We got away from town for Memorial day for a few days at the beach at the Knole House where almost anything we could think of was already provided. Sure, we supplied our own perishables, but plenty of cooking utensils, space, a game room with tons of activities, toys for our grandson, and more were available, and we could also find a part of the giant house where we could decompress for a while. I heartily recommend staying here for your vacation.

Very clean home with so many amenities….it rained on and off during our stay (late September) but the house was perfect- the game room was fun on rainy days- the beach and other outdoor activities on sunny days. I highly recommend checking out Cape Disappointment, and grabbing some clam chowder and driving down the beach (you can drive on the beach!) as well as clamming and a ride to Oysterville for the best fresh oysters.
We are a family of 9- all mixed ages (from 10-26) and everyone had a wonderful time.
The kitchen was very well stocked- and loving to cook, I had a great time being in the beautiful kitchen preparing food.
The house has wonderful antiques and some beautiful stained glass windows. Views are amazing.
Walk to beach gorgeous and an easy walk.
I gave it a 5 star because the house was even more great than the listing. Amber from Bloomer Estates was extremely helpful and very prompt at returning my inquiries.

We love going to the coast during the winter. I need a hot tub, and an amazing kitchen, and my boys need a game room, and this house was perfect!
I cook a LOT, and this kitchen had everything I needed!
The game room was not only amazing, but everything actually works (which has not been the case at other VRBO's).
The location is also amazing. We could sit in the living room and watch the bald eagles play in the wind. Then a short walk over the grass to the beach, where we flew kites, took long walks, and the boys even did a polar bear plunge.
The staff was also WAY beyond helpful when we had a question, and this was even during the holidays.
I can't say enough about this house and our experience. We would absolutely go back!

Vacay started with clam dig cancelled and Covid preventing part of family from traveling. But when the remaining guests arrived at house, we were very pleased. We quickly booked a crab boat trip and settled in for a great time. The home is beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could possibly want. Beds very comfy. Perfect place for many people. We’ll rebook when we can all get together again.

This home lives large! Fully stocked kitchen large enough for 3 cooks to all work comfortably together. The beds were comfortable and the game room was awesome entertainment for the young and old. The stained glass throughout the home is magnificent! Couple of small things could use attention: The knob on the pantry was completely off and sitting on the kitchen counter when we first entered. There were missing screens on several windows where it would have been nice to open them and get some fresh air. There were no steak knives! In a fully loaded kitchen, this was a huge oversight and unfortunately we didn't notice it until after we had barbecued our steaks. Lastly, several of the blinds in the home are broken making them impossible to open or close. All and all, gorgeous home and we will be back. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with those of us wanting to escape the city. Cindy

We had amazing stay at the Knole house. We rented both properties the house and guest house. It fit it us all perfectly. The beach access was the best. You also got to see wildlife daily, deer, birds and bald eagles. We can't wait for our next family vacation. We are defiantly staying here again.

This house was a very nice house! The kitchen had everything you needed and more plenty of dishes and silverware too so we didn't have to run the dish washer after every meal like a lot of places we have stayed at. We enjoyed the game room and we didn't even have kids with us. We used the hot tub a lot, but would have even more if it was covered as it rained all weekend. Loved all the antiques and stained glass. Plenty of room for us and the dogs, we hope to be back.

The pictures Bloomer Estates uses to advertise the property are deceiving however.The home was clearly great at one time as the pictures show but has fallen into a state of disrepair.
Dog hair covered the sofa and area rug
Unusable foosball, air hockey, basketball arcade game (scratched, rusted flat balls) Game tables all unlevel, some with pieces of paper to balance them
Moldy showers
Floors were filthy and bathroom amenities rusted to the tile
Jacuzzi had no chlorine. When management company was told about it they didn't fix it, just refunded money.
Fireplace in upstairs room was intentionally disabled so a full size baby crib could be placed in front of it.
Broken window shades
There is just allot of unorganized "stuff" in this house.High chairs, nursing chairs,dog crate,kites and items other guests have left behind, kids toys- all items that our family didn't require but did require us to organize and move so games were accessible.On the outside the deck is dirty with moss and mold under a variety of more "stuff" and the lattice skirt around the deck is falling off.Upon renting you will receive so many emails with rules,notices as well as some helpful info tucked in for good measure.

