Outdoor space was nice, interior very poor

Very poor kitchen area, very small living area

Bedrooms were a good size, staff were lovely and responsive. Basic kitchen supplies were supplies. We were travelling with a baby and they provided a cot which was appreciated. The place was really clean stayed pretty cool during the hot days. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned. There are 2 small grocery stores nearby and a pizza place that does good pizza. There are some free beaches within 10 minutes drive but they are confusing to figure out how to access.

Showers - small and pokey, showers curtains let water go everywhere, and the shower heads were broken and didn't stay up. Kitchen was well equipped however the pots and pans are old and everything sticks to them despite using a lot of oil making them really hard to clean. Lounge room - the lounge is really small and not a great space to relax in. This would be ok if as the outdoor area is huge with furniture, but there are no cushions on the cabana furniture so you feel like you're sticking to it and can't relax for long.

Love the location, very peaceful. Short walk to Plemmirio Nature Reserve. Nice comfortable rooms, lovely outdoor space. Felt secure and very safe there. We had a car, so easy access to lots of places. You would need a car for most restaurants but there was a pizza place about 10mins walk down the road. Two small supermarkets a short drive away or a big Lidl nearer Syracuse. I saw a bus pass the end of the road, but I don't know what the service is like or if the stop is nearby. Basics provided (pasta, water, herbs, lemons, oil, coffee, washing powder, etc) and we even had a (really nice) homemade cake given to us on arrival - how lovely and unexpected! There is a BBQ and plenty of outside space for relaxing in. The owners are really, really nice people and we would 100% stay here again. There are lots of places we didn't get to visit and we would love to come back here to stay when we get a chance to come back. Just to clarify for anyone looking to book (as we weren't entirely sure what to expect) - the villa is all on one floor and you get the whole villa and it's grounds to yourself. The grounds are enclosed and there is a secure huge gate for access. The two bedrooms have a bathroom each and both are private. There is a kitchen and dining area separated by a breakfast bar. Nice decor throughout, very clean and plenty of pans and utensils. There's no sofa inside (but there are the dining room chairs which are fine), but it was hot enough to relax outside all the time on the plenty of seats/loungers/outdoor sofas. So it was a surprise but you don't really miss it.

Misses an oven as it was quite difficult to cook everything in the combined microwave/grill. Normally this wouldn't be a problem for us as we'd eat out more during the day, but unfortunately I was taken ill almost the whole stay so the rest of the party ended up staying in more. The doors to one of the showers doesn't open all that wide so you have to go in sideways (the other shower is a curtain, so plenty room enough to get in). Not really a "dislike", more a bit awkward.
