Very comfortable room - I had a deep bath. Bed was also comfortable - I had an excellent night's sleep. Breakfast was certainly enough and tasty.

I am disabled and the treck from reception to the room was quite long with the stairs made it harder. I could have asked for assistance but I didn't, so that's on me.

We attended a wedding hosted here. The function rooms were ideal and multifunctional. The venue host was excellent at keeping the day to schedule. It was late December and the Christmas decorations were lovely. The decor was nice and everything was very clean. Breakfast was delicious, with continental buffet and order from the menu for hot food.

We only had one key card between us for the room.

Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. This feels like a classic style hotel in a peaceful surrounding while also being spotlessly clean. reception were happy to check me in early as my room was ready which I was very grateful for. The bar and breakfast staff were very personable. Food at dinner and breakfast was also very good. I’ve stayed a few times and will definitely stay again.

Paper thin walls, you can hear everything from all rooms around - bad to sleep when you can hear someones tv until late at night. Very poor breakfast. poor quality of product, everything clearly cooked in the morning and kept warm under lamps. Not recommended to pay for breakfast.

This is a charming country hotel with excellent staff who are friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with a large modern bathroom. Breakfast was good too.

Beautiful garden/facade, friendly staff and scrumptious full breakfast.

The bed was a bit too soft. No window in the toilet and the exhaust fan was weak, so the toilet was wet / humid most of the time.

Rooms were nicely decorated, hotel decor and cleanliness beautiful. Staff lovely, breakfast staff especially lovely and helpful. Food delicious.

I had a constant water noise like a flushing toilet in my en-suite, the windows didn’t open fully so it was very hot and stuffy. Second room had a constant hum noise from downstairs we think…unfortunately meant it was very difficult to get to sleep so was tired in the morning which wasn’t great as had a long day ahead and a long drive home to Somerset.

Shower went to boiling hot and stayed there. Had to rinse hair in basin with cold water. Hairdryer became too hot to hold