Almost perfect!!
The house and location are amazing. We were all so impressed and comfortable during our stay!! The views were breathtaking and we enjoyed watching the ocean from the kitchen nook and the master bedroom on the 2nd floor. Dabra was amazing and provided on the spot assistance with a couple of things we needed during our stay!! The only thing that we found that needs attention is the hot tub. Only 2 sets of the jets were working and the water would not heat past 98°. Outside of that it was perfect and we can't wait to visit again. Thank you for a great 50th birthday celebration location!!

Thanksgiving Holiday
Our whole family was very pleased with the Knole House. The kitchen was well equipped, which made it easy to prepare all our breakfasts, snacks and our Thanksgiving meal. We enjoyed our time in the large dining room as a family. The game room was amazing! We actually spent most of our time playing ping pong, pool, and some of us spent quite a bit of time playing the “old school” games the arcade had to offer. The location is really nice and we loved the acreage. We could see the ocean from the downstairs and upstairs had an amazing view. The path/trail to the ocean was an easy walk, enjoyed by all. The BBQ on the covered deck worked great. The hot tub was beautiful.
We took one day to visit Seaside and Cannon Beach, as they are less than an hour away.
I think the one thing we would recommend is to inspect the pool sticks (for the pool table) and replace the tips/cues.
It really is a great house in a nice location. My family really enjoyed spending time there. Another bonus with this house is that there is a guest house you can also rent. We did not rent the guest house, but it’s nice to know we could possibly rent both in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at the Knole House over the Labor Day weekend. The views, proximity to the beach and general layout were the highlights. The hot tub had not been maintained but as soon as we notified Bloomers the maintenance person drained, cleaned and prepped it for use. Our grandchildren spent a lot of time enjoying all of the games in the play area. There were a few repairs that needed to be made e.g., downstairs bed only lifts on one side. An area for improvement was cleanliness. The outdoor grill was filthy, the floors had not been cleaned, the kitchen vent was coated with grease. If I were a neat freak that would have been a major issue but all of the other benefits of the home outweighed it.

We love staying at the Knole House. This time we also rented the Knole Guest House as we have 12 adults 7 children and 4 dogs. We like the amenities from the hot tub, short trail to the beach, sand pit, playground, large workable kitchen, several eating area, game room and privacy of the property.

The garage area is a game room! One door leads to the well-furnished kitchen with a small dining area overlooking the grass, sand, and then ocean. The other door leads to the unique upstairs bedroom that has 4 single beds in cubicles. Back the kitchen, connected is a formal dining room and a large living room + a large bedroom and huge bath with a shower. Upstairs from the living room are bedrooms, one with a balcony and a sitting area. The house is filled with beautiful stained glass. There is a piano!

Wonderful home and location
Really nice and private location back from the beach. The home worked very well for our family - just as we hoped. Very well managed. Had a minor issue with the hot tub that was remedied immediately upon notice. Well done!

Great layout of house and location.
This was a great place to stay. The garage was full of working things to do which was fabulous. There is a ton of toys and needed items for younger kids we didn’t need but would be nice for others. The house was in good condition with just a couple minor things missing or broken but nothing that took away from the trip. Do know that the upstairs main room we thought was a master, maybe our mistake. It is a large room office/den room with king bed put it in. It does not have a private bathroom or closet. There is one true master downstairs which is nice. It worked for us but is to note. We would stay here again.

Wonderful stay over 4th of July
Lovely, spacious, and private home a short walk over breezy dunes from the beach. Stunning views of nature, ample and various amenities for the younger folks, all in a finely appointed well-maintained and classic property.

Fun house for kids
This place has everything for a fun time with the family. Kids room is removed from main home bedrooms which is fun for older kids but can be difficult for the little ones. The proximity to the ocean is great, town is a short drive away.

This house was everything we’d prayed it would be. Really enjoyed the space so much. The views are incredible and we didn’t waste one minute!!! The house had everything we needed for my chef daughter and wife to cook together for the first time in 3.5 yrs. They couldn’t have been happier!!! Being able to bring my daughters dog made the difference!!

