Near and rooms were big and clean

We booked and paid two nights beforehand, but when we were going to check in, they didn't know anything about the booking and said they didn't have any room for us. On the website, it says they have a pool and fitness gym, but the pool was under renovation, and the gym didn't exist. There was mold in the bathroom ceiling. The door to the shower was broken. The bathroom door was also broken. They didn't have aircon in the hallways, etc. Breakfast was really bad, didn't have a lot of options.

Size of room and bed

No restaurant, no pool. The extended foyer area air conditioner was turned off at 5pm. No air-conditioning in lifts and passageways. Serious water leak in ceiling next to room 216 Have to order from over priced food from menu to be outsourced, and the menu is in Chinese

Our final room was comfortable. The staff did their best when we let them know what was wrong but there wasn’t a lot they could do about most things. The porter was nice.

We read reviews saying that this hotel wasn’t worth 5 stars and we should’ve believed them. The pool is currently being refurbished which they didn’t put online and we booked it because of the pool so we couldn’t do anything during the day. The first room they showed us to already had a couple checked in which was awkward when we walked in on them getting changed. The second room we were given was dirty. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned ( the bath had dirt in), there was stains on the wall and the room was average - not a 5 star hotel room. We told them and then had to wait 20 minutes for another room when we had already paid for an early check-in. The final room was average but not set up for 3 people and didn’t have the jacuzzi bath our previous room did. The breakfast the next morning was bad. The eggs were cold and most things had run out and were not re-filled. They didn’t have many western options it was mainly rice and noodles for breakfast and nothing was hot.

Spaceous rooms, comfortable beds, the hotel was clean and quite close to the airport which was important for us.

The pool. We wanted to dip in the pool after a long flight, but only till we saw it. The pool was very small and very dirty.
