the hosts were absolutely amazing, they greeted us so warmly. Caroline even helped me up the stairs with my suitcase, they were extremely accommodating and nothing was to much. hotel was very clean, tidy and beautiful, room was clean and even got biscuits and tea cakes which we have never had before in other hotels

A very warm homecoming to Eastborne, Great host, who take care of their guests with great dedication. Nice we could talk to them about the area, what we could visit. The property is uniquely beautiful. The room and bathroom..the decor …the towels .’’the breakfast. We felt very much at home here. Everything conceived and executed to the perfection. The location is superb. For us 1 address if we go to Eastborne again. A thousand thanks for these beautiful days,,in your amazing Ravilious B@B in Eastborne. The most beautiful stay we ever had …for us it was a 5 stars stay. Warm regards from our family.

Everything is amazing. The room is big, warm, with hot water and a bath, convenient bed and pillows. All the amenities are in. Breakfast is delicious. Hosts are lovely people. Highly recommend.

What a gem of a place! My stay at Ravilious was excellent on every level - it was comfortable, clean and quiet and within easy reach to the seafront and town centre. I felt very welcome by both Chris and Carlone, they are absolutely lovely. As for the breakfast, it was scrumptious and top notch quality! I will definitely be back.

Caroline and Chris are lovely hosts and were very happy to let me check in early and leave my bags so that I could get on with the rest of my day - I was in Eastbourne for work. I booked a single room - the bed was a generous size (probably Queen size) and the room was well equipped and nicely decorated. I particularly loved the bathroom with its rainwater shower. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of cooked options as well as the usual cereals and fruit.

Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Our hosts greeted us on arrival were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent.

No criticisms - a slightly more powerful shower would have been welcome but this did not detract from what was a really enjoyable stay.

Amazing customer service - lovely clean room and the building was beautifully looked after. Breakfast choices great and food was lovely. The bar was a nice pace to gather, and we were welcome to bring our local friends back for a drink.

Personal preference - I like a walk-in shower this was a bath with shower one end. However, it was clean and a great size. I also didn't like the stairs after a three-night stay haha - we were in the attic. If you have mobility issues let the owners know.

What a lovely find! The location is ideal for being close to the seafront, town and south downs. The room was lovely and bed very comfy. The breakfast deserves a special mention! Outstanding breakfast - fresh pastries, fruit, cereal, yoghurt and then cooked to order (including Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale option!) Loved my stay.

The most fabulous breakfasts - lots of choice! Excellent vegetarian breakfast choices. Friendly and knowledgeable hosts, we felt truly welcomed. The entire hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are clean and tastefully designed with very comfortable beds. Good location within the town and parking was very easy outside the hotel. When a hotel supplies Tunnock Tea Cakes on the bedroom tea tray - what’s not to like?! Simply fabulous place.

Pretty much everything. The location suited us perfectly, the room, we had a superior room, was fabulous and the breakfast was really top quality. We also made use of the small bar at very reasonable prices. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful.

We found the bath to be very slippery and I was concerned about climbing out so would recommend a rubber bath mat.

I’m a fairly fussy guest and the solid reviews swayed me to book my stay at Ravilious and I’m ever so glad I did. Chris and Caroline are truly exceptional hosts who have built a phenomenal B&B that they should be so proud of. The rooms are spotless, spacious, blissfully comfortable, and has all the amenities you need during a stay away from home. I usually had early starts to my morning and they so kindly started breakfast earlier than usual which was such a lovely gesture. Thank you both so much for your wonderful hospitality!

Water pressure in the shower could be stronger but not a major issue

I've stayed in almost 100 hotels in the last 12 months and this has been the most comfy stay. Owners were lovely. Never usually bother with reviews but this was exceptional.

We had a great welcome from the hosts, we found a comfortable and clean room, we had a wonderful breakfast that we could order whatever we liked. The hosts were so kind and helpful for everything we needed.