Knole house review
The place was great for what we needed. It fit 10 people comfortably, and was only a short walk to the beach. We had an issue with the upstairs toilet leaking, and the maintenance person was at our house within 15 minutes.

AMAZING!
We had the most wonderful experience at the Knole House. We stayed for 4 days with our 3 kids, ages 5, 7, and 7. The house was incredible and had everything we could have asked for and more. There is so much to do; the game room is unbelievable! We used the hot tub multiple times a day, grilled, played with all the toys inside and out, utilized the climbing structure/playground next door, and spent lots of time down at the beach. We were lucky enough to meet the owner in passing, and it was lovely to chat with him and tell him how much we were enjoying our stay. There are ample sleeping arrangements to choose from to meet your needs. We went to the cranberry museum, spent time at Funland, and walked around in Long Beach getting fudge and ice cream. The check in and check out process was seamless. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend it!

We had a rough start with the property, but after communicating to management a maintenance person arrive promptly. When we arrived there was toilet water from the upstairs bathroom dripping through the ceiling light onto the kitchen island. We shut the water off to the toilet and put the soaked floor rugs in the bathtub. Maintenance person fixed the valve in the toilet. Nobody ever checked back to replace the wet rugs and clean the bathroom floor. Therefore, we did not use the upstairs bedrooms/bathroom. We did enjoy the loacation/view, hot tub, piano and gameroom. It was also conveniently close to town for incidentals if needed. The couch cushions were a little flat and uncomfortable and needed vacuuming.

The kid's had a great time in the entertainment room as did the adults. the house is well equipped from the coffee bar to the kitchen and the double oven and gas range is a nice touch. we very much enjoyed the hot tub at night. The customer service and interaction with staff of Bloomer was excellent. In all we had an amazing time at the knole house and would stay with Bloomer Estates again.

Great House and Location
This is a wonderful vacation house and location. The place is quiet, secluded, and not too far to drive to town. There was plenty for the teenagers and adults to do when it rained, and the walk to the beach is all of 1/8 of a mile, if that. The kitchen is to die for, especially the gas stove. I've never seen so many dishes in my life, almost excessive to the point where we had to shuffle items into empty drawers just to make room in the pantry for the dry goods we brought. There seems to be some contributed spices possibly left from past patrons, but I suggest you take what you think you'll need, or buy it there and contribute to the spice rack. The only item we had to buy was regular dish soap, which surprised me since most vacation rentals come with it. I have only two complaints: 1) housekeeping wasn't the greatest. We found a dirty diaper and dirty onesie in a chest in the upstairs bedroom and cheerios in-between the couch cushions. We also picked up 2 kid juice containers out of the yard. 2) and the Livingroom furniture cushions are so worn and uncomfortable that they tilt downward. You can't sit up or lie down without sliding forward or rolling off, so we spent a majority of our time in either the rec room theater chairs or sitting in bed when we wanted to watch TV. All and all, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the house and all it's stained glass work.

We had a wonderful 3-generation getaway at Knole House this week! The kitchen was enormous and super well-stocked with equipment, and the gas range was so much fun to use! Our 5-year-old and 20-month-old LOVED all the toys in the playroom, and the playground, and the whole family made great use of the rec room during the rain. We took advantage of the lovely walk to the beach with the kids and our dog, spending sunny day's making sandcastles, chasing waves and watching for deer and eagles. We ate lunch the sunny picnic tables on the porch!
Both sets of stairs were a little steep for little ones, so we had to rig up some barriers, along with a provided wooden baby gate, just in case. It took awhile for the house to warm up on cold days, but the owners/management team promptly walked us through any questions/instructions.
The separate quiet spaces around the house worked beautifully for online kindergarten, connecting with our offices, and just having a quiet space for awhile. We've already recommended this house to friends!

A secret gem
I stayed here with my family and two dogs over the Pandemic New Year. This place offered the kind of remote solitude we were looking for. The picturesque view out of every window made for a great place to snuggle and read a book during stormy days. Additionally, being able to spend evenings playing pin-pong, air hockey, and basketball games was an added treat. What a beautiful place.
