My family of 4 adults and 1 child had a wonderful stay at Philippes home in Paris. We struck some heatwave weather but survived well due to fans and the fact the apartment wraps around a central courtyard. This means when it is hot in one room you can usually find a room where it is cooler.The apartment is also situated near many cafes, bars and metros. Communicating with Philippe was so easy and he was very kind to solve our issue when we accidentally left the keys in the apartment. Thankyou Philippe for a fantastic stay!!

This wonderful apartment was the ideal space and location for our intergenerational family of 7! The apartment is so spacious that we all had privacy in our rooms and hardly heard each other except when we gathered together in the sunny living room or kitchen. Every room opens to the courtyard which allows for a wonderful cross ventilation breeze. The kitchen is extremely well appointed with every modern high end appliance (Bosch dishwasher and washing machine and dryer), and a wonderful array of dishes, glasses, mugs, etc. Philippe is extremely generous in leaving paper supplies and items such as coffee and spices. Living in the Latin Quarter was wonderful with all sorts of cafes, markets, and restaurants nearby and the neighborhood is quiet and charming. Every evening we enjoyed walking down the street to Rue Mouffetard to buy wine, cheese and sundries for happy hour and breakfast. We could not have had a better place to stay in Paris!

If traveling with a large group can’t say enough about this place! Large,clean, many amenities provided, immediate response when I reached out with questions. Would definitely return to stay next time I visit Paris!

I highly recommend this apartment. We had 7 total people stay with us, including 2 kids, for a wedding. The neighborhood is very nice, safe and close to the subway, bus lines, restaurants and grocery stores. Philippe and his wife welcomed us when we arrived. Their home is clean, large and well kept. It has a washer/dryer and the kitchen has everything you will need. It’s on the 4th floor so you can walk or take a small elevator. We felt comfortable and we were very happy with our choice to stay there. Philippe is a great host and was very communicative with us via WhatsApp if we had questions about our stay.

We loved Phillipe’s apartment. It was homey and well located close to metro, taxis, shopping and Rue Moufettard. We felt at home in this roomy place and finished our evenings listening to music and recapping our Paris adventures. Great for our multi-generational family. The elevator was a treat too!

Everything about 19 avenue des Gobelins and its attentive host Philippe was 5-star! Thank you Philippe for making your beautiful apartment available to our family for this very special (once in a lifetime) vacation. My wife and I, along with our two sons and their partners, stayed in Philippe's apartment for 7 glorious days during the first week of the French Open tennis championships. The apartment was exceptionally large (for Paris) allowing all couples a welcome degree of privacy. In addition to being spacious the apartment was meticulous, well furnished and stocked with everything we needed. This included two showers and a bathtub along with endless hot water! We also enjoyed the beautiful living room with floor to ceiling windows and elegant shutters. In addition to the 3 bedrooms there was also a den with a pull-out sofa, TV and desk/chair. The Gobelins neighbourhood was also exceptionally convenient. Located in the 5th arrondissement, just outside the busy tourist area, we had access to the transit and bus systems within short walks from our front door. Cafe's, bakery's & markets were also in our neighbourhood. We couldn't have asked for a better location. We highly recommend this apartment and its kind/efficient host Philippe. Thank you again! We will forever treasure our memories of Paris!

Great apartment. Quiet bedrooms. Good beds. Very clean. The manager was so helpful when one of our group became Ill He told us what clinic to call. The SOS Medecin clinic is very close if needed. Grocery stores, pharmacy, and boulangeries all very close. Taxi stand at the corner. . The elevator is small of course but works very well. Perfect apartment.

We had 3 generations on this family vacation. There was enough room in the apartment for all of us to have our own space. The building has an elevator which is very helpful. The area is close to the metro and bus stops. There are plenty of cafes, bakeries, and other food shopping all within walking. We felt at home and would love to come back again. Thank you Mr. Charles for making us feel welcomed.

My family stayed during Christmas week and had a fabulous time. The place had enough room for 6 adults and Charles was a wonderful host. The apartment was close to stores, restaurants, metro and bus. I highly recommend.

The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. We were four adult women and each enjoyed our own space. The kitchen is large and multiple bathrooms make life easy. The communication with the owner was outstanding. He contacted me several times through WhatsApp while we were there responding immediately to any questions I had. The neighborhood is charming with markets nearby including the market on rue Moufftard. Transportation is literally just outside the front door. Bus and metro lines are easily available as are grocery stores and pharmacies. I highly recommend this apartment and this owner

This is a great apartment and it is also in a great location; the metro station is only a block away and there are a lot of very good restaurants, shops, and grocery stores all within walking distance. During our stay, we had just a few questions for Philippe, which he addressed right away. Overall a great stay at Philippe's apartment!

