Lovely cabin with a great view of Denali. Very clean and cozy. Easy trip to downtown Talkeetna, hiking around lake and then on to Anchorage.

Loved waking up to see Denali every day. Great location off the beaten path but still less than 10 minute drive into town.

Rule book said only 2 can take showers at night, and only 2 in morning. It stated that the well does not pump enough water for more showers, and not over 5 min long for showers.What if there was 5 people in the group. We went by the rules that 1st night. But, about 3am, I heard water running and checked the toilet. The chain for the flapper came loose and stuck under the flapper causing it to keep running. I fixed it.The next day, the shower did not work for the boys, even though it was many hours later. It only dribbled out. As we left for the day, my wife called the host and left a message of the situation.
There are 2 other cabins nearby that are also hooked to the same water well, and the host said now I know why the others had no water in the morning.They did check the toilet to make sure it was repaired properly, and hoping it doesn't happen again.My wife also informed her that there was only 3 bath towels. We had registered with the 2 of us, plus 17 and 20 yr old Grandsons.The host said that she thought the young child did not need a bath towel. Really? A very young child would need a bath towel. The next night there was 4 bath towels.
Bedrms were upstairs and bathroom downstairs Some windows have no curtains and sun shined in all night.

We enjoyed our stay. Cabin was quiet and cozy. Our only issues were that the listing shows one bedroom has a queen bed, the other bedroom has two twins and a queen. There is no second queen bed. In addition, we would of liked to know about the 5 minute shower limit.

Wonderful location and charming cabin in great shape. Enjoyed meeting Whitney. Only drawback is both bedrooms upstairs and bathroom downstairs.

This cabin was quaint with beautiful views! The setting creates a relaxing atmosphere. It was exactly what we needed.

When traveling with friends, we always look for more than one bathroom. If a rental has only one bathroom, then the bedroom is one place where one may get ready for the day without having to hog the bathroom. Adequate outlets, extension cords and a shelf below a mirror can help people to get ready without using the bathroom mirror. I basically had to do gymnastics to use a blow dryer and curling iron in the bedroom. I don't always travel with these items (curling iron & blow dryer) but we came to Alaska for a wedding and festivities for a few days, this meant we had to dress appropriately. So I would highly suggest doing some improvements in this area, thanks!

What a place to stay! The cabin is beautiful!! We would come back to this spot in the woods! The drive to town is just a couple of minutes and the people are so polite.

We so enjoyed our time at the mountaintop and would recommend a stay for anyone. The space is beautiful, beautifully built, beautifully decorated with a breathtaking view. We all enjoyed some much needed downtime and immediately felt at home. I am so glad we found this place.

The property description can be more detailed especially on the kitchen description, There was no stove and the refrigerator was very small. This property is in a beautiful location but was a bit tight for 4 adults and 2 teens. The check in process and the cleanliness was great. Thank you.

A beautiful view out of the windows - just not sure what mountains we were looking at! Lol! Not a long drive to downtown Talkeetna. Very nice house. There are steps up to the bedrooms, so renters should be aware of that. Assume that info is on the rental site, but I am not recalling.

This cute cabin is so charming. We absolutely love the home feel and amazing views. It was nice to have basic kitchen amenities so we could relax and enjoy the cabin and views.

Loved the remote location, but easy 10 minute drive to town! The cabin was great and comfortable! Get your groceries at Cubby's by the highway before you arrive! Nagle's in Talkeetna has few items and quite pricey!

Amazing views
The location is perfect, the view is amazing. Denali was out pretty much the whole time we were there. However this cabin needs some upgraded amenities starting with the beds. The queen bed was so bad we had to sleep in to small queen beds or a heavily used futon. Beds are the most important thing to guests, we know we also rent cabins also. We loved our stay in Talkeetna.

What a lovely place to stay - close to Talkeetna, but in quiet setting on a hill with great views, perfect furnishings, and just utterly comfortable. I will look for reasons to come back to the area and rent it again!

Great place and even better people
The cabin and location are spectacular. It’s far enough from town to not be surrounded by the bustle but close enough to be convenient. I’m sure the view of Denali is awesome from there if it’s not socked in the clouds. We met the owner and she is a great person. I would have liked to have more time to talk to her. She even help us find freezer space for the salmon that followed us up from Kenai. I’ll stay there again if I’m ever in Talkeetna.

Beautiful Denali view
Lovely cabin and we were blessed with gorgeous views. The raspberry bushes are beginning to encroach on that million dollar view. Owner Whitney is very friendly and accommodating. We loved town of Talkeetna. Cabin was a high light of our amazing Alaska vacation!
