Staff incredibly helpful

so very elegant & the staff is very gracious and helpful. great place for a solo woman traveler. very safe.

The location was convenient. The hotel room was comfortable and quiet. The staff were efficient.

The window blind didn't work.

breakfast service is shambolic and slow and poor value for money in my opinion. suggest a buffet arrangement would solve much of the difficulty

Location was as expected - close to Oxford Street and shopping. Bar with log fire. General atmosphere was good.

Had already stayed at Durrants a few times without problem. This time was over Christmas with my adult son. We both had single rooms. My son complained that he was too tall to sleep in the tiny bed and was given a larger bed and room. I also had a tiny room which in retrospect I stupidly put up with. The single bed was sloping to one side so I had to learn to sleep on the slope, the inside door handle fell off, phone wouldn't produce an outside line, it took ages for hot water to arrive in the taps which is a waste. Altogether an irritating experience. I had assumed that the hotel was fully booked and that was why my room was not up to scratch but when I asked reception they said it was half empty. Wonder why they thought lodging me in a dysfunctional cupboard was a good idea?

We managed to change rooms without any hassle. Location brilliant. Beautiful period building. The hotel felt upmarket and as if we were having a smart weekend away. Old school charm. Fireplace in lobby and restaurant very pretty

1st room we were given was very small. However I asked for another room, which was a bit bigger. I appreciate that it's an old building but my wife felt like we weren't getting value for money initially. 2nd room much better (but still not particularly spacious). Breakfast menu prices confusing. We paid £25 pp but the menu said that my particular meal was much cheaper. Maybe if you're not a resident ?

the room was very small they do not accept electronic payment (Apple Pay or similar) only physical card which I found a bit odd considering times.

Rooms are tied and no food available on a Sunday night. Generally disappointed.

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. They gave me free parking and offered me an upgrade. Room was nice and good value for money (well, considering it’s in the center of London 😅)

it was very expensive .. breakfast not included and that was £18 for an English breakfast .

Lovely location, a few minutes walk from Bond Street tube station. The hotel is very well managed with the air of courteous service derived from decades of doing it correctly. Beautiful old building and interiors.

Durrants was very welcoming and comfortable. We really enjoyed the English breakfast and especially our High Tea . Our room was comfortable and cozy .

We would have appreciated some bars in the shower to prevent falls .

Really disappointed with this hotel. the pictures of the rooms are totally misleading. we p add is a fortune for 2 nights and we couldnt swing a cat in our room. Tea bags were provided but no kettle which we had to request. nice hotel but we could have had 6 nights in another of the same standard but they doubled the prices because of the Queens funeral 2 days before. unfortunately we needed to be close to the hospital around the corner and most others were booked up.
