Pros - The very best part of this hotel is the lovely terrace with a beautiful view of Lake Atitlán! The staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi was quite good, even on the terrace. Free access to drinking water was another big plus. It is located near the lake, 2 blocks from the dock for private ferries. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were strangely lumpy. I originally booked 4 nights, Monday-Friday. When I asked to stay Friday night as well, they were able to accommodate me in the same room for the same price per night (252 quetzales).

Cons - The bathroom was very small & moldy, with poor drainage in both the sink and the shower. When you take a shower, you will quickly be standing ankle-deep in dirty water. Hot shower water was available only in the evenings. They only take cash, no cards. I read this in the reviews ahead of time, and so came prepared. Due to a delay in my shuttle from Antigua, I arrived well after sunset. It would have been unpleasant to have to go wander in the dark through a town I don't know to find & make an ATM withdrawal.

Nicely decorated spacious room, friendly check in. It is very close to the lake and you have a beautiful lake view from the balcony. Safe neighborhood.

Beds very narrow and hard. Too small for two people. Only very thin blanket and it gets cold at night at lake atitlan!

Lovely hotel with really nice staff, the room was very spacious and they also had a lovely terrace on the roof overlooking the lake.

Very friendly staff. Very accomodating. The location is perfect just by the lake and the view of the lake from the terrace is splendid. The room is pleasant. Not the biggest but with a chair, a bench and a table so you can sort out your stuff. In addition the hotel has a very friendly Labrador

It can be a tiny bit noisy, especially the weekend, as you are the street and one of the shop really likes to put loud music (in our case it stopped around 11pm) . During our 3 days stay we didn't get any hot water which was a bit inconvenient

Friendly and helpful staff (gave us an umbrella when it rained). Nice rooftop terrace. Comfortable bed. Good location with a lot of restaurants nearby. All in all a really pleasant stay!

Loud at night (barking dogs, music,…), but I think you can’t avoid that in Panajachel. Wifi did not work sometimes.

The location, the room was nicely decorated and really clean. The view from the roof was lovely.

It was a little noisy....mainly lack of soundproofing...but for the price, it was excellent.

The location and the view of the lake from the terrace is awesome.

The hotel is cosy and the rooms really good for the price. The best are of course the terrasses with the seaview. The owners are super friendly and helpful. I also liked the free filtered water. We really enjoyed our stay in this place and can just recommend it.

After the laundry our clothes didn't smell anymore but still had all the stains. Also it is in an area with lots of crappy tourist stuff, but you only notice that when you go out of the hotel, inside it's a heaven.
