The property could use a little more detail to cleaning. Molding in the bathrooms and most all the doors in the unit were dirty when we arrived but was an easy clean with a Clorox wipe. The master bed could also use an update or a flip, it was definitely on the uncomfortable side compared to the other rooms. And if a small vacuum could be added to the room that would have been great! It seems this unit has been well loved by many and that’s probably what is most visible with normal wear and tear (stained decorative pillows in bedrooms, small rips in curtains in living room, scuffed and stained walls) all things that just need updated with time.
Overall the location and amenities that were offered made this a great vacation.There was plenty of room so you didn’t feel crammed in with a large group. The kitchen was stocked well and made nightly dinners easy to prepare and the grill was a great addition. The elevators were fast so no issues with coming and going. Parking was easy and there was plenty of it. Balcony hot tub was a nice extra bonus for when you just wanted to relax in a more quiet area, also like that they check it daily.

We had a great week at the beach. The only thing that I don’t know can be fixed is there were several large roaches in the grill area on the balcony.

We had a wonderful visit in late December. No crowds. Enjoyed the amazing view from this condo, as well as the hot tub on the balcony. It was even warm enough to enjoy the heated lazy river one day. The indoor pool is large as well and was amazing to enjoy. Good ramp to the beach if you have older folks that can't navigate stairs. Great stay. condo exactly as advertised!!

This was our second stay with Prickett Properties and also at Turquoise Place. Condo was very clean. Minor issues addressed immediately. Had everything we needed. Weather was amazing. This was our yearly beach trip with my brother, mother and aunt.

This is our 2nd stay here ! Last year was perfect ! Condo owner was in contact with my daughter before during & after our stay ! Their condo was awesome & we were in condo before 4 ! This year different condo ! We were to get an email or text when ready, when I hadn’t by 4 which I know things come up, I went to front desk around 4:20 & the young lady said oh yes it’s after 4 you are ready but much to my dismay when I got on elevator because my crew had gone up, my daughter sent text they were just running in to clean the condo so here we sit in hall with All of our stuff including groceries for another hour ! They had forgotten to clean this condo ! Of course they are all set up the same so we really do like the set up ! Problems ; 1st br on right, entrance door sqeaked bad & had to be forced closed, bathR door sqeaked so you woke whomever if you went to bathroom , was going to use the two blankets in the closet & they had Cheetos stains , urine & what looked like maybe coffee or juice stains, I put them in floor when we left ! And I swept articles from under dresser & around room & discarded in trash ! Hall bathroom handle on toilet was broken had to take back off to flush if other toilets were taken ! Sliding glass door lock falls off in your hand when you lock or unlock and to much furniture on balcony ! Also just FYI & you may want to warn the facility manager, I acquired an allergic reaction from the indoor pool facility from to much chlorine ! Please advise !

I will preface by saying we enjoyed the The Turquoise complex and our condo we stayed. The condo, 705-D, was very roomy for our family. The condo was everything we had expected and more! The amenities at the complex and our view from the condo were great and we had easy beach access. I would highly recommend staying at The Turquoise.
Checking in at the complex was easy as well. However, several of the arm bands they issued with our welcome package did not work. One of the "selling" points for our family choosing this complex was the hot tub and grill on our deck. We arrived on a Friday and the hot tub was not working. We called Prickettt Properties several times all weekend and were told someone was coming, someone was coming and no one came until Sunday. (We were leaving Monday a.m.) Sunday morning an electrician finally arrived and replaced the electrical plug. The water level was still low but he said it was working and told me he was just the electrician and the other guy would be there later to add water. When my son and my 6-year-old grandson opened the hot tub to check the temperature, by sticking their hands in the water, they both were "shocked". I immediately called Prickett Properties obviously very upset and STILL NO ONE showed up to address what was now a very serious problem!!
This is very concerning to me and as of today November 3, 2022 no one has called to follow up with this issue.

The unit was decorated beautifully. I loved the white bedroom furniture and would like to know where it came from.I would love if someone would let me know. This is the third time we have stayed at Turquoise Beach. This is the most beautiful unit yet.

Great location and we enjoyed the beach, pools and playground area. Property as described. Wish there was more storage in kitchen area for supplies instead of crowding the counters. Otherwise everything was great. Hope to return again in 2 years.

Great facilities
Place was great. But management of property would not help on someone playing music so loud you could not sit on balcony. Also last night kids at 4 in morning were having luggage cart races.

Loved our stay, condo was huge! Big kitchen, well stocked. Loved the hot tub and grill on the balcony. Large laundry room with full sized W/D and a laundry sink. Lazy River was great, outdoor pool was big and of course, the ocean was right there!

Hot tub and grill on the balcony make it hard to even leave and go to the beach. Top notch appliances in the kitchen. Super spacious in all rooms. It was the hardest place we ever had to leave.
Sunrise and sunset from the balcony are out of this world. You'll see why it's called Orange Beach.
Located close to many restaurants in the area.
Property Manager Prickett highly responsive to questions or issues. We had issues with hot tub but they took care of us immediately.
We will be staying here again!

95 Percent Awesome
The reason I don't give this beautiful condo 100 Percent is because the guest "king" room (not the master bedroom) bed had such a sag in the mattress on one side of it that our guest laid a pillow there when sleeping. Would rent it again and recommend it to others if the mattress is replaced.

This condo was spacious. Slept 8 adults and one toddler. Easy access to the beach. Only negative would be some of the kitchen accessories (pots, blender, bowls) need updating.

Very nice. The place had a funky smell, kind of smelled of mildew. Never had a really hot shower either. Water was warm, but never hot.

Housekeeping Issues
Condo is very nice, furnished well, great kitchen. When we arrived the master toilet was dirty, kitchen counter had toast crumbs around toaster, many finger prints on ice maker. Called management and they sent out a housekeeper to clean what we had noticed. Following morning, discovered cooktop very greasy and guest room bathtub had body hair in it. Could not get tv in living room on, no instructions. Sent up maintenance man he could not set it and after 30 minutes he called another man who came an hour later and got it working. The maintenance man said there should be a blue binder with information about operations in the condo, but it was not there. Called maintenance at about 7:00 to ask where grill lighter is located voice mail message announced she was on phone, leave a message then “voicemail box is full unable to accept messages.” I feel compelled to provide this information because the owner is paying for housekeeping and maintenance and it is lacking. Consider replacing master bedroom mattress. Enjoyed our time there, but the issues I have disclosed I would want to know about if I was the owner.
