Really nice and clean place. The staff was friendly and respectful. At night the stars look amazing and during the day the whole wadi rum area looks like you are in Mars! No wonder they filmed the movie The Martian here! A must come for everyone. Their Jeep safari was really exciting and the sunrise camel ride was fun. Honestly will come back again!

Cheap campsite with a hearty delicious dinner and breakfast. The camp also offers trips at a very good price. The staff is very friendly, so you will feel welcome and comfortable there.

Our host and guide for the jeep tour,Awwad did everything to give us the best experience possible. The tent was comfortable, the food excellent. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Staying at this camp was one of the best experiences of my life. They pick you up at parking close to the visitors center and drive you to the camp, which has breathtaking view to the desert. Accomodation in the camp was beautiful and clean, bed was comfortable with blankets to keep you warm during cold night in dessert. Also, the surrounding of the camp is stuning with lot of places to discover and go for a hike. At the evening, we had delicious dinner with much food to choose from and also chicken prepared in traditional way in the ground. After that, evening continued by the fire - the athmosphere was just perfect! In the morning delicious dinner was waiting for us and there was plenty of food to choose from again. We also went for a camel tour, which was amazing and only for 20 JOD. Awwad and other people in the camp were very friendly and welcoming, the service in the camp was perfect. I wish we had more time to spend in this camp, everything was just perfect!

Communicating and meeting up with Awwad was easy. He was really responsive. We were met and they sorted sorted a packed lunch for us to take on our Desert tour. Abdulla our guide and driver was a lovely guy, really fun, friendly and helpful. He gave us info whenever we needed it without ever crowding us and took us to lots of amazing scenic spots. The camp itself was fine. Clean and serviceable. The shower was hot, but bring a sarong or towel. The evening meal was delicious, salads, hummus, breads and the meat and vege cooked underground. Sitting by the fire listening to the oud player and drinking tea was great. For the price to get all this and breakfast as well was amazing value.

Nothing really. I was there in March so it was really cold at night, but I knew it would be so you deal with it.

Honestly, this was one of the best place I ever stayed in my life... and believe me... I am a flight attendant, so I have stayed in many many good locations in my life ! The camp was at one of the most beautiful location in Wadi Rum desert.. just opening the door of the room and seeing the landscape was breath taking ! It was like being on another planet ! The facilities were very clean. The staff was so amazingly nice with us.. it´s like they were always behind us trying to make us happy, like in a luxus hotel. Also, we had the best food of our holidays in this location. There was plenty of vegetarian and healthy options. Finally, the atmosphere between the guests was amazing. We were people from so many different background and age and nationality, but everybody was socializing with everybody while giving each other space. It was such a relaxing vide, I wish I stayed there longer ! Finally, Awwad was so extremely friendly and welcoming with us and Abduleh was one of the best guide I ever had ! And all the other guests around me shared the same experience :)

Honestly, I have nothing bad to say. THIS WAS JUST THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE HOLIDAYS ! Of course it stays a camping experience in a cold desert in the 2nd dryest country in the world. So expect cold mornings and low water in the shower... but yeah... this is what you signed for right ?

This is a Bedouin tent so it is normal that you wouldn’t have an en suite or a Hypnos mattress. What makes this place exceptional is the welcome and care Awwad gave us. We met his lovely family, ate the best food we had in Jordan ( we had been staying at Movenpick and Hilton before getting here. Hands down the best food we had.) Awwad took us to the desert and it was magical. We felt safe and looked after. Awwad speaks great English and genuinely cares about his guests. My kids 13&10 loved sand boarding, climbing and driving around the desert with the wind in their faces. This is one of the most interesting places they have been. Devices won't work here and are not necessary: the beauty of the desert, the stars, the food, the camels, the Bedouins are way more intriguing than any game. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Awwad

It was first time in my life I stayed in such camping! I was picked up in the village and delivered to the camp and next day delivered back to the village. Dinner and breakfast were very good and tastive. Taking December's temperature into account it was pretty warm to sleep in my camp! Also I ordered a 4hours desert tour, it was memorable, thanks to Awwad, my guide!

The camp was beautiful, comfortable and exceptionally clean. The food was great and the staff were extremely helpful. We took a full day jeep tour with Awwad which was a lot of fun, loads of cool sights and we’ll worth it.

Nothing not to like. There was a slight mix up with one tour, but Awwad dealt with it perfectly. We were really happy with our stay, thanks again guys.

Awad is a fantastic host who will gladly tell you about the region and about the Bedouin way of life. He is always ready to help. The location is great, right next to a huge sandstone cliff with great views over the desert. There is a wide variety of dishes to try for breakfast and dinner. All in all it was a great stay with a lovely host!

I had such a lovely 2 night stay here! Awwat and his family were so welcoming and made me feel like I was at home right away. The camp is beautifully situated underneath a big cliff face which makes the scenery spectacular, especially during sunrise and sunset. The camp is clean and rooms are spacious. The food was delicious and in the evenings everyone enjoys drinking tea around the fire and listening to live traditional bedouin music. I can't wait to come back :)

The camp is lovely and the staff is very polite, I really enjoyed my stay. The shared bathrooms and the tents were clean. The food was good. Location - amazing!!! The camp was just up to my expectations, nothing luxury but it was not supposed to be a five-star hotel. Truly unique experience. I would definitely come again.

the accomodation is very clean and it is nice to sit by the fire in the evening. The food is really good (with lots of veggies!) and Awwad will do anything to make you feel at home.

Booking and communication with Awwad via Whatsapp super easy. Due to some health issues we had to postpone our stay and he was very understanding and made it easy to change the dates. He was a great tourguide and always looked for what we wanted. The camp is nicely located, the tents were very cosy and even had electricity. All in all, really nothing to complain about - especially for that super fair price! Thanks Awwad!
