There were not enough dishes or glasses The deck needed extensive cleaning before we could use it The grill was greasy and needs a thorough cleaning. The owner said we could use the kayaks but there were only two complete paddles for the four kayaks. Had we known we would have brought our own. The setting is very nice. We enjoyed the house and the lake and would consider coming back.

Played in a tournament and finished the week with a couple more rounds locally. Nice place. Clean and well maintained.

This property was exactly as listed with all the amenities included to enjoy a week on the lake. The location was perfect as we could paddle out and watch the sunsets and even paddle to the beach! The host was very easy to contact with questions and the house was very clean welcoming. It was nice to be located near the front gate so grocery runs were quick and efficient. We are a family of 6 plus 1 pup and we felt we had plenty of room to spread out. We will certainly visit again and highly recommend

We got to spend the Easter holiday together with these beautiful views. Made the holiday so much more special.

A favorite choice when visiting Lake of the Woods

Perfect little lake front property with all the amenities. Great location with plenty of restaurant choices. Short drive to battlefields with an hour plus drive to Luray Caverns or Washington DC. The gated community is very walkable and pet friendly. Sara was an excellent host and was readily available for any questions.

We stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday. It is a wonderful house with all the amenities. The lake views are a bonus and created such a warm and cozy stay. Highly recommend this property.

This property was very clean & just the right size for our little family get away weekend!

We had a very nice time at Lake of the Woods. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the views from the deck and dock. We also ate on the deck at the clubhouse which was wonderful. And had a great time golfing at the beautiful golf course.

We needed a long term stay and Sara was nothing short of amazing. We relocated to VA in Jan.2022. We needed a flexible landlord understanding we were looking to buy a house so extending might be needed. She was so kind and accommodating. We had our two dogs with us as well, which wasn’t an issue. The house was just lovely. Clean, beautiful view, nice neighbors and great area. General shopping minutes away and historic Fred just 20-25 minutes away for dinner dates and shopping. We grew quite attached to this house during our 2 month stay and enjoyed the frequent visit from that cove’s Swan resident. We are looking forward to spending a weekend getaway soon. House was everything my family needed, beautiful view and people in the neighborhood were friendly! Host was very responsive to my questions!

Very nicely decorated house with direct access to a private dock. Perfect layout for a family with 2-4 kids. We had a very relaxing stay and enjoyed the kayaks!

We will stay again! The only complaint is a few cobwebs inside and many outside on lights, windows, deck and outdoor furniture. I wanted to clean myself but husband said no, we are on vacation. We did clean up the yard because it was a trip hazard and we spent much of our time out doors.

Wonderful time at this lovely home. Beds were comfortable. Everything was very clean. Hosts answered all questions in a timely manner! Would recommend!

my family and i stayed here for a week with our dogs and it was lovely. the house was clean and accommodating to our needs. the lake was very enjoyable, though we soon felt there wasnt much to do in the area. there were four kayaks provided which we enjoyed, however there was no row boat or paddleboard provided as listed. we were unable to open the garage door and the backyard was a bit overgrown, but aside from this i really loved staying in the house. i would recommend this home for a family vacation.

This was our first time to Lake of the Woods and we definitely plan on coming back and staying here! From small details like outlet covers to the cleanliness and friendliness of the host, we couldn't rave about this property more. What a great weekend escape!

The house is located on a quiet street, beautiful view of the lake. Easy check in, house has many nice upgrades although the cleanliness was questionable. Air filters were not maintained, very dirty that we ended up purchasing new ones and changing them ourselves. Spiders and cob webs in every room was a little annoying. Not a ton of supplies provided but Walmart is super close by to get whatever you need for your stay. *** All that said, we had a wonderful stay with our family (4 adults, 2 year old boy and our two pups.) Definitely a bonus to have the ability to bring the dogs. We grilled at night, kayaked during the day and took our son to the cute little beach walking distance from the house. We enjoyed Mornings and evening walks on the quiet street with the dogs. Mornings were also lovely overlooking the lake with a cup of coffee. Overall it was perfect, minus some of the things mentioned above. Sara was very pleasant to deal with, and very responsive. I would recommend staying here and we will absolutely be back again soon!

Lovely house, waterfront was not particularly user friendly but we used LOW big beach, would have liked a map of the lake in order to find beaches, pool, restaurant. Several light bulbs were missing and there was no Keurig as advertised. Had a good 6 days.

Being able to spend time on the dock when the sunshine peeked through was such a perk! The vacation rental had all of the comforts of home. The master bed (the only one we used) was so comfortable, not common in a vacation rental. The host even made family friendly recommendations for us to try out and we had a great time at Wilderness Run Brewery + Vineyard. It was the perfect place to get away and relax, even on a rainy weekend! We hope to return when the sun is shining!

Beautiful, peaceful lake community. The house was lovely and clean. It did lack some amenities - no Keurig, very light on towels and dishes. VERY limited kitchen/bathroom supplies - Kelly said due to COVID which makes sense - but we didn't bring quite everything we needed. Kelly did bring us the supplies that we asked for though! Overall a great place for a work retreat! We also had a great time at the Wilderness Run Vineyards/Brewery, only a few minutes away, that Kelly recommended,

We were two couples and two 4 yo boys. We had a lovely time on the water kayaking and swimming off the dock. The neighborhood is lovely, safe and clean. The grocery store was really close. We were an hour away from any sort of hiking that we wanted to do which was difficult to plan but the water kept us occupied for the day we were there! Kelly was very friendly and easy to get in touch with. The house was clean and had just about everything we needed. We would certainly stay again!
