Great location. Lovely hotel. Room comfortable and very clean. Breakfast excellent. Hosts very friendly. Yvette doesn’t need to get stressed at breakfast, she is doing an excellent job, thank you very much.

Mark and Yvette were very welcoming. I was given a map of Eastbourne wirh highlighted route into town centre. When they realised I'd come to watch the tennis, myself and other guests also wanting to watch the tennis were given a sheet showing the order of play, which had been revised due to bad weather earlier in the week. They also offered advice on location of local amenities and places of interest. Breakfasts were excellent too - eating overlooking the sea. My room was beautifully furnished and well maintained - Mark and Yvette were also keen to promote an environmentally friendly attitude, with recycling waste bins and no single use plastic, etc.

There was nothing not to like.

Although the room did not have a fridge you could take small bottles of fresh milk up there, which is so much nicer than the usual sachets. The breakfast was brought to your table and was excellent. The owners gave me a "passport" which entitled me to a 10% discount at a nearby pub where the food was delicious.

The TV was very complicated to operate but the owner sorted it out for me. The plug for the kettle was in an awkward position. The room was not serviced during my stay, which I was not expecting now that COVID is over.

Best sea view I've had in a hotel and lovely room. Great breakfast.

All good but maybe would have liked a table lamp to read at night.

Yvette and Mark were very friendly, the house is spotless and our room had everything we needed. breakfast was amazing.

we were in room 8 , on the top floor, we struggled a bit with the stairs, but mark kindly helped us take our bag’s upstairs
