Our family of 8 with age ranges enjoy our stay very much! You are able to walk to shops, restaurants, ATV, surf lessons, catamaran etc within 1 mile. There is one main spacious house and two smaller apartments, but it has a common pool area. There was an iguana that greeted us! Would stay again. Thanks!

The villa is actually nicer than in the picture. Very comfortable and organized. Location is excellent very near the beach and restaurants but far enough from the busy downtown core.

The AC went out in the top apartment and they had to replace it. 2 days without AC in that apartment made it unusable. I requested a prorated refund with no response. They then charge me for a missing ice chest that their security guard used to take home fish that we gave him. Apparently he did not return it and they want to charge me for it. It's their employee!! They did not even call me to see what happened to it. They just charged my card and now I'm having to dispute it with my credit card company. Beware of staying in this location or any location managed by this company.

Great walkable location near beach suitable for several families. We had street parking but the overnight security made us feel very safe. Any immediate questions/issues were addressed quickly. The only real negative was a dishwasher that did not work very well. We found the pool to be a real necessity…enjoyed it and the inside/outside family areas.

The property was a perfect fit for myself, wife, 17 yr old son, 15 yr old daughter, 9yr old son, 8 yr old son, 2 adult sisters, 2 more teenage nephew and niece, and my parents. Overall there were 13 in our group. The little ones loved the pool. The ocean is about a 4 minute walk down the street. The area is beautiful. Wilbur with blue zone was our driver a few times and was a literal lifesaver. Excursions are about 2 hours away for the good zip lines. We will be coming back, the property was beautiful!

I really enjoyed this property except for one major issue (for me)….the internet is unusable for work purposes which would limit me coming back. Other than that the rooms are great, the house is well equipped and the pool is perfect for kids.

This was a last-minute reservation because our previous one fell through. The property location was probably better than our previous VRBO. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. I would highly recommend this property to anybody that is visiting Costa Rica.

This property is extremely well-built, and the communication to property management was outstanding. The location was good. I recommend renting golf carts, the property management hires security guards for night time. We had an outstanding time and will definitely return in the future.

The property is exactly as described in the pictures. The location is even better than described. We were literally a five minute walk from the beach and a 10 minute walk from Central Tamarindo. Restaurants were steps away. The beach is wonderful and after an afternoon at the beach, it was great to get back and cool off in the pool. The ages in our group varied from 9 to 80 and no one found any difficulty in walking for miles on the beach and around town. A car is not necessary. Any excursions that we arranged, all had pickup at our door. The management company, Blue Zone, arranged our transfers to and from the airport. They were also very good and quick to respond to any issues in the rental. An air conditioner went on the fritz and was repaired within an afternoon.
I highly recommend this rental.

3 couples stayed and this was the perfect place for our Tamarindo vacation. The outdoor space is amazing. By the pool with lots of different seating options. Also it was great having two buildings. We all had plenty of privacy. The house was close to town and close to beach. No need to rent a car and if you like walking you won’t ever need a cab. If you don’t like walking you can get almost anywhere for less than $5. Tamarindo is amazing and this place is a great place to stay to immerse yourself into Tamarindo. All 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

This was a perfect house for the 10 members of our family. We had 6 adults and 4 teenagers stay at the house. It was close to the beach and activities. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The house was perfect and so were the hosts. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone!

Wonderful vacation and experience
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very close to the beach and downtown Tamarindo. It really allowed our group to be able to immerse in the culture and lifestyle of Costa Rica. Pura Vida!

Great Costa Rican Stay
Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our first Costa Rican vacation. The property was just as advertised and was in a great location. The check in and out process was seamless and the property manager was very responsive on any questions we had. Would definitely look to stay here again for our next Tamarindo trip!

Excellent location
The Villa is in a perfect location of Tamarindo close walking distance to the beach and all of towns shops and restaurants. Property was exactly as described with plenty of room for all 10 of us.
The only thing I think would be better if the front gate had a better key system so we did not have to have a key to exit the villa and only one key was provided. So we all had to coordinate to make sure someone was at the house if we were not all leaving and coming back at the samw time. I also wiuld suggest having a complete binder with things to know about the house, like were to empty the trash, etc. Other than that the house is perfect. No real complaints. Would rent again.

Great property - perfect location
We stayed at this property with 9 people (inc. 1 infant) for a week. The common areas were great, the pool was very nice, the security was excellent. Great location that is close, but not too close, to town. Online pictures are accurate.

