Excellent meal in the restaurant.

Spacious and comfortable room, helpful reception staff on arrival, green surroundings, good bus service to centre of Salzburg.

There was considerable confusion over the bills for the two rooms I had booked - largely relating to being overcharged for what were quite expensive breakfasts. It took 15 minutes to sort out and a more senior member of staff called upon to help seemed quite angry with me when he presented me with the final corrected bills. This was a rather unfortunate ending to what had been an enjoyable stay.

Breakfast - wide selection and all organic products. Monica of Reception was very attentive and helpful. Spacious room. Although the location was not central, the bus stop is right across the street from the hotel which is very convenient- takes 15 mins to the center.

Lack of amenities. No chiller/ref to store snacks or drinks. No kettle/ boiler to make tea and/or instant coffee in the room, not even small welcome water bottles. We understand that these were not listed among the amenities, but as a 4-star establishment, this is common and very helpful for the guests. On one of the days, the cleaners forgot to leave us bath towels but luckily, the gentleman in Reception brought us a couple quite fast. The greatest disappoinent was that the safety deposit box did not work and they said it could not be fixed. We had to go out everyday with all our travel documents and cash at hand, which made us very uncomfortable.

Very nice hotel with friendly personnel. The room was clean and comfortable. I would choose this hotel again.

We booked two units. One double room, one triple bed room. Upon arrival, triple room was actually double bed room with “sofa” with extension posibility to be prepared as a bed. That one was not prepared. We complained at the reception, guy told us there is no triple bed rooms, and he will prepared sofa to be a bed. Total price for two nights for two rooms was 588€, breakfast per person additionaly 20€. Value for money is overestimated.

The property was in a good location. Although it’s situated in a corner, a taxi ride takes you to the city centre, restaurants, site seeing points all within 10-15 minutes. The hotel was clean and so were the rooms. However, when the rooms were being cleaned everyday, the bedsheets remained the same as I would see hair on the pillow. The beds were really comfortable. Some staff were very friendly as well (cleaners and one lady at the reception).

The staff (just the guy at the reception and one particular lady at the restaurant) were rude. The guy at the reception was not welcoming at all when we had arrived and looked miserable throughout our stay. No smile whatsoever. This one particular lady at the restaurant was extremely rude. We had a late check-in so we were waiting upstairs in the restaurant area and happened to fall asleep. She had a go at us for sleeping and was very rude in her body language throughout our stay at the hotel. She never greeted us during breakfast time as she would to others and would turn her face every time she saw us. We couldn’t figure out what her issue was.

Breakfast was very nice, tasted home made. Service was friendly and helpfull. Location was nice and peacefull.

Beds were too hard and it was sometimes too hot because we had to keep balcony door closed so sigarette smoke wont come in from other balconys.

I was missing iron in the room, as well as cattle. Little supplies such as tea bags. I was also missing face pads and a little more cosmetic supplies in the bathroom.

Room was big and clean We had a really good sleep here and well rested before leaving to Italy Easy for public transportation as the bus to the city pass right in front the hotel Also the reception lady was friendly and quite helpful

If you need to checkout early best let the reception know and make sure to get your payment all done the day before, we had a bit of an issue due to this but managed to settle it fine even though we were already in Italy Price wasnt exactly budget but then again it's Salzburg,but maybe they could include breakfast or at least free coffee for the price they are charging

I travel a lot and I don't know how this hotel got 4 stars. As a 3 star I would rate it good value for money, but no way this is 4 stars - no gym - cheap and small towels - plastic shower curtain - water facet broken twice, had no running water both mornings because the sensor was broken - cheap thin blanket - shower head broken (got fixed on request) - internet kicks you out every 30min if not used - no food available at 3pm (however, the waitor was nice enough to make an exception and got me a salad) - no dinner available on that day Again, I would rank this high for 3 stars, but no way it's 4 stars. The word luxury does not come to mind at any point. Then again, the price is low, so probably should have made me reduce my expectations.
