Can we rate 11? The apartment is great, the view, the sunny terrace, the surroundings in the middle of the countryside. We were allowed to pick our own fruit on the land. The kids had a great time exploring the area, constructing a "tree house" and petting the cats and sweet old dog.

Having to leave after only 3 nights. Recommend to stay longer!

The view from the large terrace was fantastic. We spent most of our time there. The flat was a decent size but maybe better for two people rather than 4, as we were. There was air con which made the temperature comfortable. There was off street private parking for free situated next to the building. There was a washing machine which was useful. The owner offered us to pick the cherries that were ripe. The area was very peaceful and relaxing.

We didn't realise that the accommodation was an upper floor flat accessed via a narrow metal outdoor spiral staircase. This was a problem for one of us who was not very mobile. The ceilings were quite low in places and easy to knock your head, not suited for tall people.

The host was very friendly and always available on the phone. He even provided us with a bag of juicy fruit from his garden. The place is very peaceful and quiet although sometimes difficult to reach as situated in a hilly region. You definitely need a car to get there. There is a beautiful view of a palm garden and friendly pets. The apartment is very clean and comfortable equipped with all the essentiall equipment, even a washing machine. I recommend the place.

Stay at this gem if you want to experience the true Sicilian countryside without losing any modern comfort. The property is set amidst an olive/citrus orchard and other fruit trees. The home’s landscaping is beautiful and meticulously maintained. Our place was on the second level and it has amazing views of vineyards, the countryside, the Mediterranean and sunset. Extremely clean modern and comfortable stocked with everything that we needed. Comfy bed and quiet at night. Nice washing machine in the unit. Free onsite parking. You do need a car to get to the house. However, it is a good home base if you are visiting either Selinunte or Agrigento. Lorenzo, his wife and son are warm, charming and thoughtful hosts. They respected our privacy but were always available for questions and assistance. They let us sample their freshly pressed olive oil, pickled olives, limoncello, and jam. During our stay, we observed the olive harvesting in their orchard and Lorenzo arranged for us to visit the olive oil processing plant at our request given that our stay was during the olive harvesting season. Their generosity and kindness truly made our visit to Sicily unforgettable. We hope we can go back and stay longer next time.

We disliked that we couldn’t live there permanently.
