Lovely clean unit, just as viewed in profile. Great location and set up for home cooking but also lots of restaurants nearby. Shoal Bay is gorgeous and Nelson Bay nearby has lots more amenities but very busy

Good location. Easy check in and out. Only downfall was the mobile reception is next to nothing, unit needs a WiFi system. Also needs a lock on the bathroom door. Other than that I highly recommend it

Modern unit and very comfortable to live for a couple. BBQ, Washing Machine, Dryer... well equipped apartment.
The negative points are:
- Not enough kitchenware: medium/meat knifes, coffee spoons, fruit knifes.
- one unit key instead of second unit key. Incident: go to the real estate agent to get a second key due to forgotten key inside the unit when the door was locked.

Nice little apartment
This is a cute and neat apartment to rent with a short drive to town and shops. Well maintained building with pool and safe parking. My only issue was that I have booked for 2 adults and 2 kids for 2 nights but was only provided linen and towels for 2 people which i found bizzare. Nevertheless, I paid an extra $17.25 for extra linen for the sofa bed but that did not include towels. I suggest next time that if ever how many people are booked in the apartment, that they should be provided with enough linen and towels without having to pay extra. Other than that, enjoyable stay and will be happy to book again.

Nice apartment loved our stay great experience
Love it. So close to the beach, walking distance. Could walk to shopping centre to Nelson bay. Apartment was clean, well equipped and enjoyable to stay. Loved the courtyard, if the weather was nicer we would have utilised it more. Will definitely source this accommodation again when traveling to shoal bay.

Shoal Bay Unit
The check in process was not a great experience, the ipads were not working great and trying to get the key out of the box was very difficult.
The unit itself was clean the issue that i have is that the cutlery, plates and glasses were used from the previous tenants they did not wash nor rinse them they just them placed back in the cupboard! That itself i find disgusting!
I had to wash everything before i can use anything.
Also you have two very small pots, how are you meant to a meal with two small pots? Not everyone goes out to eat.
The unit itself is central to the Bay which is very handy, just need to ensure that when the unit is being prepared for the next tenant, it is not just the room and bathroom that needs to be cleaned and checked, you need to check the kitchen as well.
Otherwise it was a very pleasant stay.

Great holiday apartment
Was a great stay overall with a spacious backyard for my toddler to ride his bike. Great amenities with the coffee machine and comfortable ambience.
Some feedback regarding stains on doona cover and 3 strands of long blonde hair when we arrived and also had to clean out lint from the dryer and empty coffee machine.
Would love to stay here again.

Good Location, Quiet and Clean
The apartment was clean, modern and bright, the appliances were adequate and all functioned well. The property could do with fans in the bedroom and living room, as this would assist in keeping cool, without having to use the aircon so much. The bedroom gets quiet hot without the aircon running overnight.
Upon arrival we noticed that the bedroom seemed a bit damp, but this could have been due to the fresh linen on the bed, perhaps not being entirely dry, by the next morning the dampness has disappeared.
We didn’t use the washing machine or dryer, but when looking for the iron we noticed that the laundry had quiet a bad smell to it, as if someone had left a wet towel in the washer for a few days, it really needs to be aired out/or draino in the sink.
There was also sand in the wardrobe from the beach umbrella from previous use.
Overall it is a nice and clean place to stay, with a modern/beach decor. The building is quiet and in a good proximity to Nelson, Fingal and Salamander bays.

Apartment served the main purpose
The apartment looks somewhat larger on the pictures. It can handle four, however, anyone staying with four persons for more than one night might be better off bringing an inflatable mattress to prevent back pain. While basic kitchen ware and cutlery are present, they are not really intended for cooking. A sharp knife that one can chop veggies with would make a welcome addition. There are no fly screens so keeping sliding doors open overnight - for those that don't mind doing so on the groundfloor - comes with an invitation to mozzies.
Else, Nelson's Bay is beautiful and the apartment ideally located to Mount Tomaree, Little Beach and the Native Flora Gardens on foot.
