Loved my stay here. Situated in a local fishermen area with very accommodating citizens, lovely view to the sea. It's a really nice place to chill. Amazing sunsets. Bed a bit firm/hard. Everything a bit worn down but well functioning. Well situated for exploring the island on a bicycle/motorbike.

Abbiamo scelto questo posto perché eravamo molto interessate a visitare la parte occidentale e settentrionale dell'isola, possibilmente fuori dai grandi centri turistici e dal caos cittadino. La posizione, non comodissima ma all'interno di un centro locale popoloso e poco turistico, ci è piaciuta molto. Il servizio di noleggio del motorino e di pick-up con l'aeroporto sono stati molto efficienti. Il personale alberghiero, assieme a quello dei piccoli esercizi commerciali intorno alla struttura, è molto giovane e forse ancora un po' inesperto di accoglienza ma sempre pronto a cercare di venire incontro alle nostre esigenze. Comunicazione su internet e con le receptionist molto puntuale, grande gentilezza e buoni consigli sugli itinerari da seguire.

Più che "by the beach", la struttura sarebbe da descrivere come "by the sea". Si affaccia sul mare, ma non c'è spiaggia o un passaggio comodo e pulito dove potersi fare il bagno e avere dei servizi comodi, quindi fate attenzione alle foto e alle descrizioni, che si potrebbero sicuramente migliorare e rendere più fedeli alla realtà. Nella parte all'esterno che si affaccia sull'acqua, c'è un piccolo cordolo di cemento da dove poter guardare il mare (tramonti splendidi), ma non ci sono le condizioni per potersi trattenere. Abbiamo avuto l'impressione che fosse tutto un work in progress, ancora tenuto male: per la bellezza del mare lo spazio esterno avrebbe un grande potenziale ma per ora molto sporco, con topi, blatte e rifiuti ovunque: meglio usarlo come punto di partenza per esplorare le spiagge altrove. La camera, così come sponsorizzata su booking, purtroppo non era fedele alla descrizione. Abbiamo alloggiato a Chill House per 4 notti e forse almeno un cambio di asciugamani sarebbe stato consono. Avendo pagato un prezzo molto conveniente per alloggiare, non avevamo grandi pretese, ma pensavamo di poter avere almeno un passaggio d'aria o una finestra (che sembrava esserci dalle foto di booking) ma non è stato così. La camera si affacciava su un corridoio a vetri chiuso e non c'era alcun affaccio all'esterno né passaggio d'aria. Trovandoci al mare ed essendo andate a Phu Quoc per quello è stato un vero peccato. La finestra della stanza non si poteva lasciare aperta perché affacciando sul corridoio di passaggio per tutti non ci dava sicurezza, soprattutto di notte. L'ingresso della palazzina dove abbiamo alloggiato era poco pulito, usato come lavanderia e mancante di uno spazio comune dove poter stare, cosa che ci avrebbe aiutato non avendo finestre in camera.

Kein richtiger Zugang zum Meer in Apartment 32. Du musst über Mauern und große Steine kraxeln, um direkt von der Unterkunft zum Wasser zu kommen.

Good communication in English prior to checkin. They also provided bikes for use at reasonable cost and free use of washers.m

Do not accept anything apart from cash. I had to wire transfer them money at that very moment of checkin.

l’emplacement au bord de l’eau, le calme, au cœur d’un authentique village de pêcheurs. chambre familiale pour 4 confortable. magnifique coucher de soleil, pas de touristes.

un peu loin des commerces et restaurants. il faut être véhiculé impérativement ou prendre un grab/taxi. sinon possibilité de se faire livrer à manger via Grab.

We thought we had booked another room but the room we received was incredible, I literally walked out of the door and was on the beach. What an incredible experience. Keep up the amazing work, it was great to be there.

The wifi was a little shoddy but when you're in Phu Quoc you're hopefully going to be busy doing things and not on your phone the whole time. Other than that, there were no real problems with the place.

the views are breathtaking, the staff are really friendly and helpful, and the location is tucked away and quiet, yet close to everything.

The beds are really hard and uncomfortable, considering the price of the accommodation I think new, better quality mattresses are in order! We did have a great stay nonetheless. Also worth noting that staying here on a National Holiday might not be ideal if you’re looking to relax. The day after New Year’s a group of neighbors were blasting karaoke at a very unreasonable volume all day long, and resting was impossible. This is the main downside of staying in a more local area I suppose.

It is really what it was name for🥰🥰 I love the fact that I will be able to see and hear the beach when I left my room in the morning. And it is really strong beach like at night as well when the sound of wave lingering our ear. It was a bit noisy tho but I have no complain about it. Although so, the room is private and the view is stunning. The host is friendly but not really proactive. But again, it is not a complain😅😅😅. I would recommend it as it is really a clean and comfort place to stay.
