Our first disappointment came when we first drove up...the view from the house has changed because there is a new house being built right next to this house and it now blocks some of the view that is shown in the listing pictures. If that was the only problem then we would have simply rated this house lower and left it at that, but we picked this location for the view to enjoy at the house and to have some quiet from noise and people. Our second and bigger disappointment came that each day we were there there was construction work starting very early in the morning (7:30 am most days) and lasting until dinnertime. The construction noise was loud and the construction was eye level with the upper deck, so the construction workers were literally just a few yards from the house. They could look into the windows because there were no coverings on some of them (in the past there wouldn’t have been a need because no one would be able to see in, but now with a house so close and level to the home they need to add window coverings everywhere). The house has signs inside that says there is no AC and to open the windows to let in the natural AC, but by opening the windows we had to hear the hammering and music of the construction workers. We had to get away from the home in order to relax. The house became a source of stress for us, instead of a place to relax. The problem with this whole situation is the management did not inform us of this construction before we arrived. The construction has obviously been going on for a few weeks. This was our first stay in a Vacasa home and it may be our last. They offered us a very small refund for the noise (which we feel was not sufficient for the experience). The local management does not seem to care about the inconvenience this caused (no follow ups). Would I say not to rent this house? No, not if there wasn’t construction and the listing pictures are updated to accurately show the new view with the new construction. What I would say is that the local management needs to make some changes and take a little bit more care with their handling of construction next to their vacation homes. I am hoping this will help inform other guests to know what to expect, since management doesn’t seem to want to take the time to inform people prior to their arrival.

Great view, is in need of a deep clean and new living area rug

House was great. Kitchen was stocked with all the basics for big family meals. Multi level layout was good for a multifamily stay. Would stay here again

We had a great stay for 3 days. It was beautiful. The location was good for us since we really enjoy long walks together as a family. One day we walked all the way to the beach and then to the store and back. I'm sure we met our 10,000 steps for the day. The unit was equipped, but strangely though, nothing there but salt, pepper and baking soda. The way it was decorated was really outstanding. You could tell the owners bent over backwards to put cute ocean themed decor everywhere. We drove to Tillamook and Neahkahnie Viewpoint then to Lincoln City. We cooked salmon and chicken and just had a great family trip. Thanks so much!

I loved the ocean view but the house was too far away to walk to the beach! There was no easy access!

Wonderful view, plus lots of space

The home is almost as beautiful as the views from almost every window. The furniture is gorgeous and actually comfortable! My family and I enjoyed the board game selection as well (Espexially the “life of a redneck” one) We will most certainly be back to soak in the beauty that is Sea 4 Miles.

Very nice house with a big deck and a great open layout. Off tsunami zone. Many dear around which made it a highlight for the kids. Very helpful LOM and customer service! Highly recommended.

This property would be a good stay if they had better mattresses. We all found them to be uncomfortable and didn’t sleep well there. Otherwise the kitchen had enough cooking supplies. They provided starter spices which was nice. The location is good and it had a nice view. The property was clean, but the downstairs garage smelled bad. We stored our bikes in there, but otherwise weren’t in there. If I had to guess, I think their washing machine needs to be cleaned. It had a musty sort of smell.

The property and place are perfect! My problem this time was with booking. I was renting from VACASA, but unexpectedly got an additional charge from VRBO. Very upset about it. The agent was rude and hanged up on me. 503.927.9003 Larissa Dorokhov

Great views, open floor plan, plenty of room, all the necessities. On a hill overlooking Pacific City and the expansive Oregon coast! The fireplace and wrap around deck were bonuses. Neat and tidy. Would definitely stay again.

Hard to find/ open key box, stove has two dead burners, hall bath does not drain, and dirty cookware in the kitchen, but the view is amazing.

We really loved the house, the layout and the view. It was very comfortable and cozy. It does not have a complete kitchen, best to bring foil, wrap, sharp knives and food storage. Also we had issues with the TVs down stairs not working or we could not figure out how, could use a tutorial on that. Otherwise it was a great experience and would do again. Vacasa was always there to help with questions.

We had a great time staying here, it was a great space and had an amazing view. Bonus- it was dog friendly and had a good comfortable bed!

Need to have a blender and garage door opener

Everything in this house ship-shape and very clean. Only current drawbacks are no BBQ grill, only 2 outdoor chairs, and no outdoor fire pit. Everything inside super comfy and all in good working order. Fireplace is exceptionally clean burning. We had 6 adults and there was plenty of room. Downstairs is a separate apartment with half-kitchen (no stove). There are 2 washers and 2 dryers, so wash was a snap. Easy place to keep clean. We all really enjoyed out stay here and would surely come back.

A good view and close access to the coast. Roomy living room, and a spacious kitchen makes for a great entertaining space for the family. I think the only improvement for those watching a movie on a rainy night would be a good sound system. A single sound bar would do best! (You can bring your own, if you want)

Great view, not on the ocean (as advertised, it's a short drive). Plenty of room upstairs and downstairs. Big table upstairs was perfect for Thanksgiving.

Property was clean, spacious yet cozy. Loved the fireplace and the view is perfect!

everyone beware there are bed bugs currently at this house, we we checked out on Sept 8th. i've sent a message to Vacasa so hopefully they get on it ASAP! a couple of us got bitten up, but luckily once we got home and realized what had happened, it appears that none of them travelled with us! look online for how to find them in your luggage and beds, etc.

the house has an amazing view and was really fun to stay at. i hate to complain, but there are some yucky smells from the carpets and fabrics... probably from pet accidents. and the people before us cooked crab in the house and the fridge made us gag everytime we opened it as a result. now, i sure do love me some crab.... but if you are reading this... don't you ever cook crab indoors at a rental house! just bad luck for us on that.

Highly recommend this home! Located in a tsunami-safe zone with breathtaking views from both floors! Well-equipped with a lot of nice touches, comfortable beds, and overall very functional.

Great location and set up, 3 rooms with 3 separate bathrooms worked great for us. Coffee on the patio watching the deer was a fun experience.

Very comfortable and light and clean. The view was fantastic. The table was big enough for a large meal or games that need lots of table space, but no so big you felt like you needed to yell to be heard at the other end of the table. We had four people and plenty of room for the two others that visited for a few hours during our trip. Would love to rent again for future gatherings/ getaways!

You couldn’t ask for a better view of Pacific city from all the windows in the house. Very cozy home for our group of 8 adults and 10 kids. Only an 8 minute drive to Pelican brewery and the beach. Only complaint would be it wasn’t super clean. Dog hair on the floors and shower curtain had mold in it. But other than that it was a perfect beach vacation home for our family vacay.

Clean, comfortable, well-appointed. Not right on the beach but has a great ocean view and we prefer that. One drawback for us was the main living area is upstairs and we have 2 elderly dogs who can't go up or down stairs, one of whom usually needs to go out at night. So carrying them up and down the stairs was difficult and tricky at night. But that is just our particular circumstance. And there is a downstairs studio that could be an option, but we wanted to be up where the view is. If stairs are not a problem for you you will really like this place. 3 stars on communication with property manager only because there is no N/A option. We got check in info by email and text and did not have any issues while we were there so we had no need to communicate with the property manager

The view is spectacular. We were able to see whales using binoculars! There were also deer everywhere. The house was very comfortable. The layout was great and fit perfectly for the 7 of us. The teenagers enjoyed having the downstairs studio to escape to. The place was very clean and was fully stocked with whatever we expected plus more. I'd definitely go back.
