful hosts, pleasant and friendly and went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable, wanted for nothing, weather was not the best which in October is not to be expected but Treetops is a pleasant place to stay, will look forward to a return visit in the better climes so as to enjoy the gardens

We stayed at treetops for a few nights for our honeymoon. We mainly went out all day site seeing and hiking, Marion had the heating on for us when we arrived which was lovely. Marion and John was very accommodating and attentive. We ran into some car trouble when we was returning, Marion and John went out their way to help us and get us home. Thank you for a lovely stay

Lovely break away in a super little apartment. Lots of wildlife to be seen from the window and near to our favourite lakes Loweswater, Buttermere and Crummockwater. Very kind and thoughtful hosts with a lovely welcome package on the night of arrival. A very comfortable bed too!Thank you so much.

John and Marian were helpful and so well informed about their village and surrounding area. There were welcome treats on arrival and the gardens so inviting too. The bird feeders strategically placed to provide entertainment over breakfast. A lovely location in a friendly village.

My fiancé and I had an amazing time staying at the property. The property had everything we needed and was very cosy and comfortable. The gardens surrounding the property are beautiful. Marion and John were so helpful and welcoming, and were able to give us some useful suggestions for places to go/see in the local area. Nothing was too much to ask. We had such a perfect week in the Lake District, using this property as our base. Thank you both!

Marion and Jon were fantastic hosts. Loved the little extras especially the orange juice. Would definitely recommend this lovely place. Spent many an hour watching an abundance of birds on the feeders. Enjoyed visits from a hedgehog and even spotted a frog.

Wonderful apartment and welcoming hosts
The flat was perfect for what we wanted to do in the lake and surrounding areas, it’s situated in a brilliant spot and the village it is very quite and peaceful. Marion and John are one of the lovliest couples I’ve ever met and were more than happy to suggest places to go and see! I honestly fully recommend this as a break away.

Lovely Accommodation
What a lovely appartment in beautiful grounds. It was an ideal place to rest and relax and to explore the surrounding area. John and Marion were lovely hosts, always on hand if needed. Lovely welcome goodies waiting for us.
It was a real bonus to be able to see and watch such a great variety of birds (and hedgehogs) come to the feeders outside the window.

Lovely property and wonderful hosts
We had such a nice time at Treetops.
Everything was clean and tidy, with all the basics in the kitchen and the best view from the windows :)
Also, the hosts John and Marion are such a lovely people and so welcoming.

Lovely little flat
We had a lovely 3 night stay. It was mostly pretty wet weather but the flat was lovely and cosy, well equipped and Marion was very helpful.
Lovely little welcome gift too.
Only a ten minute drive to Cockermouth and a good base to explore the hills around Buttermere and Loweswater from.
