Louisa's place was a great place to stay for work trip to Windhoek. It was well located in a quiet area 5-10 minutes taxi ride from the centre of town and within walking distance of a mall. I was there for two weeks and didn't want to stay in a hotel. The bedroom, living room and kitchen were separate so I had space to work and relax, and cook for myself. Perfect for my needs.
There as nothing I didn't like. However, if you want a slick modern hotel vibe this probably isn't the place for you.

Incredibly on the 2nd day the room ran out of electricity. The owner told me I had used to much and had to purchase my own electricity. 👀 She then charged me to top up. In 30 years traveling for a living around Africa never have I had that. Otherwise it was nice.

The location was convenient, close to the city centre, but in a quiet part of the suburb. The size of the apartment is generous, with plenty of wardrobe space. Free parking space and efficient free Wi-Fi. Excellent price.
The apartment is not well lit at night. Weak basic light bulbs. The shower was illuminated by the light in the water closet (WC). The base of the iron was dirty and was not suitable for use without being cleaned. As we were in a hurry, did not use the iron. The blinds in the kitchen windows were malfunctioning and did not move down, they got stuck up.

Fantastic apartment with all you need. Louisa, the host, is very helpful and friendly. Only short walk, 15-20min to the centre. Highly recommended.

Very peaceful area with no disturbances.aircon working well
location is on hill and steep walk back from town up to address if you dont travel by car. facilities in kitchen are adequate, but need plastic bowls to snack out of.Shower hit and miss for correct temperature.

Location is great, easy walk to the nearest big shopping mall and the center of town is not far, either.
The owner is very nice and friendly person.
Check out at 9.00-9.30 is a bit too early, unless one has an early flight to catch.

The flat is close to a major shopping mall and to good cafes & restaurants and it is in a quiet, pleasant area of the city. The flat is big; that makes it easy for guests to do things independently without disturbing one another.

The flat is secure and it is quite for in the middle of town. Nice view and privacy.

Louisa’s ONE BED-ROOM APARTMENT was „my home“ for more than 6 weeks, I extended twice !!
It is located in one of the best parts of Windhoek (Luxury hill), secure and quiet, Maerua Mall is in walking distance and everything you need or want to see easy to reach. I enjoyed my fully equipped, very clean, really big but cosy apartment with very nice kitchen, full Dstv included, relaxed in Louisa’s so wonderful garden and had breathtaking sunset every evening.
But what makes this accomodation soooooo special, is LOUISA with her heart of gold !!!!! I travel a lot around the world, but nowhere I met such a SUPERHOST . What Louisa wants, is simple to explain: she wants to make e ve r y t h i n g just PERFECT and extraordinary for her guests….because you’re not just a paying client here, you really can feel as a guest (no matter if you stay for one night or two months). Thank you soooo much !!!
There is a German saying „I still have a suitcase in…..“, that means you want to come back. Louisa, you know…..I still have a suitcase in Windhoek, in ChateauStreet….I WILL COME BACK.

advertised as an apartment but it is an Airbnb I will also suggest that you put a light inside the shower part of the bathroom as it is dark at night when you want to take a shower
