Rooms were so comfortable. Location was amazing! Everything was in great shape and clean. The staff were friendly helpful and a joy!

The staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable! The room was absolutely beautiful and had absolutely everything that I needed, with the staff being contactable through WhatsApp for anything that I needed.

The location is ideal at the bottom of Grassmarket & right by the castle. This did mean there was a little noise at times but it wasn’t awful. All the staff were very friendly & helpful & the studio was well equipped.

The property was clean and tidy and the staff were really helpful and friendly. We were greeted by friendly staff who offered us some mulled wine, hot chocolate and a cookie which we as lovely after a long journey!

We had a bit of a rocky start to our stay, the day we checked in a lot of large groups were checking out so it took us about 40minutes to get checked in. However due to the delay we were upgraded to a larger apartment instead of a studio which was lovely. Our next issue was that upon using the shower the whole bathroom flooded. The seal on the door has gone and the drain was blocked. We contacted reception who sent out housekeeping and maintenance within minutes! We were really impressed with how quickly they sorted the problem. Overall a really good stay. 9/10

Super-friendly, very competent staff. Welcoming, thoughtful, and intentional about hospitality. I actually wished we'd spent more time in the lounge/bar area; they, and it, were that nice. Very spacious and well-appointed rooms/kitchens/bath. Clever layout, as so many of these sorts of accomodations have, but this one was particularly good.

A bit hard to find, though, sunk as it is in one of Edinburgh's deep valleys, and the "castle view" was partial at best. Be prepared to look a bit around for it when you arrive, and I wouldn't pay more for that view. But definitely stay there.

Fantastic location just off Grassmarket in the old town. Very walkable to places of interest although old town is a little bit uphill from the hotel. Staff were excellent and really helpful - nothing seemed like too much trouble. Room was spacious and the small kitchenette meant we could have breakfast super cheap in the room as well as coffees etc.

Love the room and facilities. The location was also fantastic! It's near almost everything, and if not, it's. short walk away. We definitely enjoyed our stay here.

Not much to complain about regarding this location. I do believe that the price could be more affordable considering this isn't a luxury hotel and or resort. No pool etc. But, it did have the essentials for what we needed with no fluff.

Difficult to get fresh air into the room so.was quite warm. Bed would be better placed other way around and facing TV rather than butting up.to the wall

Excellent breakfast selection for the price. Great location close to the Royal Mile but off on a side street and very quiet.

Everything is cashless except for the (rather expensive) laundry facilities. Luckily I had change but the desk won't have change because they don't accept cash.

We loved the Central location of the accommodation. The staff were so kind and attentive, and the apartment was so clean and well kitted out. Breakfast was lovely, could have more gluten free options but the coffee was good and there were good options on the hot breakfast menu. Very quiet and safe spot.

The TV was a bit glitchy but the staff more than made up for the inconvenience by giving us a complimentary breakfast on Valentines morning.

Location was great. We requested a high floor, we were given an upgrade to a castle view room, but it was on the 1st floor over the main street. It did give us castle views if we stood at the window and looked up, but would have preferred a higher floor at the back. It was very noisy with both early morning traffic/cleaning and late home party people which both woke me up. I definitely would have been disappointed if I had paid extra for this castle view room, something we did consider at the time of booking, but after some research didn't think the views were worth the extra price. The staff were mostly lovely and the room, other than the noise was wonderful. The kitchenette seemed well equipped although we didn't use it. The bed was huge. The shower was on the smaller side though. I would recommend this place if you can get a room away from the street, although I would probably try somewhere different next time.

The noise from the street below. The one staff member who didn't like that I didn't give them 100% on the feedback buttons I was made to use during checkout. Was slightly rude and pushy. All other staff encounters were lovely however.
