We loved stargazing in the hot tub and the fact that we are able to bring our dogs. Staff always helpful and friendly.

We loved Mountainside 86! Canaan Valley is becoming our default getaway and we have made it a yearly tradition to rent a house with Mountaintop Reality in the fall to enjoy the beautiful foliage of Tucker County. We also plan to stay with you all at other times of the year and have recommended you to our friends and family. It's a perfect getaway in West Virginia's hidden gem! They were great! Very informative and helpful!

We had a great time enjoying family time (big bonus that we were able to rent a property that was dog friendly). The house had plenty of beds for my family of 9. We loved that we had lake access as part of the gated community with canoes and kayaks at out disposal. Friendly and helpful staff each time we called.

Evacuated due to Hurricane Florence. The amenities were included which made our evacuation process easy.

We enjoy Mountainside, the wilderness and quiet. I like the access to Dolly Sods at the top. reservation process was very seamless and straight forward

For this property we really enjoyed the open kitchen, living, and dining area adjacent to the side deck doors. We also loved the master bath with its jet tub, sauna, and walk in shower. All staff were pleasent and professional

So, overall our stay was great! But we did not stay in this particular cabin and there was no communication to let us know otherwise. But that was fine, we stayed at a cabin called the “dancing bears” and loved it! It was perfect for us. The check out rules weren’t easy to find, so I hung a sheet of them on the fridge. But I really can’t complain, we had a great stay. It’s in the Canann Valley area & it’s a beautiful home! Hot tub was nice and usable as well & very clean!

House layout was great.. The jet tub was obviously not clean a lot of black Mo came through when to turn the air on .Everything else about the house was great.

Ski trip.

The hot tub was functional! We were looking forward to a hot tub during the snowy weekend and it worked great. Also liked having a garage to store our car overnight! Becky was great. She made the whole experience easy and answered our many questions

Nice house, but some small factors would have made it an easy 5/5 Average experience

This rental was not ready to be rented and property manager wasn't prepared to manage. The first incident was a complete mishandling of the Wi-Fi code. After two days of trying, I figured it out on my own. The second set of surprises related to the lights. It seemed half of them didn't work, including in some very dark bathrooms. The third challenge was the driveway, which in addition to a very steep incline had potholes and gullies. I told the property manager that the driveway was not usable and she said she would pass it along. After getting a flat tire and having the sensors to my car damaged, I was forced to park on the street. Fourth, the review feature of this property didn't work the first time. Net, net: MountainTop was as much as the problem here as the owner. Buyer beware.

Roomy, clean and well kept, have zero complaints and would stay again!!! House was well layed out for a larger group and everyone enjoyed it!!

House was great. Plenty of room, well-stocked kitchen and right near the slopes.
