Hosts were very accommodating, everything you need to feel at home was supplied. Would be happy to stay again if travels send us that direction.

We enjoyed the house. It was a nice location and had great amenities. The only issue was the air conditioning. It was a smart thermostat that kept going up to 76 at night without us changing it, so no one slept well.

We needed a place for 4 adults close to Helotes for a concert. This little beauty was perfect for our needs. It’s a guesthouse behind the owners’ home but it’s super quiet, there’s a nice rooftop deck with a fire pit to sit and enjoy the scenery, and it was immaculately clean and well decorated. Hreat communication from the owners who didn’t not need to be prompted to give us keypad codes or instructions —very rare these days!! Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable for our family of four. It had everything we needed to prepare meals. The owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. It was very quiet and peaceful.

We enjoyed our stay at your beautiful home. We took advantage of the kuerig coffee in the morning. The space was just right for the 3 of us. We surprised by all the deer in the neighborhood. Hugo and Heidi greeted us every time we came back from our excursions. San Antonio is a great place to visit! Thank you for your hospitality!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The hosts couldn't have been more accommodating. Very nice people. They have gone above and beyond to make the house comfortable and have added many touches you won't find anywhere else. The location is set in amongst lots of oak trees with deer aplenty. We will definitely stay here again.

The check in was easy. Lots of deer. Nice upstairs deck to enjoy in the evening or morning. Overall a lovely place that I will recommend to others and would definitely stay at again.

My husband and I rented this place for a few days with our 4 small kids and we all really enjoyed it! The host is very responsive and the place was clean and comfortable! Definitely would recommend staying here if visiting San Antonio.

This stay was for a "late" Mother's Day gift - I brought my mother down from north Texas to see The Bellamy Brothers at Floore's Country Store - we both LOVE to listen to live music. The check-in process was a breeze - the property owner sent instructions the day before our arrival I believe and they were simple. Shortly after we arrived he came out of the "main" house to meet us, ask if we needed anything, and ensure that we were completely comfortable. He stayed in contact regularly, but not so as much to be a bother - we were glad for the contact. We had a 350 mile drive home and he and his wife were so classy as to ask for a text or a message via the app when we arrived home so they could make sure we were safe. We really appreciated this - it was NOT as if we were just another renter to provide him with revenue - we met really GOOD people, which are rare these days. I would change nothing - our stay was so comfortable - it felt like home away from home! I highly recommend this property - I know that when I come back to the San Antonio area I will look to see if it is available for me to stay again!

This was a great stay the amount of deer you can see roaming is amazing but the humidity of the house cannot be overstated the thermometer said the humidity stayed above 75% and got to as high as 90% in the house

We had no problem communicating wish the owner, and he always insisted to let him know if there was any issues. The amenities we got the comforts of a home with the luxury’s of a fine hotel. The scenic drive was like a picture perfect post card with deer surrounding the landscape. The home was updated with the latest technologies from light censors, wifi internet, right down to the lighted toilet. The over all stay was excellent.

Girls trip, pictures are outdated severely, and thankfully 1 of us lived in the area so we carpooled in 1 vehicle or there would have been no parking. I was looking forward to enjoying coffee on the roof with my girls like the pictures suggested but it’s NOT as pictured. Paint chipped, no glass in the table, no pad in the chairs, and there was a ladder and paint on the deck. We checked in late in the evening the first night and within 30 minutes we received a knock on the door stating the futon sheet was not put in the rental by the maid so they were bringing it to us. I felt like this could have been done before we were there not after we arrived especially since the check-in instructions were extremely clear that there were cameras and they would be making sure know one stayed over the number of allotted guests. Also, this house is located right behind the owners house and we had a hard time sleeping with dogs barking, in the area their were several around including the owners, whose seemed to be sweet but should have been put up when we were trying to pack to leave. I was also not happy with the listing showing that the check out time was noon, but when I received the information it was 11 and when I asked why their was a difference given no answer. Although the accommodations suited us for the weekend we will not be returning. The master bedroom and bed was extremely comfortable, but upstairs twin beds were not, and the futon was ok. It was a 3 at best but if your looking for privacy this is not the place for you. Please note that that the owners did respond immediately to communication and respectfully, we were grateful for that!

We truly enjoyed our stay and were amazed how nice and clean the place was! Our host Adams was super friendly and attentive!!! Great place - we highly recommend!

We stayed for a few days, with our 2 teen kids. The home is very comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. The staircase is very narrow, but we didnt have any issues navigating it. There are a number of amenities that made the stay comfortable; from automatic lights, heated toilet seat and bidet, to a fully stocked kitchen. The two dogs are so sweet, our daughter spent lots of time petting Hugo. The owners were very responsive while still allowing for privacy. We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again if in the area.

Wonderful hosts! House was exactly as described. Very clean. Away from city, (saw deer everyday roaming the neighborhood) but close enough to enjoy the downtown attractions. Extra bonus - coming from dog lovers - Heidi & Hugo are adorable!
