So cozy, well equipped, the bathroom was fabulous. The location was great and in such easy reach to the town centre. We didn’t want to leave. Claire the host is fantastic nothing was too much trouble, we will definitely return.

Could do with a footstool in the lounge, especially when 4 adults as the sofas are cozy.

Everything was perfect. The house/cottage was well maintained and had every thing required during the trip. The toys were a bonus for my kids.

Great location for walking into bowness, actually managed to park fairly easily. Stunning cottage, comfy beds, very cosy and clean.

Externel door to stick a bit, but not a major problem. Log fire was lovely, just remember to bring some logs.

Beautifully presented cottage, tastefully renovated and decorated throughout. Has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break. Great then centre location.

Beautiful home from home, furnished and cleaned to perfection. Lovey arrival hamper meant no need to rush to the shops before unpacking. Located right in the centre of Bowness with parking permit included which meant we were free to come and go without worrying too much about where to park. Thoughtful touches throughout such as umbrella’s and torches to loan as well as blankets to cosy up on cooler nights.

Only small issue is the steep steps which can get icy and the doors sticking in the cold but not much the owner can do about the weather 😁

This is our second stay and is now our favorite place to stay in bowness on Windermere and we have been coming to Bowness every year for 14 years.

Excellent location , there is a pub literally at the bottom of the road . The cottage was home from home with everything you need for a comfortable stay , the sticky toffee pudding , sweets , selection of hot drinks was a lovely surprise.

I loved how beautiful and cosy the cottage was. Decor was perfect, beds were so comfortable. Nice large bathroom which is having a new refurb installed in November. In the perfect location, nice and quiet but within walking distance to everything in Bowness. Would definitely stay again.

I was disappointed that there was no logs ( other than a 90min burn log) for the lovely stove in the cottage. If I’d known or been made aware I could have brought our own from home. I was looking forward to cosy evenings in front of the fire after a long day around the lakes.

Everything . Communication was amazing brilliant detailed instructions to get to the property and how to park . The whole house was so clean. Home from home feel . Perfect for our family and our dog . Even toys and dog treats available. We loved the sweet treats for the adults to and the cartmel sticky toffee pudding in the fridge . Such a personal touch to the stay .we can not what to come back . Thank you

Parking was an issue due to alot of building work going on however we had two cars. One car would be fine

An exceptionally clean property in a perfect location to enjoy a family holiday in the Lakes.

Location is perfect, only just outside the main area of Bowness. Immaculately clean, comfortable with lots of lovely homely touches. Extremely well equipped kitchen and again everything immaculate.
