One side of the mattress was collapsed, mould on the shower tiles, no hot running water in the basin.

Zeida was a lovely host, very friendly and offered advice on places to go for breakfast the next day. We only wanted a quick overnighter as we were travelling north and this suited our purpose, especially at this great price. Bed was super comfy and we had a good, quiet night's sleep. Place was not spotless but this is a home, not a hotel, and was perfectly adequate.

The owner is friendly and really dedicated to help where possible. Beds were clean and comfortable. Shared bathroom worked well for us.

Apart from the beds, toilet and shower, most other things seem to be cleaned only from time to time. I would not say that it was really dirty, but the bed table or the coffe table for example were rather covered in dust, bread crumbs etc. (I am not complaining about a few flakes of dust, it was a few milimeters high in the corners, behind the lamp,...) I guess it is also a matter of personal attitude or customs, but for us it was unfortunately dirtier than a guest room should be. Nevertheless it should be mentioned that the bed, the toilet etc. were definitely sufficiently clean! As it is an overnight stay, you cannot use the cardboards etc. and you cannot use the whole room between 09:30 and 16:30 if staying more than one night. The latter should be mentioned clearly upon check-in. Unfortunately, we did not realize until the next morning (but it was not a big issue).

The accommodation was very comfortable and clean, I was made very welcome by zeida, only needed to ask for anything, the bed was so comfy I wanted to take it with me

There is absolutely nothing to do in the area apart from walk, the pub (hotel) nearby is closed and the shop was closed while I was there

It was a nice stay. The landlady was welcoming and happy to advice on things to do and see around. The property is very clean, you have your own bathroom and shower.

The title clearly says "no breakfast", and there is a kitchen which you won't be allowed to use at all. That is absolutely fine, but maybe a tiny bit more elasticity according to the situation could be an option :) In our case we we had some bread and cheese to eat, so no cooking at all, but we were not even allowed to sit in the kithcen inside, and instead had to eat our stuff outside in **a lot** of wind and quite a cold temperture (it was 10pm and around 10 degrees).

Arrived 4.10pm. Note on door saying returning 4.30 - 5.00. Lady arrived 5. No apology. Felt like I was sleeping in my mother's bedroom. Booked Aultbea boathouse as it was cheapest in area. Wouldnt recommend Aultbea. Goto Ullapool or Poolewe or any other place. No eating places. No breakfast. I see breakfast was there while ago.

The house is really close to the shore, and you can enjoy a great view while eating in the garden (if the weather allows). The bedroom is comfortable and well equipped.

There was a bed in a room, other than that, nothing was positive.

The host was extremely nosey. They tried to impose their religious beliefs on us. There were spider webs all over the bed and the room and a spider jumped out as i touched the bed. Overall, it was extremely uncomfortable and we decided to forfeit our payment and leave after one day immediately.

I couldn't stay longerb

Me and Zieda got on very well, she showed me how to cook a yummy vegetarian meal, then we ate it together whilst watching a Netflix series, she also gave me some of her lovely home made cake and jam. lovely, kind lady that went above and beyond to make my stay a good one x

The bed was extremely confortable!

The room was so full of crap that looked that there is no air to breathe.

Worst experience and hospitality service. Even though lady let us know that we should have dinner before coming, cause there are no restaurants around, we decided to bring sandwhich after a long trip on the road and it was night time and she didnt allow us to bring the food into the house, so we had to come back into the car to eat diner. Who does that???? Would never recommend to stay there, never felt so unwelcomed in my life!

Lovely host and a warm family feeling.

We arrived very late so landlady very accommodating as we lost our way and we had to call her. Room was good and I had a great night sleep (in fact slept though a bad storm).
