The hostel ran out of water (due to a influx of visitors to the city that night) but owner quick to re-fill the tank. Comfortable bed, free tea.
Nowhere to lock belongings away. Room is 7-bed dorm, not 6. Owners son dismissive when I queried it - told me they can only enter even numbers on Booking.com but that "no one else has had a problem with it". The other staff were very nice and helpful. Interior seemed old/worn. Air con slotted into hole in wall in room - didn't look very safe and could only have it either full blast or off.

The owner of the hostel is a funny and nice person, and you feel comfortable talking to him .. I enjoyed them very much .. Thank you to everyone who was present

The best hostel in Aqaba! Clean , comfortable and reliable hostel.Located In the city center.Shops and restaurants are close to hostel. Beach 900 meters away. Staff are really hospitable and helpful.They have everything what travelers need. comfortable bed, AC, Laundry, Kitchen area, Patio ,Bathroom ,WiFi, Living room and warm atmosphere.

Since I had overstay comment would be same as before. I enjoyed sightseeing of Aqaba and had much of swimming. Sea-water is warm enough, while outside is hot even at start of April. Location is good since 1st stores you pass to the Downtown are much cheaper, so i bought water, coffee etc and continue to downtown or beach. One ice cream was 10 piastels (around 13 cents Euro), for 1 EUR you got bag of ice cream. Half liter water - 0.25 JD. In downtown price is 3× - 4×.
There was one bicycle in terrace, i should ask if it rentable. I saw route which goes to Aqaba airport is so nice. Full of palms and flowers.

Good cook, they make what you like. Bedouin Mendaf was top. Its very clean. Two terraces, lot of Arabian comfort (seats). 2 toilettes with shower. Owner was helpful when i need to buy air ticket, free ride to Royal Jordanian office. Fresh air, flowers around. Free tea. I like terrace in company with cats. Fan and clima in the room. Relaxed atmosphere.
Nothing much to dislike, i prolonged the stay.

I ended up at Al Amer Hostel 2 which is Right by the Red Sea!
If you cannot take noise at night very well, consider staying at the Al Amer Hostel which is in the town center, not by the sea

I just needed a place to sleep for the night, brush my teeth and use the toilet and I got exactly what I needed, I think this place was the cheapest bed in Aqaba.
Although I had absolutely no issues there, this house looks a bit dodgy. It's not very clean, one door leading to the kitchen from the patio is a bit broken and needs to be strongly pushed in order to open it. These are no major problems by any means, but just it adds up to the mediocre experience.

Staying in this hostel was the best decision! Amer and his family received us like their own family! We enjoyed very much the beautiful atmosphere and the people. The breakfasts and dinners are the best in all Aqaba - amazing local food cooked with much love. We also recommend the trip to Wadi Rum, organized by Amer - good price, excellent and unforgettable experience, beautiful location. Thank you for all! Hope we can come back again and for sure we will recommend this hostel for our friends