Nice Place
This property is managed by a property management group, which to me makes it easier. For example, we couldn't find the wifi code so we reached out to the multiple methods they provided and got this fairly quickly. Place was very nice and relaxing. Would recommend!
Note to Mgmt: There was a Skunk on property or nearby. Our group saw it at one time, then another instance we must've scared him since he sprayed his smell by the pool but it went away quick (just wanted to note). Fun times in Costa Rica!

Tamarindo joy!
We had the best holiday trip here! The property is spacious and private. We loved the outdoor courtyard where we could hide from the midday sun! The beds were very comfortable. Fantastic location close to the beach and plenty of restaurants. It was great to be a little distance to town, but entirely walkable if wanted to wander. Staff was very attentive for all our needs! We hope to be back soon

Fabulous property!
Was a great set up for our family. Property management company was very helpful & responsive. I personally found the master queen bed to be too firm. Also, the bathtub does not have a curtain over the windows, so the bedroom got light at daybreak. There are room darkening curtains in the master bedroom itself, but the bathtub is open to the bedroom.
This unit is on a corner of a dirt road and there is a fair amount of traffic that passes by, which primarily impact the 2 studio apartments with both noise & dust.
This is our first time staying in a beach area where the house did not smell musty. This was a very nice benefit that most would probably not notice. I appreciated not having to wash all my clothes upon returning.
Overall a great stay in a fantastic location! I would definitely return.

Overall we had a very nice stay at Jade 3. The property was on the edge of the shops and restaurants and you can walk, but I'm super glad that we rented a golf cart. The private pool and large patio were very enjoyable after a day on the beach.
It was disappointing that the property manager acted like it was an imposition for us to wait off to the side on the outside patio until our ride for the airport arrived. I guess I would have expected a little more hospitality after we took exceptional care of their property.

Perfect!
We loved staying here. The house and property were exactly as listed. It was a short walk to beach and town. Bluewater Properties was great to work with—quick response time, so helpful in setting up drivers, great cleaning service. We had a 4 yo, 1 yo and 5 adults and there was something for everyone. Weather was perfect all week!

Family Vacation
The property was beautiful I think it is the nicest place I have stayed in all of my visits to Costa Rica. It was centrally located to everything we wanted do. I would definitely stay there again.

Tamarindo Gathering house
This is an ideal place for a multi-family gathering of 10-12 people. It's clean, good wifi, pretty ideal location to walking everywhere and the beach. It's a safe place and a good deal for Tamarindo!

A great location for first timers to Costa Rica
The property is truly as advertised. It is two separate buildings. The main house has three bedrooms (Master on top floor with large tub and bathroom, bunk beds with a twin on top and full on the bottom, and a double on the main). The separate building has two full size on the top and a double at the bottom. The pool was perfect for 5 kids to play all day. The location was amazing. It is a 2 minute walk to quick bites, 3 minutes to the beach, 4 minutes to a super mercado to pick up provisions and no more than 10 minutes (at 8 year walking pace) to all the restaurants and shops in the area. Andres was quick to answer all property questions. Olber supported any transportation and excursion needs. The place was amazing!

Perfect for us
This property was a blessing for our extended family. We have rented many vacation homes over the last 20 years and this was definitely one of our favorites. There were spaces for everyone with their own private bathrooms which all were luxurious and hotel like. The little ones enjoyed the pool nonstop, while older teens surfed and worked out at the beach entrance exercise area. Adults had space to visit and catch up outside on the huge porch or inside. We were also close enough to visit some of our other favorite beaches. Overall highly recommended. Thanks for having us!

Perfect location with our own holler monkeys
We loved being close to town but still felt like we were on our own. The property team did a great job in communicating with us and helped us organizing a few activities. The home was comfortable.

Close to everything in tamarindo
We really enjoyed our stay. The property is fantastic with good amenities. Walkability to the entire town was fantastic. We rented surfboards from banana surf club and were able to pick up and drop them off at their beach location every day for the entire week.

Our stay at jade Coast 3 couldn’t have been any better. The locations was perfect. We couldn’t have have been any closer to the beach, shops and restaurants and still had the amount of space and privacy we enjoyed. The entire experience was one of the best we’ve ever had. Allan and Andres made sure our every request or inquiry was fulfilled quickly and with the utmost professionalism and expertise. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great vacation to Costa Rica.
