Size of the place qas nice. It was very close to town.

How steep the driveway was is an issue u less you have 4WD vehicle. Bathroom wallpaper falling off the wall and shower head needs replacing.

The property was fairly easy to find but you had to bypass the driveway, turn around in your neighbors driveway then approach yours. The house was clean other than some mold in the downstairs bathroom. The wallpaper is coming apart from some walls. The sectional needs to be burned in a bon fire along with the bed. The bed was bowed in the middle and we both have back trouble so it became very uncomfortable. We couldn't move to the sectional because it came apart and when you sat on it you could feel the boards underneath barely holding it together. It needs to be trashed. The cabin was very close to two other cabins so you didn't have a lot of privacy. When you were in the hot tub or on the patio, your neighbors could see whatever you were doing. The hot tub cover had been damaged by bears because you could tell where they had tried to get into it, which explains why it was locked. However we had a pass code to remove the lock so we could get into it. The upstairs closet had no doors. The upstairs bathroom shower had very little room, you clung to the shower curtain which is gross. The downstairs bathroom had no plug in to dry your hair so yo had to do it at the bedroom dresser with an extension cord. Starting on the night before we were supposed to check out, I received a text reminding us to check out. The morning of check out, I received two text for the same thing, plus when I checked my email, there were 2 emails reminding us to check out. We have been staying in Gatlinburg every November since we got married 35 years ago. I think we were well aware of our check out time. There were a list of rules on the refridge including the checkout time, which was 10:00. We were advised not to be 1 minute late checking out or there would be a $100.00 charge, no exceptions. I took a picture of the list of rules. We are in out late 50's and are very responsible people and have stayed in about 30 different cabins and none had these type of restrictions.