Paris review Really enjoyed our stay. A very spacious apartment with a wonderful attractive living room. Excellent location near fabulous food markets and transportation. As 4 unrelated adults, we used 4 sleeping spaces, a couple of which presented challenges - 1 no hanging or storage and 1 with twin beds but no tables (water/books etc on floor) or working lamps - but an overhead light. Owners personal belongings, trinkets, clothes, food etc were evident and took up a lot of space in kitchen and some bedrooms. We felt like they had just stepped out and we were living in their space and mingling our things with theirs - especially in the kitchen. Our 1st VRBO in Europe, so this may be the custom unlike the US where most/all living space, closets, cabinets, and drawers are empty and available to renters. In any case we really appreciated Phillippe and Christine’s hospitality, the lovely bottle of wine and complimentary coffee. Missing Paris already! Merci beaucoup.

We so enjoyed our one-week trip to Paris, and this apartment was a huge part of that. Communication with Philippe was easy- he is very responsive and patient (it was my first time with VRBO). The location of this apartment could not be better. The street is beautiful, the Rue Mouffetard market is so close and is just incredible, the Gobelin Metro station is just across the street, and the Place d'Italie Metro station is about a 7 minute walk away. There are many shops all around- cafés, boulangerie, restaurants, pharmacies, wine shops, larger grocery stores, fromagerie, florists, and more. We really appreciated the early check-in, and were met right out front upon our arrival. Philippe was sure to message us before we arrived, and got our flight info so he knew when to expect us, and then texted again once we landed. Our tour of the unit was really helpful. The unit itself is just as picture- it is very big, very French, and very well maintained. It very much felt like home. The building itself is quiet. We felt very safe in this unit, in this neighbourhood. We traveled with myself, my partner, my elderly mother and our two young children, and this unit provided lots of space for us to have time together and to also have some alone time to recharge. This apartment and manager are so deserving of their 5 star reviews! Bon voyage!

The apartment is located close to Metro Les Gobelins and to Mouffetard and Monge markets and areas of interest in the 5eme and central parts of Paris. An excellent place for a holiday in Paris.

This apartment is a gem. It is spacious, comfortable, and clean. It worked perfectly for our family. It has a full kitchen, 4 washrooms, and laundry. The location is great. It is about half a block from a Metro. It is about one block from the market and restaurants on Rue Mouffetard. The neighborhood is safe, but also lively. The hosts were attentive and helpful. We would love to stay there again in the future.

Our family (2 adults, 2 teens) had a wonderful time at the apartment. The apartment is beautiful, gets wonderful light, is thoughtfully furnished, is quiet, and it had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen is well-stocked in a way that makes it easy to cook (spices, oil, etc., plus coffee and coffee machine), and is close to a supermarket and several street markets. It is in a great location and an easy walk to the metro. The host is helpful and was available if we needed anything. I would happily stay there again and recommend it to friends. It made for a memorable trip celebrating a family milestone.

We visited this large apartment in June as a party initially of three, then added various daughters and friends to become a party, for a couple of days, of eight. There was plenty of space and privacy for all, although we’d recommend the place as most comfortable for a party of six. The three main bedrooms are on the courtyard side of the building; they were very quiet at night. The location is the very best aspect of this apartment. We walked easily to the major sights of Central Paris. Public transportation is close by. Uber is easily obtained and very reasonable as are taxis. There are bakeries, cafe’s and a variety of restaurants right outside - all pretty reasonable. Phillipe was very responsive to any inquiries we had. We were comfortable here and enjoyed our week-long stay.

I only have wonderful things to say about this apartment, Philippe and Christine. This was a trip my family and I planned for a year and it was truly a dream come true. We needed and apartment that was big enough for 7 people. This apartment was even more than that, it just felt like home. It is very spacious with a half circle layout. It was comfortable with a beautiful living room area, an well equipped kitchen, a TV room, 3 rooms and several bathrooms. It is within minutes of Rue the Mouffetard and every morning we would go to the market to buy fresh baguettes, croissants, fruits, cheese. It was truly an amazing experience. My daughter became friends with the local vendors and even had the opportunity to practice her French to buy croissants. We visited during the strike and the metro wasn’t working. There is an accesible taxi stand in the corner. Other days we walked. It took us about 35 minutes to get to Notre Dame, after that walking to other sight seeing areas in Paris was a great experience. Phillip and Christine were wonderful hosts. They were there for the check-in process and showed us the apartment. They also have a booklet where they explain everything about the apartment and give recommendations of where to go and where to eat. The also have us a delicious bottle of wine. The communication process was also easy, prompt and attentive. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the hosts and the apartment. We had an issue with a wall that we accidentally stained in one of the bedrooms. Without complications Phillip discounted the money to fix it from of our deposit. We apologize for the inconvenience. Overall it was an incredible experience and we thank Phillip and Christine for their hospitality.
