This is one of our favorite homes to stay in, have visited multiple times and we will be back again. The house is wonderful and the location is perfect . It is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay.The management company was new to us and they were fantastic. They helped us out with several issues and were so pleasant and responsive. The home is so well designed and appealing both indoors and out. A perfect place for a daytime writing retreat and to revisit favorite restaurants and shops afterwards. If you love Carmel, you will enjoy this house during your stay here. Kitchen is well-equipped; fireplaces inside and out; heated floors in the master. We didn’t want to leave. Le sigh… Christopher, who is part of the house management staff solved a small issue for us promptly, and he was personable, efficient and a pleasure to meet. It was a lovely experience returning to stay again at this special home. We hope to return at some future time. Thank you for sharing this gem.

This place is a 10+. The pictures are accurate and everything was so comfortable. There was everything we needed from pots and pans to spices. The area is great as we walked to Mission Ranch and took a great walk along the water. We could have walked to downtown which was a little over a mile. Next time we will stay longer.

3 friends and I stayed at this beautiful house for 3 nights. It was our first time in Carmel and we loved everything about the house, neighborhood, town and beach. This is the most beautiful house I have ever rented through VRBO. All of the rooms were comfortable, the kitchen was large and well appointed, and the backyard sitting area was awesome.

We loved everything about the house. It is beautifully decorated and landscaped. It was immaculately clean and had everything one would need for a comfortable stay. Best of all to us was the location. We could walk to town, but were far enough away that it was peaceful. We were also close to two beaches. I highly recommend this property!

Lovely home, beautiful garden
We've stayed at this property 3 or 4 times over the past 2+ years. The property is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood. The home is tastefully decorated, with a beautiful kitchen and up-to-date amenities. The garden is peaceful with areas for dining outside or reading in comfortable outdoor furniture. It's always spotless upon arrival and the property manager is always very responsive.

The house from the outside seems like a small ordinary Carmel house..But the inside is great. Very charming , nice outdoor space ,wonderful kitchen and fireplaces outside and inside. Inside is updated with nice appliances in kitchen and nice bathrooms…very pleasant . Would rent again. Close to ocean walkable . Can hear waves from backyard. The village is further, may need a car? Can walk but is further .

Absolutely Wonderful House and Location
My friend and I booked the house for a relaxing girl’s weekend in Carmel. The house is absolutely lovely and exceeded our expectations. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. It’s about a 5 min walk down to the beach. We really enjoyed a morning stroll along Scenic Drive, which offers stunning views of the coast. I wish we could have stayed longer.
The checkin process was easy. We will definitely come back again.

Great location near beaches and restaurants. Super quiet and convenient. Well maintained and lots of great extra luxury features such as a heated master bathroom floor. Also loved the indoor/outdoor space sharing. Nice to have the doors open and enjoy the sun and fresh air. I brought my wife to this home as a birthday present. It was very romantic. We'd love to come back again and perhaps bring our 2 daughters and/or perhaps another couple. This is a wonderful property!

We have stayed at this property before and it's a very quiet, comfortable, clean environment inside and out, and an easy walk to Carmel River beach. The property manager is very responsive, although we had no issues during our stays. We hope to continue to return regularly.

It was a wonderful stay with our friends. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, inside and outside. The location was also perfect, walking distance to beach and downtown. The only complaint was the grill had not been cleaned and would recommend a TV in middle bedroom. We would definitely recommend this beautiful home.

Simply amazing
This was one of the most charming and beautiful properties I've stayed. I am especially in love with the fairy tale-like garden in the backyard. Not to mention, the owners and property manager were both very communicative and responsive. My partner and I left a bottle (with sentimental value) behind and they managed to find it and bring it to us! I would give it 6 stars if I could!

4 Days in Carmel
This is the most beautiful cottage! We loved the entire house and lovely backyard. It is a short walk to Carmel River State Beach which we did everyday. The weather was a bit overcast but that's the Northern Calif coast. We walked to dinner in downtown Carmel almost every night. It's about a 25 minute walk through a beautiful neighborhood. We would love to visit again.

Exceptional
Always wanted to have the small, family home in Carmel to pop into where everything is neat, tidy, swish, and Mara Beach is just around the corner?
This house delivers on the entire promise and after about 8 hours we were already trying to sort out when we could come back.
The only downsides are the web access (eg. no signal in the living room) and lack of instructions for any of the systems - both easily remedied by patience and discovering the bin of manuals in the small utility closet just off the kitchen.
Everything else was so dialed in we wound up ditching many of our plans so we could just laze about the backyard and wander about the neighborhood.
We will be back.

Great house in amazing location!
We loved staying at this beautiful home. It was clean, comfortable and very well appointed. The garden area is lovely to be able to eat, relax and spend time outdoors. We were visited by hummingbirds every day and by a friendly western bluebird almost every day. The location is amazing, so close to the beaches, and you could still walk to the commercial area for restaurants and shopping if you like walking. The place is better than the pictures, and the hosts are great and super responsive. Highly recommended!
