Niet hygiënisch, slordig gekleed personeel, onverzorgde gedateerde kamers, vuile vloerbedekking, vieze badkamer, …

Die Lage des Hotels war direkt am Strand.

Das Hotel war sehr dreckig und vernachlässigt. Die Fenster waren so schmutzig, dass man nicht hindurchschauen konnte. Der Lift war außerdem defekt. Unser Zimmer machte den Eindruck, dass es nicht gereinigt wurde. Der Teppichboden bestand vorwiegend aus Flecken und überall fand man noch Dreck von den Vorgängern. Weiterhin war es nicht möglich ein Fenster zu öffnen und da es keine Klimaanlage gab, war es extrem heiß und stickig. Unter diesen Umständen sind wir nicht geblieben, sondern verließen dieses Hotel.

Une très grande chambre avec des lits confortables. Une table avec des chaises et un canapé devant la télévision. Un excellent emplacement à Eastbourne. Parfait pour une famille avec 3 enfants.

Room was much nicer then the one we booked, great location, so close to local shops and beach. Staff were very nice and friendly.

Nicely located, room was much better than expected Guy on reception desk was an absolute joy. Very professional and always asked if we were ok and if everything was acceptable. Think his name was Lewis a credit to the hotel nothing was too much. We run out of t bags and rather than have us wait he bought them up to our room instead. Top guy

Room was over looking the sea on second floor. Windows were very dirty on the outside and whilst the room was generally clean and spacious there was only a thin veneer layer of luxury about it. The bathroom curtains were very tatty with holes. The toilet flush was hit and miss and the hairdryer near the sink and mirror was for show only. The staff though were very pleasant and cheery. We elected to not order breakfast. to conclude we got what we paid for and cannot complain

I did not stay there because the hotel had closed to visitors and they had allegedly transferred my booking to the Lansdowne Hotel for the night as an alternative which I had accepted and acknowledged with both Citrus Hotel and Booking.com.

When we arrived at the Lansdowne Hotel they had no knowledge of our booking and we were very fortunate that a late cancellation came in whilst we were talking to a very helpful member of staff on the desk who was trying to find us an alternative hotel.

The bedroom was cold ,heating didn't work.

The bar in the pictures, is now closed, which is part of the reason we booked. We had to change rooms 3 times, as was given a double when we booked twin, 2nd room no electric sockets worked, so had to move agn. Parts look abit rundown. Lift very temperamental.

Breakfast was good, and location. The room was clean.

Room and bed were okay though could do with a more firm bed. Wish there was a spar facility to benefit from some treatments for total relaxation.

The breakfast was nice and there was a good choice. The room facilities were good and it was spacious. They made the dog very welcome.

Th staff were not knowledgeable. I had to argue with them about the fact that I had paid for breakfast, when they hadn't looked at the booking properly. The family suite is right under the breakfast room, so at 5.30/6 am when they were setting up for breakfast by what I can only describe as a heard of elephants stomping backwards and forwards. My elderly mother, who we had asked to be near us was on the 2nd floor and we were in the basement. They hadn't told us that we wouldn't be near each other. When we went to her room on arrival we waited for what seemed like an age for the lift. When it finally arrived there was a member of staff in the lift with a trolly. They didn't get out and so rather than wait for any longer mu mum had to walk up to the 2nd floor.

The shower was cold and didn't work. The bed was very uncomfortable with springs in my back. The cheap toilet seat moved when sat on.

From window we see only people leg walking on the street,we think we can see sea but everything alse was very good, I will recomend for family. You cant have everything😁

All very friendly. A very pleasant stay. Will go again.

Breakfast a little strange.

The room was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently situated near the beach.

The decor is basic and outdated (see photos). The price was very high for a single room without breakfast. My room key had a card as key ring, with the hotel name and address, as well as the room number on it. If the wrong person finds the key or steals it from you, they know where to find your belongings.

Breakfast was nice and tasty and a variety of choice. Rooms were spacious and clean.

It was a different experience due to covid restrictions. As I there wasnt a bar to relax and have a drink in.
