Die Lage ist kaum zu übertreffen. Das Hotel liegt in unmitelbarer Nähe zu "The Strand" und zum Covent Garden. Zu Fuß zum St. James Park sind es vielleicht 20 Minuten; man wohnt zentral zwischen Theatern, Bars, Restaurants.

The Waldorf has such history and the staff are so good. Prefer it to the Savoy.

The breakfast experience; the long wait to be seated, being ignored by the Maitre D', and being seated at a filthy table with no cutlery. Cutlery, when provided, was dropped on top of the spilt milk and crumbs from the previous occupant, and when we asked for the table to be cleaned, the staff member just wiped around the cutlery.

Location was perfect, hotel was very nice and polite staffing.

Definitely not worth the amount of money paid. Had a nice room, but after paying best part of £430! to be charged for drinks out of the mini bar and not included in the price. I’d have expected something a little more value for the money spent

The location is very central. Covent Garden. Strand and the Trafalgar square are all a short walk away.

The sound and thermal insulation is poor. Could hear people all through the night like a cheap motel. The housekeeping lacks attention to details with toiletries not replenished. The staff are cold and aloof. The staff at breakfast barely interacts with customers.

Location is great - West End with a number of tube stops is an easy walk away; access to a proper gym is good; staff were very friendly and nice - especially the concierge team who helped with receiving and posting Day 2 covid tests. I paid a bit more to get the next size up room and this was worth it for a 4 night stay.

Obviously hotel operations are a little disrupted due to covid, having to tell reception when the room is available to clean and also to book breakfast slots is sometimes not possible, (but really just a minor inconvenience).

The breakfast & eating areas are amazing! I could find vegetarian options easily. My privacy was respected. Room service was fast & the food was still very hot (temperature). Everyone was very helpful, especially the Concierge who booked one of my tours. Location is perfect as far as walkable distances, safety, & proximity to various tube lines. Plus, most everyone was friendly as it’s fun to have the doormen & doorwoman greet you. Great touch of old & modern!

Location was good because we came to the savoy theatre. Breakfast was nice. Room was clean and comfortable.

For the amount of money you are definitely just paying for location. The hotel itself is not better than a budget hotel.

The line for breakfast was too long for us to be served breakfast. We were then told to use executive lunch which we did and there was no food and staff very unhelpful telling me at 09:50 “we close at 10” really does not go down well

We booked a queen suite that advertised a balcony and clearly showed a window. At check in we were told we had been upgraded!! We had a room with no balcony and not a window in sight . It was like sleeping in a cupboard. Very disappointed as we stay in Hilton hotels often and this was the worst .

Have been charged twice - even though the room and breakfast was pre-paid, on check-in we were charged again. Money still not refunded more than 48 hours later (£300) :(( We checked in after 4pm and found our room had not be cleaned or made up. the duvet was off the bed and a head imprint was still on the pillows :((

The room was ok, but we had a disabled room so no bath. The breakfast was really good. The bar was expensive and the service very slow. One waiter extremely busy while the other staff just watched.

The pillows were way too soft so not comfortable.

Paid for breakfast with the booking, ordered to eat in the room. Breakfast order wrong and missing essential items. Charged again as not included. Room needs updating and decorating. Damaged bathroom wall, badly aligned warning stickers and light switches. Rain shower? Must have been drought season.

Location for the west end theatres was superb, the room was clean and bright and felt fresh. The Scottish guy on the doors was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and had a good selection apart from no roll, only bagels or bread. The glass of Champagne was a pleasant surprise and went down well with the salmon.

The light system in the room was a bit confusing at first, ok once we sorted it out. Could do with a bath mat as the bath became slippery during a shower and could be dangerous getting out when finished, could also do with more milk pots top go with the tea and coffee, ability to make 10 drinks but only 2 milk pots, may seem petty but just an observation.
