We have stayed at this cozy location numerous times and always enjoy the view of Lake Superior and the proximity to hikes, beaches as well as downtown Munising. Can’t wait to return next year!

Kate was very friendly! We had problems getting in as we had the wrong code... however, Kate very quickly took care of that. The place is very clean with comfortable mattresses. Beautiful views from the porch! Sunrises were especially beautiful to watch (& then go back to the comfortable beds)! Could use luggage racks in bedrooms to keep things off the floor... but that was a very minor thing. Everything was provided. Would stay again! Would be nice to have at least one dedicated parking spot but that was minor too... thank you for a wonderful week Kate!!

After booking we received an email to say it was cancelled so we tried to get out money back. That required going thru the credit card folk. Turns out the “cancellation” was a scam so we ended up spending 3 nights in this very nice property.

Worked well for what we needed while in Munising. Within walking distance of some of the popular boat tours (right next-door to the glass bottom boats) When we went there was some road construction to deal with on the way to town, but it was still fairly easy to get around and access the location.

My wife and I stayed here a week and were very pleased. We ate dinners on the deck, enjoying the wonderful view of Munising Bay. The location is west of downtown, next door to the place that offers shipwreck tours and also close to the city boat launch and a couple of pontoon rental companies. We loved watching all the boat traffic on the water and didn't mind the lines of shipwreck tour customers walking just past our door. (Things get very quiet after dark.) Kate was a great host, responding very quickly to a couple of small issues.

This property is perfect for those seeking day hikes, water activities or mountain biking in the Munising area. Comfortable, cozy and well equipped loft on Munising Bay.

Our only suggestion would be thicker curtains in the living room since you could see into the home at night through the sheers. A designated parking space would also be nice. There were a few times we couldn’t find a spot when people were getting on the boats. We had a great time and would gladly return!

It was super easy to get in once we got there. The open layout of the place is excellent. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook. The location is super quiet and a quick ride to all the good stuff in the Munising area. Thanks Kate!

We had a great time staying at this vacation rental, gorgeous view of the lake, close to everything, very convenient parking including cruises and Kate was easy to communicate with. Just a little cleaning issue on the drawers with The dish towels There are traces of roaches eggs I think other than that everything was all clean. The whole place is actually nicer than how it is in the pictures, they can enhance their pictures on the web for better advertisement if I may suggest. I will definitely look forward in getting back.

PERFECT!! The house was clean, had a deck we sat on all the time with a BEAUTIFUL view, and was just the right size!! And the washer/dryer came in very handy. It was in a great location, just the right amount of activity but not too busy and close to town. My son would walk down to one of the docks below us and watch the sun set. Kate was BEYOND AMAZING!!! She was quick to respond to all our needs, but she went way beyond when our car died and we were stranded an hour away. I called her and she IMMEDIATELY came to pick us up and help us! She is a good person!! I would highly recommend Kate and her property and would come back and stay anytime!!

We had a fantastic stay. Very clean, comfortable beds, and a wonderful view of the bay from the deck! We liked watching the tour boats coming and going, but that does make this location busier by the waterfront. We liked that, but if you want total serenity, maybe this would bother you. We wanted to grill, but the tank was out of propane. I texted Kate at night and it was filled promptly the next day. We are planning to visit again, there is so much in the area we didn't see yet and this is a great base!

We loved this villa. Very clean, quiet and beautiful views of a Lake Superior. Great location for hiking, biking, waterfalls, and cafes. We will be back! Thank you!

We were very pleased with our stay in Munising. The home was very accessible in town and had everything we needed for our family of 5. Kate was a wonderful host and responded quickly when I asked questions. This home was the perfect size and had everything we needed, including washer/dryer, comfortable beds, full well-stocked kitchen, Wifi, and gorgeous views. My 11 yr old son loved the futon and slept comfortably on it. The Roku TV was a bonus when we decided on a movie night after a long day of playing at the beach and hiking. We would definitely recommend this home to any small family looking for a place to stay in Munising.

Not only was this a perfect location, with some friends being right next-door, but I also provided quick access to any amenities we needed. Our hosts were absolutely amazing, and we look forward to another state in the near future!

Since we live downstate, we had had no snow as of Christmas and were anxious to x-country ski and snowshoe. Munising snow was spectacular . . . we had 12 inches our first night there. (The parking lot and walk at the cottage was cleared by 10 A.M.) The cottage fulfilled all our expectations, and the views of the bay were amazing! Thank you Kate for being a gracious hostess. My wife, myself and two kiddos had a FANTASTIC stay here. The place were absolutely perfect. It was very clean and in a great location in relation to town, various waterfalls and anywhere else you needed to get to around Munising/Pictured Rocks. We enjoyed our coffee while taking in early morning sunrises over the bay each day, and took advantage of the glass-bottom shipwreck tour vouchers. Our kids also had a blast with the family of ducks that greeted them by the shoreline each day. Kate was a joy to communicate with, and was very prompt and accommodating. We'd love to come back and stay here again!

This place was really nice. It was clean and comfortable. Great deck overlooking the bay. There is the shipwreck tours next door but the people coming and going to get on the boat. The only thing we didn’t like is sometimes it was hard to park bc they didn’t have a designated space for the rental cottage so both parking lots would frequently fill up. That was our only complaint.
