Everything was good.

Everything you need for a hotel was there in a very good state, pretty pleasant stay!

Bathroom was too small!

Location. As advertised, it was very good. Recommended.

Late check in - nobody around. Had to get another guest to check me in. Landlord in shower, had to wait 10 mins despite ringing bell and mobile.

Easy check in. Very quiet and comfortable. Spotlessly clean.

Some biscuits would be nice to have with the cup of tea I had from the kettle in the room ! (-:

No staff present

The staff was welcoming once we arrived, which is always a plus. The room was very comfortable and clean, and we loved the tea and coffee. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

Bed was ok

Never saw any staff Just got key out of safe box and let myself in. When i first walked in to hall the smell was foisty

The location, and the ability to park outside

The beds were too soft. The room was too hot. The sound proofing of the walls meant that we could hear our neighbours, and vice-versa. The communal areas smelt of cabbage.

Communication with the staff was very straightforward. Free parking outside the guesthouse was much appreciated. Very clean room and bathroom.

I liked how the WIFI password was clearly displayed, the shower and bathroom was clean

For the price you get what you pay for, if I was to be nitpicky, I saw a spider, a small one, and some corners were a bit grubby, but it wasn't too bad

Location was good, bedroom and bathroom was perfect, cosy and qarm

Warm, clean and comfortable. Good wifi, good location, free parking. Flexibility with a later checkout.

Room was a bit cramped with two beds in - the room was too small to be a twin in my opinion. Noise from other guests - I was woken at 2.45 a.m and kept awake for some time by people crashing about and talking in the room above. As far as I could see there were apparently no staff on site which one might expect in a typical guest house. The pricing of £50 per night for room only seems roughly in line with the going rate for the area, but I feel it’s overpriced. Communication not brilliant - Tried calling several times and left two messages prior to my stay, but received no reply.

Ensuite was lovely to have. Room warm. Quite location but close enough to train station.

Mattress a little too soft for my liking.
