We just love this property. The view was incredible, home was perfect- they literally have everything you would need, weather was perfect. So relaxing to just listen to the wind. It was so quiet that you could really just hear nature. We highly recommend staying here for a wonderful getaway from everyday life.

We stayed at 6 properties while we vacationed in Utah and this was our favorite. Modern house with spectacular views. The hospitality provided by our host exceeded expectations. Our first night we were late getting to the property. We notified Linda that we couldn't quite find it and within minutes she met us and guided us back to the house. The fridge and cupboards were stocked with goodies which was a nice surprise as well!

Linda and Martin spared no effort in creating an amazing "home away from home." The thought and care they put into their VRBO is apparent when you walk through the door. Everything was curated--& I use that word to convey the care that went into every detail of their amazing VRBO--from the bright natural light in the space to the quality of everything in it. The kitchen was as well-provisioned as our own, and the dishes, flatware, cookware, linens, towels--everything--was of the highest quality. Martin told us that when they decided to build the VRBO, they rented a few themselves, which revealed all the pitfalls they should avoid. Not only did they avoid pitfalls, they went the extra mile to creating an exceptional place to stay. Both Linda and Martin were warm and welcoming. We could not have been more happy with our stay at their place, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. We will book there again when we return to Utah.

We stayed here for the last two nights of our trip to southern Utah before leaving on the road back to Chicago. The house was amazing! It may have been the nicest rental we've stayed in ever. It was very clean and tidy, modern interior design/decor, there was space for our clothing (we had been on the road for 1.5 weeks and some rentals had no room to put our clothing), Linda (our host) had everything we needed including bowls, treats and poop bags for our pups + coffee, tea, soda, water, etc... pretty much anything you may need/want. The view from the back deck was incredible, the neighborhood was nice and quiet, yet close to town and all the parks around it. Overall excellent experience.

House was immaculate. Kitchen extremely well-stocked and the home was very easy to relax in. Bed was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Everything was perfect. Linda checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and we knew she was available if we had a question. Torrey was a charming town and being so close to Capital Reef was very convenient while exploring the area. It was a delightful stay! We hope to be back!!!!!

This home was fabulous! The views from every window were amazing. The rental surpassed our expectations in every way! The patio furniture was comfortable and allowed us to relax after hiking in the park. This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Capitol Reef. Highly recommend!

This place was perfect for a weekend away. Immaculate with tons of nice little touches. The shower was so luxurious after a long hike. Linda was so thoughtful to put out little dog treats and water bowl.

I travel a lot. This by far was the best vrbo ive ever stayed in. They have thought of literally everything. Spices. Condiments. Coffe, hot chocolate and tea. Extra toothpaste if you forget yours. The bed was AMAZING. Wi Fi was great. Views and the area are stunning. It was the perfect base camp for exploring Capital Reef and Grand Staircase. You will not be disappointed. Make sure you pick up all your groceries befoe you leave a big city. In the winter almost everything is closed.

Linda and Martin's home was absolutely fabulous in every possible way. It was so incredibly clean, tastefully and fashionably set up in terms of furniture and decor, and felt so roomy and homey inside. The giant windows and high ceilings make it feel so spacious inside and allow for great views of the country outside. Our hosts were also the kindest, warmest, nicest folks around. I would definitely highly recommend this property and certainly stay again if I had occasion to do so!

We had the pleasure of renting this exceptional accommodation for 51 nights. As full time travelers, we would rank this among the top 5 vacation homes we have stayed in over the last 10 years. The hosts, Linda and Martin, could write the book on how to run a vacation property because everything was flawless. The home was impeccably clean and extremely well stocked. There was food items, coffee, drinks, plenty of paper items, blankets, linens, pillows, bathrobes, cleaning supplies, and plenty of pots and pans, dishes, wine glasses, and even extra toiletry items and a first aid kit. This list could go on....nothing was missing! We also had a gorgeous view in each direction where the red rocks would change colors as the sun moved. The nights were quiet and peaceful under a canopy of stars. The heating and cooling ran perfectly, and the Internet was fast. Our host offered us treats from their garden and homemade baked goods. We also had fun going to the weekly Farmer's Market together. We were sad to leave as we LOVED our stay here.
Capital Reef NP is a few miles away and offers endless hiking. We highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for comfort and pampering in a beautiful setting. This is a true gem! There is a reason so many of the bookings are return visits. There are not many accommodations out there that meet this level of excellence. We will most certainly be back.

In a small town where places to stay on the upper scale range are very limited, this was wonderful! Our kids are super sensitive to noises and the pub in front did not bother any of us at all. If you are doing any hikes along hole in the rock road or out to calf creek, this is really an ideal location.

This little place was absolutely perfect for our visit to Capitol Reef and the surrounding area. The home was clean, comfortable and you can’t beat the views. Linda greeted us on arrival and explained everything, gave us tips on where to eat and was available quickly via phone/text. The kitchen was even stocked with some snacks and essentials (spices, bottled water, soda, popcorn, pasta, cereal, etc) for use. The house is about 10 minutes from the national park and close enough to the town, but just far enough off the beaten path to make you feel like you had your own space. We have no complaints and can’t wait to come back again someday!

My husband, son and I were visiting from Virginia, our first experience of Utah. Torrey's Dark Sky Community & Capitol Reef's Dark Sky Park status were our #1 motivation for making this our destination. We like to 'settle in' and not just touch the surface of a place so we stayed for six nights, making a day trip to Bryce Canyon National Park.
The house was exactly as presented in the listing and resets the high bar for VRBOs (we've stayed in many). It is exceptionally well-stocked including with high quality cookware. Linda was so responsive and helpful. It was the perfect balance of having a host nearby. The house is impeccably clean and comfortable. Wonderful washer/dryer!
The setting is spectacular & convenient to Capitol Reef. Also, access to the Great Western Trail is just a short walk up the road.
Not everyone gets the message about protecting the natural night & stargazing night vision. Of the three guests rotating through the adjacent rental, only one turned off exterior lights overnight. A nearby house also has solar lights and a garage light that impede stargazing/night vision. But this is not within the control of the host,and as a dark sky advocate I understand all too well the challenges of voluntary cooperation with principles of good lighting.
Speaking of natural light, if like us you are from the east coast and/or have never been in a desert environment, it gets bright early in summer so consider having eye masks with you.

Home is Northern Utah and we are able to visit Torrey nearly every year. Loved visiting Capital Reef National Park and Escalante Grand Staircase National Monument in June this time around. The wild flowers were SO AMAZING, we may repeat in late spring again next year.

We have stayed in dozens of vacation rentals, and Linda and Martin’s places (we have stayed in both) are at the head of the class. Clean, comfortable, amazingly well stocked with kitchenware and cooking essentials, plus goodies of all kinds. Awesome views of mountains, weather, sunrises and sunsets. Comfy patio. Nice shower, too. We spent several days exploring in Cathedral Valley, San Rafael Swell and Waterpocket Fold, all wonderful. We also enjoyed the taco trucks in Torrey. Our thanks to Linda and Martin. Linda, had everything that you would ever need including a spice draw that had over 20 spices. In addition, all the dishes and other supplies were of highest quality.
